The link I am providing is to the White House. Their words not mine.
Healthy living and you
Basically the government has set up a healthcare plan for all Americans. In order to keep costs down we will be expected to live healthy. They will help you to be healthier and if you refuse to do what big daddy says is best for you, either you will be denied healthcare or be expected to pay more. Screw em. Keep your frickin health care.

Drawing conclusions
I am going to post a few links to different news articles. They are not associated with each other.
Oil spill in Salt Lake My comment is about timing. First we have BP in the gulf, then oil leaking in California and Utah. Perhaps we need to hire the little dutch boy to put his finger in the leak. Just for fun search "oil tanker" and crash. We have had a rash of oil tankers overturn on the roads in the last month or so.
Not long ago we had a rash of coal mine explosions and collapses all within days of each other. One can either assume that oil and coal have suddenly become more dangerous or that it is getting better reporting or that something else is going on. The solution being proposed by some is to move away from using these resources. Nuclear energy is being touted again, wouldn't it be odd if we had another accident at a nuclear power plant? That would pretty much leave us with going green.
Summum - Another gnostic group claiming nonsense.
An article from CNN about cloud computing Amazingly enough CNN is saying what I said about the future of cloud computing. I guess now that honored "reporters" are saying it, it is true. I cannot even get the tech people to see it, they don't want to see what the change will mean to their industry. It means there won't be a need for as many of them.
Prince Charles says we should follow the Islamic way. Huh? This guy is supposed to become the leader of the Church of England, a Christian church. We are seeing the melding of beliefs for peace and convenience.
Then there is the wonderful article from the London Times on how " Useless, jobless men are the social blight of our age". What do you think of that?
I have to apologize to the readers who do not personally know me. Many of the things I discuss on this blog are part of ongoing in person conversations. There are many trends we are seeing come to a head. As they become too obvious to be ignored people cannot help but accept them as being true.
A friend of mine was talking to me today, he saw something in the news that I had told him would happen a couple of years ago. He asked me, "Don't you get tired of being right". It was a joke. I don't like many of the trends I see, I disagree with quite a lot of what we are doing; but, to deny where we are headed is foolish and changes nothing.
Stress tests on banks. This is some of my favorite nonsense. They use the same terminology in England. Where did this terminology come from, "stress tests". I had one. When I was in the hospital they put chemicals in me to make my heart beat faster, push it as far as it could go without killing me to see how healthy my heart was. To push a thing to the breaking point artificially is a stress test.
Why conduct "stress tests", why not examine the organization and see what it takes to keep it healthy, not what it takes to kill it? A way of thinking.
Just some random stuff. You draw whatever conclusion you will. My foot hurts.

My foot
Yesterday, I found a piece of glass in my room, I found it with the heel of my foot. I now have a one inch gash in my foot. LOL. I think I got the glass out. I washed it and pulled out the glass. I put a band aid on it and it seems to be healing without an infection. Just in case, I am soaking it in epson salt and applying Neosporin (I paid for the neosporin so there is no ethical blogging dilemma). I don't have any stock in either company and am making no claims about them, it is just the products I am using.
According to the FCC, if I had received a free sample for evaluation and posted on it's benefits without identifying that I had received a free sample, I could be fined up to $10,000. I guess if I had received a free sample in the mail, I could be at risk.
