There is an insincerity in the gun control debate from both sides. Those who say they want "reasonable" gun control are seen as wanting to outlaw all guns. Partly because that is true. Their fallback position is to incrementally go after all guns by calling out each type of weapon.
To those who seek to control gun ownership, lets start with a really simple question. We have a second amendment that codifies the right to gun ownership in America. Which guns should be protected by it? Which guns should people be allowed to own? Why is that never discussed by the left or the media?
