It is Sunday and I am washing dishes and laundry. I am also paying bills. I don't want people to think all I do is blog. I already put my suits together with shirts for the week. In between I read and write. In addition, writing one of my posts only takes about 30 minutes. It is about 100 degrees outside so staying in seems like a good idea.
I was reading a Chinese newspaper and came across an article on their advice to the United States. They recommend that we listen to Obama and allow him to duplicate their economic model. In another article they talk about how China needs to create basic universal healthcare for all in China.
Wait a second. Universal healthcare for China, I thought it was already state run. I wonder who doesn't get it and why they don't.

If you do a little research you will find that just about every nation in the world is discovering at the exact same time that their pension programs are messed up. Most countries are also having problems with healthcare at the same time. Just about every nation is complaining about illegal aliens and foreigners.
The most amusing aspect of reading foreign papers is that the nature of the arguments are all the same. The arguments are always two sides, they say the same thing in each country. Pick five countries, find the biggest newspaper in each and read the front page each day for two weeks, you will see what I mean.

The News Before it Happens
Two men were arrested today and are being charged with terrorism. While we can only know what is being reported, there is something not quite right about the case.
New Jersey thought terrorists
Lets start by looking at the facts. Two men, one born here and the other a naturalized citizen were flying to Egypt. An undercover officer taped them saying they wanted to join a group of muslim "extremists" in Somalia. There is no evidence reported that they had ever connected with any groups and no reports that they had any weapons. The police stated that there was no evidence of an immanent threat to anyone.
The question is what were they arrested for. They were arrested for terrorism. What then is the definition of terrorism? Apparently saying you would like to join a group that is defined by the government as a terrorist organization is enough. This is in direct contradiction to the law. It is funny that the police said there was no immanent threat, that is the requirement for arresting people for words.
These two nothings were monitored by an undercover officer and taped. Nobody's who had no history of wrongdoing and no specific plans. The thing to watch for is whether or not they get a trial. Remember one was born here and the other was a naturalized citizen. Citizenship will be the issue. I have been saying this for awhile.
The question, posed by the government, will be if the two should be treated differently simply because one was born here. You watch, that will be the issue. We are being led down a slippery slope. Both should get a trial. If found guilty then the naturalized citizen should have his citizenship removed and he should be deported after serving a judge defined jail term. The other, the one born here, legally cannot lose his citizenship, he was born here he is a citizen.
We have two problems. The first is arresting people when the government cannot show that they prevented ANYTHING from happening. The police admitted they cannot prove that these two were going to do anything, they admitted it. They were arrested for saying they would like to join the groups. What is the penalty? Life imprisonment without a trial?
The second problem is the attack on citizenship which is really an attack on your rights. This comes a day after Egypt decided that Egyptian born citizens could lose their citizenship if they married an Israeli. Do you see a pattern yet? Baaahhhh.
Read the comments that follow the linked article. Look at the opinions of your fellow Americans. "Throw them all out". The one born here has no place to be thrown to. He is an American citizen unless some country is willing to give him citizenship and none have offered.
If the Patriot Act and other such legislation had been in place when the Revolutionary War was in effect then people saying they wanted to break from England could have been jailed for just having the conversation. Look beyond the fear and biases, look at what fundamental rights are being abused. Yours will be next.
History is repeating itself and nobody knows history anymore. There is a lady that wrote a book about how the United States is becoming totalitarian. She is on the watch list merely for complaining about our rights being taken away. Hey maybe I can get on a watch list for agreeing with her. Screw em. The real threat, the biggest threat is when we stop questioning OUR government.
In Birmingham, England the police have installed 150 cameras to monitor two Muslim areas. Muslims apparently need special attention because they are at risk of becoming terrorists. According to Homeland Security, in America we would need to monitor Christians.
The story of the two idiots flying to Egypt was headlines across the world. That is a lot of chatter for two nothings who did nothing. What will be their penalty. Perhaps, they will be required to wear monitoring bracelets for the rest of their lives. That would be an interesting development. Lets watch the story as the days progress.

As I was reading a Canadian paper I came across an opinion piece. It talks about dual loyalties of citizens in Canada. Isn't it interesting that "loyalty" to one's country is the issue.
Loyalty is a funny term. It is most often used to get people to go along with their countries policies when the policies are wrong. Wait till you are required to take a loyalty pledge in order to have any rights. It is coming, it has been tried before.
Perhaps this nation should take a loyalty oath, a promise to be loyal to the constitution and the people of the country. A promise to keep us free and not have our every move and thought monitored. Instead we see a government that distrusts it's citizens, the people who they are to report to.
Bilderberg is a good example. Now, I would like the readers to try a little exercise. Google Bilderberg as a news story. You will find numerous main stream media reports. They all talk about conspiracy theories surrounding the group; but, dig deeper.
The article I linked begins by dismissing "conspiracy theories" surrounding the group as ludicrous. Really. Main stream media basically says we shouldn't bother wondering what is being discussed by the worlds leaders of industry and government. Really? Why shouldn't we wonder what they are discussing?
In the article, one attendee explained how the confidentiality allowed these world leaders to speak freely. Does that mean that they don't tell the truth to the rest of us? Sounds that way. What matters is not whether or not the Bilderberger's are running the world, doubtful, what should concern us is that they discuss what is best for us in secret. It is a club and you and I are not members, that is a fact.
At it's worst it may be some terrible one world conspiracy, at it's best it is anti-democratic. At it's best, it is elitist and secretive. As the world's leader increase monitoring of citizens they themselves collect in secret. No transparency for them. That then may be the biggest problem. One rule for them and another for the rest of us.
Beyond supposition, wikileaks has obtained a few reports from the Bilderberg meetings. You can read them here and decide for yourself what is being discussed. Bilderberg Meeting Reports.
Another question is, is there anything in those reports that could not have been said in the open? Why the secrecy? The 1980 report talks about creating a North American Union similiar to the European model. Now we have the North American Free Trade Agreement. The report said that free trade would be the cornerstone of any emerging North American Union. Read their words, don't take my word for it. It was written 30 years ago. If you knew it was being discussed 30 years ago, would you have voted for the same people?
I don't like onions. I will ask people, when they serve me food, if there are onions in the food. An answer I usually get is, "There are but you can't taste them". I always find this answer amusing. I usually respond, "If you can't taste them then why did you put them in?" My question regarding Bilderberg, Council on Foreign Relations, Tri-Lateral Commission and other such groups is the same. If there is nothing to be concerned about then why such secrecy?
I am a proponent of privacy and people's right to have conversations kept private; but, not when one is helping to decide the fate of others. Those others have a right to be involved in the discussions. The same people who are putting up cameras all over the world are the one's that have their conversations in private.
In case you don't get it, you have no privacy, you have no say, your opinion does not matter and "they" know what is best for you to know. That is the problem.

I was reading a "The Moscow Times" and came across an interesting article. It was on their "Cash for Clunkers" program. We will get back to that later. The article I found even more intriguing was in regards to the changing political approach of Russia. "The Reset Has Begun".
The article says that we are seeing a kinder, gentler Russia. Mind you, they are also seeking to triple their increase on military spending. One of the reasons for the change it says is because of the emerging China. Russia is a fascinating country, they have been invaded by the east and the west more times than I can count. They uniquely cross Asian, European, and middle eastern cultures. At the same time they had a very strong spiritual belief for centuries.
It was once said in a book that the Soviet Union had offered to attack Communist China if the United States would help. It is said that this offer was made to Henry Kissinger. I am not going to bother finding a link, you can do so. Russia has been invaded by the Mongolians and completely overrun. China has over a billion people, Russia has reason to fear. In addition, China is the economy of the future and Russia is still struggling to find it's place.
For decades Russian and China have had border disputes that have resulted in fighting on occasion. If China bordered the United States, rather than Canada, how would it impact your political choices? If we had over a billion communist Asians with the fasting growing economy, we would feel like Mexico has for many years. Feel like you can be invaded at the whim of your neighbor. Tough place to be.
One of my professors was a consultant to Russia on modernizing. He told me that the key to understanding Russia was in understanding her history. Russia is a fearful country, fearful of being invaded, fearful of not being considered as important as Europe. It is a country of peasants. It is a country of superstition. It is also a country of determination. The people are very closed until they let you in and then you are all the way in.
A very beautiful and young Russian lady spoke to me at a party. She told me she did not understand American women. She said American women were always saying how fantastic and great things were when they are asked. She said things are not always great. Russians are not optimists. They are probably the most pragmatic, materialistic and contemplative people in the world. This is neither a complaint nor a compliment, just my beliefs. Oh, I dated a lovely Ukrainian woman, very educated, very mannered and the exact same way.
In today's world, with the changes we are seeing, it is worthwhile to remember Russia. As we move away from the use of oil, we put Russia in an odd state. It's major material reserve is oil and natural gas. It's strongest industry is the military. They will not become a third world nation or be invaded without a fight to the death.

A Question of Aliens
Not illegal aliens. Aliens, beings from other planets. There has been a lot of talk about them recently, in the news.

The Vatican is willing to believe in aliens. You will notice in the article that the vatican also hosted a conference on evolution and did not allow creationists to attend.
Stephan Hawking says he believes aliens exist. If you do not know who he is, search for him. He is the most famous scientist alive.
Astronaut says aliens exist. The one who was on the moon the longest.
Just so you understand, I am not saying that I believe in aliens. I am providing links to things that were printed, I will give my take on it in a second.

So, why so much chatter about aliens and life on other planets all of a sudden? Not discussion from fringe groups, were talking about scientists.
According to Dr. Carol Rosin, she was told by Wernher von Braun that the illuminati planned to use a false alien hoax to bring in a world government. I have to take a moment here. Wernher Von Braun was a former SS Nazi and he along with Satanist Jack Parsons are the two people most responsible for heading our space program. Does anyone else find this just a bit creepy? Dr. Rosin is part of the Disclosure project, there are youtube videos you can watch.
On a side note. You have to watch this video where Bill Gates calls for using health care and vaccines to decrease the population by 10 to 15%. Vaccines and depopulation. He is attending the Bilderberg meeting to repeat such information according to the Spanish press. His idea is not to use vaccination to kill but to sterilize. Probably pay people to take the vaccine as was recommended in Australia by one politician.
Australia. Lets talk about them for a moment. Firstly, they are going to begin requiring anyone who sells, leases or rents a home to prove it's energy efficiency. In the same article, they talk about "smart grid" technology. I have mentioned that here before in regards to Google taking over the Department of Water and Power.
I seem to have gotten off track. That happens with me, especially on weekends when I just want to peek at weird news. I like this article from Australia, it says that our "Ascension" may have begun.
The "ascension" is described as our vibrational knowledge changing. If you don't know what that means, it is a theory that says that we are spiritual beings having a material experience and that we are going to evolve and be aware of the universe when our perception of higher wave lengths occurs during the coming years. This belief is very popular at present and was originally discussed by the occultist, Madame Blavatsky. I am not a proponent, I believe a universal deception is more likely than an awakening.
Aliens, that was what I was writing about. Are aliens real? Maybe, probably. Someone once said, if there are no aliens than we have quite a lot of wasted space. Have they come here? Maybe; but, it is unlikely. If they were so advanced technically, why bother coming in person? It takes a lot of energy and time, it would be easier to send a hologram via light waves. It would also allow one to reach more places. Still, if I saw such a hologram claiming to be alien, I would doubt it's authenticity.
Australia and aliens and the Queen. Bet you didn't think those three things were connected. An Australian news source reported how the Queen's astronomer recently said that aliens might be among us but that we couldn't recognize them. He didn't bother saying how they could have got here or why.
So here is my question. If you woke up tomorrow, turned on the television and saw the president at the white house saying that aliens were here, or coming here, how would you feel, what would you think? Reagan used to say that he thought we would all come together if faced with an alien threat. Would we, would that be a good reason? If you thought it was a good reason, would you fake an alien presence to get people to ignore their differences and stop war? If people are willing to give up their rights in order to be safe from terrorists, what rights would they give up to be protected from aliens as Stephen Hawking says we would be.
If they told you that alien abductions were real and they were putting cameras in your house to protect you from being abducted, would you let them? Would you let them microchip you so that they could find you and know if you were taken? Hey, if the scientists can ask these type of questions, why can't a blogger? I forgot, because I don't have a license to write.
If aliens came here, would they be here illegally? Would we need better border defenses? Consider the movie District 9 or the movie "Alien Nation".
In a somewhat related news story, Gene Roddenberry's "Questor Tapes" is about to be remade into a new television series. The link is to Wikipedia which summarizes the original pilot and gives the current status of the new project. Questor is a android created by a lineage of androids put here to protect mankind in secret. These androids were left her by the Masters. That sounds somewhat familiar. Another Roddenberry pilot was Assignment Earth. That show was about the decendent of a human who had been abducted by aliens and taught to help us not kill ourselves. His assistant is a black cat named Isis.
Lets talk about brainwashing. Brainwashing is the structured coercion of one person to accept other's beliefs as their own. To give up their free will to believe as they wish. In order to brainwash someone, it is required that you first strip them of their existing beliefs. This is done by breaking down the person. Destroying their sense of privacy, their trust in others and in their belief of how the world operates. After that the "new truth" is methodically taught. You don't have to break someone down if they don't believe in anything to begin with.
There is an old saying, "If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything". Now, lets get to some more interesting questions. If aliens came here with advanced technology that would free humanity from the drudgery of work and provide for all our needs, would you accept the technology? Most people would say yes.
In college I studied Political Science. I had a strong interest in Polynesia. One of my professors thought I should make it my expertise as it would guarantee me a job teaching. Find a niche, so to speak. He understood the business of teaching and consulted with Russia and Ireland's governments. My theory was that the worst thing that happened to the Polynesians was our attempting to make their life easier.
Island cultures are very fragile because fresh water and food are limited. After World War II, the United States took responsibility for a number of islands and their people. We saw them living in thatched rood huts and sent them corrogated steal to keep them dry and provide better homes. The polynesians then stopped knowing how to build their own houses and because of the things we provided them (food, medicines...) they lost many of their traditional skills and had nothing to do. It led to a big increase in alcoholism in the islands.
If we had all of our wants easily provided and no reason to work, what would we become? Heck, video games and television alone have made us fat and lazy and incapable of advanced thinking, instead we are preoccupied with leisure and entertainment. Like mice on cocaine, the real pleasure principle. We don't all seek to grow, we mostly seek to avoid pain and maximize pleasure. Pleasure becomes our God and pain our Satan.
The heaven most seek is pure pleasure, the hell we fear is pure pain. Neither is accurate. The heaven we seek should be growth and the hell we should fear is stagnation. Pure pleasure leads to stagnation and pure pain to a willingness to do anything to avoid it, even things we know are bad. We don't want to believe that, we want to believe if we won the lottery our lives would be great because we could get whatever pleased us.
As I said earlier, I had dinner with a friend. He reads my blog every morning, or so he said. I told him I would post something for him, this is it. He mentioned how he appreciated my writing, thank you. Not hard to believe because prior to the blog he had only read my business writings which are not quite as amusing as the blog is. The blog, I hope the readers know, is much more playful and a hobby than work.
For the past decade I have had people approach me about writing a couple of books on very dull subjects, very dull. I was asked to write one book, by a very experienced CPA, about accounting and it's political consequences and the appropriate use of overheads to provide fairness. Sounds pretty exciting to an accountant, I am not an accountant and I don't think most people would be interested if they were not. The other book I have been asked to write was on public easements, the law, the meaning and their impact. I bet it would sell millions. Both have value; but, I just haven't felt like writing them. I prefer my blog where I can talk about a million things and I don't have to spend a couple of hundred hours of research.
Anyway, my friend was accustomed to reading things I wrote about such topics and I am glad he gets to see my more informal and playful writings. This is not to say that I won't write the books I have been asked to; but, I wouldn't bet on it. I had another friend, he was the world's foremost expert on grading (preparing soil for construction and drainage). He was asked by the prior expert to write a book about it, just before the prior experts death. He was going to do it but got brain cancer at the same time my dad was dying of cancer. He never got to write the book and died.
If I get a year off of work, I will write at least one of the boring books; but, only if I can continue writing nonsense on the web. I play poker, tournament poker, won a couple. My first live tournament was at Binion's, about a thousand people and I made it half way as a chip leader, I went out on a bad beat, it happens. A professional who I had taken out saw me after and asked how I did. I told him about the bad beat. I told him that I still had a great time and felt I did well. He said for him it was just a job and he would prefer to go out fast if he did not make money. It was a job not a joy. I don't want writing to be a job, I prefer having the joy of it.
So, in the end, what was the point of this post? Who said it needed a point? If the reader wishes, they can figure out the point, plenty of clues and no answer. I will not provide one, my friend who I went to dinner with will understand. What the other readers are missing is the context of what he and I discussed which is the key to understanding what I wrote. It is not about aliens, Bill Gates, Blavatsky or me. Just so you understand, I am not saying that I believe in aliens. I am providing links to things that were printed, I will give my take on it in a second.

So, why so much chatter about aliens and life on other planets all of a sudden? Not discussion from fringe groups, were talking about scientists.
According to Dr. Carol Rosin, she was told by Wernher von Braun that the illuminati planned to use a false alien hoax to bring in a world government. I have to take a moment here. Wernher Von Braun was a former SS Nazi and he along with Satanist Jack Parsons are the two people most responsible for heading our space program. Does anyone else find this just a bit creepy? Dr. Rosin is part of the Disclosure project, there are youtube videos you can watch.
On a side note. You have to watch this video where Bill Gates calls for using health care and vaccines to decrease the population by 10 to 15%. Vaccines and depopulation. He is attending the Bilderberg meeting to repeat such information according to the Spanish press. His idea is not to use vaccination to kill but to sterilize. Probably pay people to take the vaccine as was recommended in Australia by one politician.
Australia. Lets talk about them for a moment. Firstly, they are going to begin requiring anyone who sells, leases or rents a home to prove it's energy efficiency. In the same article, they talk about "smart grid" technology. I have mentioned that here before in regards to Google taking over the Department of Water and Power.
I seem to have gotten off track. That happens with me, especially on weekends when I just want to peek at weird news. I like this article from Australia, it says that our "Ascension" may have begun.
The "ascension" is described as our vibrational knowledge changing. If you don't know what that means, it is a theory that says that we are spiritual beings having a material experience and that we are going to evolve and be aware of the universe when our perception of higher wave lengths occurs during the coming years. This belief is very popular at present and was originally discussed by the occultist, Madame Blavatsky. I am not a proponent, I believe a universal deception is more likely than an awakening.
Aliens, that was what I was writing about. Are aliens real? Maybe, probably. Someone once said, if there are no aliens than we have quite a lot of wasted space. Have they come here? Maybe; but, it is unlikely. If they were so advanced technically, why bother coming in person? It takes a lot of energy and time, it would be easier to send a hologram via light waves. It would also allow one to reach more places. Still, if I saw such a hologram claiming to be alien, I would doubt it's authenticity.
Australia and aliens and the Queen. Bet you didn't think those three things were connected. An Australian news source reported how the Queen's astronomer recently said that aliens might be among us but that we couldn't recognize them. He didn't bother saying how they could have got here or why.
So here is my question. If you woke up tomorrow, turned on the television and saw the president at the white house saying that aliens were here, or coming here, how would you feel, what would you think? Reagan used to say that he thought we would all come together if faced with an alien threat. Would we, would that be a good reason? If you thought it was a good reason, would you fake an alien presence to get people to ignore their differences and stop war? If people are willing to give up their rights in order to be safe from terrorists, what rights would they give up to be protected from aliens as Stephen Hawking says we would be.
If they told you that alien abductions were real and they were putting cameras in your house to protect you from being abducted, would you let them? Would you let them microchip you so that they could find you and know if you were taken? Hey, if the scientists can ask these type of questions, why can't a blogger? I forgot, because I don't have a license to write.
If aliens came here, would they be here illegally? Would we need better border defenses? Consider the movie District 9 or the movie "Alien Nation".
In a somewhat related news story, Gene Roddenberry's "Questor Tapes" is about to be remade into a new television series. The link is to Wikipedia which summarizes the original pilot and gives the current status of the new project. Questor is a android created by a lineage of androids put here to protect mankind in secret. These androids were left her by the Masters. That sounds somewhat familiar. Another Roddenberry pilot was Assignment Earth. That show was about the decendent of a human who had been abducted by aliens and taught to help us not kill ourselves. His assistant is a black cat named Isis.
Lets talk about brainwashing. Brainwashing is the structured coercion of one person to accept other's beliefs as their own. To give up their free will to believe as they wish. In order to brainwash someone, it is required that you first strip them of their existing beliefs. This is done by breaking down the person. Destroying their sense of privacy, their trust in others and in their belief of how the world operates. After that the "new truth" is methodically taught. You don't have to break someone down if they don't believe in anything to begin with.
There is an old saying, "If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything". Now, lets get to some more interesting questions. If aliens came here with advanced technology that would free humanity from the drudgery of work and provide for all our needs, would you accept the technology? Most people would say yes.
In college I studied Political Science. I had a strong interest in Polynesia. One of my professors thought I should make it my expertise as it would guarantee me a job teaching. Find a niche, so to speak. He understood the business of teaching and consulted with Russia and Ireland's governments. My theory was that the worst thing that happened to the Polynesians was our attempting to make their life easier.
Island cultures are very fragile because fresh water and food are limited. After World War II, the United States took responsibility for a number of islands and their people. We saw them living in thatched rood huts and sent them corrogated steal to keep them dry and provide better homes. The polynesians then stopped knowing how to build their own houses and because of the things we provided them (food, medicines...) they lost many of their traditional skills and had nothing to do. It led to a big increase in alcoholism in the islands.
If we had all of our wants easily provided and no reason to work, what would we become? Heck, video games and television alone have made us fat and lazy and incapable of advanced thinking, instead we are preoccupied with leisure and entertainment. Like mice on cocaine, the real pleasure principle. We don't all seek to grow, we mostly seek to avoid pain and maximize pleasure. Pleasure becomes our God and pain our Satan.
The heaven most seek is pure pleasure, the hell we fear is pure pain. Neither is accurate. The heaven we seek should be growth and the hell we should fear is stagnation. Pure pleasure leads to stagnation and pure pain to a willingness to do anything to avoid it, even things we know are bad. We don't want to believe that, we want to believe if we won the lottery our lives would be great because we could get whatever pleased us.
As I said earlier, I had dinner with a friend. He reads my blog every morning, or so he said. I told him I would post something for him, this is it. He mentioned how he appreciated my writing, thank you. Not hard to believe because prior to the blog he had only read my business writings which are not quite as amusing as the blog is. The blog, I hope the readers know, is much more playful and a hobby than work.
For the past decade I have had people approach me about writing a couple of books on very dull subjects, very dull. I was asked to write one book, by a very experienced CPA, about accounting and it's political consequences and the appropriate use of overheads to provide fairness. Sounds pretty exciting to an accountant, I am not an accountant and I don't think most people would be interested if they were not. The other book I have been asked to write was on public easements, the law, the meaning and their impact. I bet it would sell millions. Both have value; but, I just haven't felt like writing them. I prefer my blog where I can talk about a million things and I don't have to spend a couple of hundred hours of research.
Anyway, my friend was accustomed to reading things I wrote about such topics and I am glad he gets to see my more informal and playful writings. This is not to say that I won't write the books I have been asked to; but, I wouldn't bet on it. I had another friend, he was the world's foremost expert on grading (preparing soil for construction and drainage). He was asked by the prior expert to write a book about it, just before the prior experts death. He was going to do it but got brain cancer at the same time my dad was dying of cancer. He never got to write the book and died.
If I get a year off of work, I will write at least one of the boring books; but, only if I can continue writing nonsense on the web. I play poker, tournament poker, won a couple. My first live tournament was at Binion's, about a thousand people and I made it half way as a chip leader, I went out on a bad beat, it happens. I had dinner with a friend tonight. After dinner we got some coffee. He mentioned my blog and some posts he found interesting. I promised to post something tonight, this is not it.
