On Why Stephen Hawking is a Douche bag

The renowned scientist Stephen Hawking has written a new book. In it he explains that he can explain how the universe was created and that God is unnecessary. He is a douche bag. As my readers know, I do not cuss on this blog. The term douche bag is not cussing. I could have just as well called him a dirty diaper as my youngest once called my ex-wife. The youngest was about two years old and was upset about something and did not know any cuss words so she made up her own.

Back to the bag. DB Hawking has added nothing new in decades. His latest book is merely a restatement of the old string theory and multi-universe baloney. His theory requires that we believe there are 11 space-time dimensions, "vibrating strings, ... point particles, two-dimensional membranes, three-dimensional blobs and other objects that are more difficult to picture and occupy even more dimensions of space."

Nothing has changed, the fact that DB Hawking says it doesn't make it true, it is the baloney that still cannot be substantiated. His statement that spontaneous creation was inevitable is simply not true. The fact that the universe exists does not prove that it must exist, merely that it does.

If you have been reading my previous posts on quantum physics and the links you will see that his "new" theory is old and not supported by the findings of the current quantum physicists. Heck, he basis his theory on gravity and that cannot even be explained.

It appears to me that DB Hawking is just looking to sell his book and remain relevant. The question is why did he feel the need to bring God into his discussion at all, that is the questionable action. I have no problem with people telling me that they do not believe in God. If they ask me why I believe in him I will tell them, if they do not I will not push the issue. I do however have a problem with people attempting to push their belief that is no God on me and then try and use science to prove it.

This is my personal blog and I have the right to express my beliefs and opinions, nobody is forced to read it and everyone is free to read only the parts that interest them. Much of what I write here, if not most, I do not discuss with people unless they have an interest in it. My blog is not placed in the mass media, no news articles are written regarding what I say. Public figures need to choose their words more carefully.

I do not attack atheists or agnostics or other religions, I will discuss them. I will expose what others like the Rosicrucian's believe. I will debate what they believe; but, I do not attack them. I am Christian and I don't even attack Satanists, I have written about them. So the question is, why do so many scientists feel threatened by the possibility of the existence of God?

Let me simplify, science can never disprove that God exists. It is a logical impossibility, this is Philosophy 101. Science can only "prove" what does exist. That is it's limit. Beyond that, why bother trying to prove that God does not exist, to what end. It does not achieve the desired goal. All I need to prove is that I exist. I have already done that. It is enough proof that spirit exists, I have sentience. You can prove to yourself that you exist.

Quite awhile back I wrote about the fallacy of believing that the planet matters and you do not. Sentience, self awareness, is the single thing that anyone can prove and it proves that we matter. Rocks cannot feel pain, people can. A planet without people or a universe without sentient beings would be irrelevant. If we were not here then there would be nobody to make the universe have meaning. There would be nobody to enjoy it or experience it.

Yesterday a man strapped bombs to himself and took a number of people hostage at the Discovery Channel. He issued a Manifesto. It is the link. In it he says we must stop breeding disgusting human babies. Now I don't know about you; but, I looooove me some babies. I am a baby sniffer, love to smell them when they are just born, I love the feel of them and their little tiny toes. It takes a lot of lies for someone to hate babies. It takes a lot of abuse.

It is our nature to love babies, all animals love their own babies. Babies are life and life is everything. Life is hope, without life there is no hope, just rocks. The man that held the hostages said he was changed by watching Al Gore's "An Inconvenient Truth". He was fed garbage and this is what we get. The belief that you and I do not matter is the filth.

Rocks and rabbits do not matter more than you. You and I matter more than anything else because we give meaning to everything else. The evil in this world is continually telling us how little we matter, how temporary we are, how evil we are. It says that Satan accuses us night and day before God. We give him a lot to charge us with; but, even he would say we matter.

DB Hawking, lets get back to him. Rather than prove his theories, he brings up God. I do not need to bring up God to prove gravity. I do not need to bring up God to prove that I have sentience. So why bring up something you do not believe in?

I believe DB Hawking will later come out and say that he was attempting to disprove God, merely saying he could prove that the universe could exist without their being a need for their to be a God. You see his real problem is that quantum physics says nothing makes sense, nothing should exist. Read the previous posts and their links. He needs to prove that God does not need to exist in order to "save" quantum physics from proving that God does exist. He has failed. He had to fall back on a intellectual wedgie.

Alternate universes are a logical wedgie, they cannot be proven or dis-proven. Because alternate universes cannot be dis-proven, their acceptance is un-scientific. They violate the rules of science just like traveling backwards in time does. These are fundamental scientific rules. They also violate the number rule of science, can you duplicate it. The big bang cannot be duplicated, so to accept it is to accept something that violates sciences rules, it is just a theory, at best.

YOU MATTER. I don't care who you are or what sins you have committed, you matter. You must experience this existence, that is pretty powerful, a rock does not have to watch it's parents die, it's children be born, the pains and trials of life, a rock does not grow. Growth is painful, yet, so rewarding.

All of this garbage that is currently being promoted is not really aimed at eliminating people. It's true purpose is to limit growth. It's true purpose is to limit growth to those that the people on top believe are deserving. It is funded by those people who run this place. You do matter; but, not to them. That is the truth.

The Greatest Pain

I have felt many pains, the ex cheated on me. I know having your heart ripped out and stepped on. Pain is nothing to me. The worst pain was when my not-ex-soninlaw told me that the girl I had raised since she was two was not my daughter. That is worst pain I have ever had. He is fxxxing a-hole. That was the worst pain.

He wanted to hurt me and he did. She failed to heal the pain. She failed, to try and allowed it to linger. I spent my life trying to make her life better and she left me to twist in the wind. How sad. I always get up. How sad that she did not help when I gave my life for her. Where were you when they thought I was dying? You said nothing.

My friends stood by me, you did not. You hid. Shame on you all. Sean, open your mouth up and you will hear the rest, you ungrateful bastard. Show you have some sencwe you ungrateful basxard. You no longer get a pass, ready to play?

Housing Update

I recently wrote a post called "Where we are headed". Part of the post was about housing and how some are calling for an end to home ownership. Now, from Australia, comes more of the same. It is an article about how the selfish, old baby boomers refuse to move out of their houses so that families can move in.

We are seeing baby boomers worldwide pitted against the younger generations. Pensions, housing and healthcare will be the battlegrounds. Who gets what. How do we allocate resources. Who is valued and who is not. I am not a baby boomer, I am like the kids on "That 70s Show". When I think of baby boomers, I think of kids from the 60s, hippies. The Hippies had a motto, "Don't trust anyone over 30".

Problem is, they taught that to their kids and they are now over 30, way over 30. You do reap what you sow. Many hippies rejected their parents, their life styles and their beliefs. It is ironic that the children of the hippies are being put at odds with their parents.

Spirituality, Religion and Faith

I read this article about Spirituality versus Religion. Like the writer, I have also heard a lot of people tell me that they are spiritual but not religious. The terms are never defined.

The sloppy use of words leads to sloppy thinking. In general people who are spiritual but not religious seem to define religious as either belonging to a particular denomination or having firm beliefs in what is right and wrong based on their faith. The definition they use of spiritual seems to be whatever they want. For some it is the feeling that they are part of a larger universe, for others it can be that they are somehow in tune with nature.

The word spirit, in a religious discussion, really refers to believing that our essence is not material, that it is beyond the physical. If one is spiritual, meaning that they believe they are more than their body, then one should investigate what the nature of the spiritual world is.

People have said to me over the years that there are so many different religions that it proves they are all wrong. This is really lazy thinking. There are lots of different beliefs in politics, that does not mean there are not better ways to do things. Just because there is a lot of wrong thinking does not mean there is no correct answers and that is the beginning of the search. The search is not for spirituality, it is supposed to be a search for the truth.

I do not believe any one of us is capable of fully knowing the truth, we are limited beings. Each of us understands things slightly differently. The truth I know may be different than the truth you know; but, they can both be the truth. Like the blind men and the elephant, one can know the trunk and one can know the ear and one can know the leg. The Universe is like that, it is too big for anyone to know all at once.

If we seek the truth we find ourselves. We discover how others effect us and how we effect them. Spirituality is not an individual journey, it is a great journey of learning how "we" connect. Buddha was a spiritual man; but, not religious. He was very interested in how we impacted each other, he cared about other spirits, human ones. For some becoming spiritual does not involve God; but, it must still be about others.

Spirituality without belief is not spirituality. If you believe in nothing you will fall for anything, as it is said. There has been a debate over whether or not certain denominations should give up on their beliefs because they are no longer popular in order to retain membership. This is logically insane.

Because it is a popular argument I will use homosexuality as an example. The Catholic Church and the Mormon Church both believe that homosexuality is a sin. As a Christian (I do not belong to any denomination) I would agree. Okay, now what. Lust is a sin, as a lustful man, I would still agree that it is. I think what I am trying to say is that we are all sinners, the question is what actions should be prohibited and what are appropriate restraints on people.

New York has become the last state to pass No Fault Divorce. No Fault Divorce means that you can commit adultery and have your ex-spouse pay you money. Why can we reward adultery and punish gays? Is that in the bible?

In the New Testament there is the story of an adulterer and the men of the town were about to stone her to death. Jesus says to them, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Nobody throws a stone. If it had been a gay man, would Jesus have said differently? I think not.

I have had many a gay man ask me if I thought homosexuality is a sin. I always tell them yes and then give my explanation. I am not aware of any of them ever being angry at me for my answer. They rarely ask me why I think it is a sin, they have usually been more interested in what I think should be done about sin. Most sin is between the sinner and God, it is not my business. When people make other people unwilling participants it has societal effects that we can protect ourselves from.

I have a problem with how the Catholic church is being run. It cannot condemn gays and then not assist in the prosecution of Priests who have molested little boys. The gay men I have met do not look for little boys or to force anyone. For me, laws should not be based on spiritual beliefs, they should be based on consent, informed and rational consent.

It is not for me to tell another person they are a sinner absent a close relationship. That is between them and God. It is for me to stop them from stealing my car. That is between them and me. It is also not for us to outlaw boxing just because someone might get hurt. That has willing consent.

I detest mixed martial arts; but, I would not outlaw it. I also will not watch it.

The denominations will completely disappear if they cease having beliefs. What needs to change is how they act on those beliefs. The church is supposed to be a collection of people who believe in God not a collection of bullies. We are to be bound by love for one another not by hate of others.

The issue is not individual spirituality, it is about finding the truth and then finding the most loving way to live by that truth. It is not about being right, it is about making things better. That comes from love.

"Love is always patient and kind; it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited; it is never rude or selfish; it does not take offense, and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end."

The quote from the bible says that "Love takes no pleasure in other people's sin but delights in the truth". A casual reader might read the words and assume that it means that love does not enjoy sin; but, that is a limited reading based on the context. I believe it refers to feeling you are better because other people are worse. A common attitude in the church at present.

We are told that as believers we should always have an explanation for why we believe. We are not told to force those beliefs down anyone's throat or look down upon those who believe differently. "Spiritual" people, religious or not, frequently have few beliefs, it is often a search for "inner peace" rather than the truth.

For the church, any church, to have relevance it must seek the truth and do so in a loving way rather than a self-righteous way. If it gives up the truth it does not matter how big it grows, it ceases being relevant. If believers do not live by their beliefs then they are not of Christ. His explanation was, "Love God with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself". I do not believe that the church should be involved in politics either. I do not believe the churches focus should be on charity. I believe it's focus should be on God.

Gays Cannot Divorce in Texas

A state appeals court in Texas said that gays who got married in another state cannot get divorced in Texas. How dumb are Americans. What has to happen now? It goes to Federal Court. LMAO.

Look, the courts are tools to achieve political ends. If the court in Texas, which does not honor the laws of other states, refuses to divorce gays, what are the next steps? No state will accept the legally married status of another state. Eventually the states will get out of marriage all together, they will only concern themselves with child care. This is all orchestrated. It is a joke.

Sorry for being so quiet. Lots on my plate this last weekend. Everything is better now, in so many ways. I do wish you to understand that I actually feel bad when I don't post as there are some who have come to expect it. I promise to have somethings to discuss in the near future.

Oh, I got one right. I have been watching my little desert town change and was pretty sure that it was in preparation for jobs to come to my area. It has just been announced that 17,500 jobs are coming to my area. That is a lot of jobs. Be well.
