Detroit Free Press - How a Chapter 9 bankruptcy could affect Detroit pensions, health care. Detroit is in trouble, Detroit has been in trouble for awhile and now it is declaring Bankruptcy. Detroit had attempted to blame their situation on their pension costs; but, it is a lie. Detroit lost half it's population, it's tax base and property taxes are abysmal and every municipality has been hurt by the economy.
Here is how a public pension works. For most employees they make a contribution and the municipality makes a contribution. This money is put in a bank account that is owned by the employees, not by the municipality although it may help manage it or assign people to it's board overseeing the pension. The question was raised and continues to be raised as to whether or not the pension fund can be raided to help pay the cities debt. It cannot, the money ceased being the municipalities the minute it was put into the pension account, same as if it had been paid directly to the employee and the employee had invested it in a retirement account themselves.
The next trick Detroit wants to try is slashing pensions for people who have already retired even though the money is already in the pension fund. Well, that seems odd doesn't it? It does until you understand the effect it would have, it would allow Detroit to turn that money over to new hires to fund their pension even though they did not work for it. Remember how San Bernardino declared bankruptcy and blamed it on it's pension obligations and then it turned out that CalPers caught them hiding the money that would have more than paid their obligations. I bet they would have found it later.
You might have noticed that municipalities are not going after Police and Fire pensions, have you wondered why when the biggest costs in most cities is for police and fire? Lets consider what happens when you change your pension rules. Many municipalities are cutting benefits for new hires and making them work more years. Instead of being able to retire after 30 years of service, new hires might have to work 40 years. Okay, lets say you worked 4 years with half of them in government, because you will get a pension, you do not get Social Security or it is so reduced as to be ludicrous even though you put my money in social security. Because a government pension seems secure many people choose to enter government.
Now, what happens if you don't have benefits for new people who go into government? You don't get any good people. Maybe you are a young engineer and want to build libraries, you could go into private industry or government. A good engineer who who just wanted security and to know what to expect (most engineers are very conservative), you go into government. Now, if you don't get a pension, why would you go into government unless you couldn't get hired anywhere else. If you don't think the government has any good engineers you should look at the Public Works projects of the last 100 years and you might find they were some of the best construction projects in the world.
A pension is used as handcuffs in the government. You hire them young and hold out the pension as a giant carrot. Once they have sufficient institutional knowledge and experience they won't leave you because by then they have too much invested in their retirement. In private industry the average employee changes companies every 6 years (this may have changed since 2008 with all the layoffs). With a 401k, you have no long term commitment to the company so you jump around as you will. You gain skills from one company and then sell them at a higher price to another company if you are any good. What happens when the average government employee spends six years and then goes into private industry because it no longer benefits them to stay for 30 years? I know this answer, they will sell you out if they can, they will give your inner workings and decision working away to private industry at least the ones who can will and the ones who cannot don't really matter anyways.
You may think generals may make a lot of money and have a great pension, they do not. They live the life of the wealthy; but, do not make the money and don't have to. When they retire if they wish to continue that lifestyle, they have to prostitute themselves out to industry and it pays well, more than they ever made in government. They use their respect from people who used to work for them to sell them on whatever company they work for.
Now lets get back to the article. Now here is the kicker, from the article, "But Orr says the city will stop making additional payments to its pension funds, which would total $200 million to $350 million annually. This could trigger a recalculation of future monthly pension checks." So, his solution to the problem is not have any government contribution to pensions. Wow. That is a disincentive to even consider working for Detroit. Even most companies offer a 401k and kick in something. This is a game, the offer is to have existing employees go into a 401k and the City will contribute something or offer new hires a 401k with no matching contribution. It is a negotiating ploy and a show for the residents of Detroit.
So how will it end. People who are retired and have already made their payments into the system are not going to accept losing what they have paid in and will be paid their pensions. New blood will not be found and the civilian workforce will be contracted out or at least a great majority of it. This reduces the pension obligation of the municipality; but, costs do not go down. This will not happen immediately, it will be a slow painful death.
It begins with municipalities being able to hire anyone and lots of good talent, people who lost their jobs in private industry, people who were raised in private industry. Right now nobody is hiring except in the service industry. Right now you can hire people from private industry at a quarter of what they used to make with 20 years experience. They will do well for government if they can adjust and then, because they get no benefits as new hires, will leave as soon as they can sell your municipality out because that is what they learned in private industry.
The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) is the best financial minds in government. They have said that there is no public pension crisis, the pensions are funded and can continue as currently configured. There was a change in how these pensions are reported. It used to be that you showed current expenditures and income and assets. Now you show future expenditures. It is as if you bought a house today for $100,000 and over the course of the 30 year loan would spend $300,000. Now would you show your current costs as the yearly mortgage ($7,000), your total owed if you paid off today ($100,000) or what you expect to pay over the next 30 years, the life of the loan ($300,000). It is an apple to orange question. Municipalities are showing their pension life-cycle debt ($300,000) compared to their annual income rather than what they expect to take in over 30 years.
It is actually quite simple. There is more than enough funds to pay off people's public pensions if we cease giving pensions to new hires. There is no pension problem. New hires can cut their own deals, that is true for every generation. The problem is that it will be real hard long term to get or keep good talent in government if they are not offered some retirement and the politicians don't trust having a workforce that doesn't owe them something and is willing to switch back to private industry and give them up in a heart beat. They lose all leverage.

Addicted to Talent Shows and Some Music
The Pimpernel has been facing some MINOR medical challenges. LOL, really, they are minor; but, must be dealt with and hate seeing doctors and am a very bad patient. I am nice enough; but, I am not very cooperative and there are some things I just won't do. I have an excellent medical plan and had a great doctor who actually cared about me, I think. He tossed me off his list of patients because I would not do anything he told me. Anyways, I am getting ready to see a new doctor and some of the people I work with know this. I told them it is nothing worrisome and it is not, so to all my dear readers believe me when I say it is not a big deal, just something I need to take care of. Here is the bottom line, I may be offline for a few days and it is absolutely not life threatening, more embarrassing.
Now, on to what matters, music. I have been watching more and more YouTube videos of talent shows. I understand that they are really about pulling at your heart strings, that is the genre. Not long ago I came across a singer from Britain. She had gone on the Voice UK and was not picked up. Then she went on Britain's Got Talent and made it to the semi-finals. She should have lost on the Voice UK, she didn't pick the right song. She should have gone further on Britain's Got Talent because she found the right songs, Torch Songs, my favorite. I want to post some torch songs for you. At heart, I love jazz the best, it just feels right to me.
Jazz is, wow, I don't know what to say. Jazz is freedom of the heart. I took my wife, now my ex, to a restaurant once a very long time ago. We were poor at the time, I had just graduated and was working two two full time jobs at minimum wage. I won a contest at work, I couldn't tell you what it was if I had to. I got dinner for two at a very nice local restaurant, what a treat it was. There was a piano player at the restaurant, he played some accessible jazz, things everyone would like. I gave him a very big tip and asked him to play what he felt in his heart and not what the people might expect, he did and loved it as did we. Jazz has to be from the heart to be great or it is just music.
Jazz must effect your heart on the deepest level. Opera is the hardest to sing and classical music is the hardest to play; but, technical skills can get you buy. It is not like that with jazz, it has to be from the heart or it is just music. Rock is about attitude (and I know at least one of the people that reads this blog is in a rock band), jazz is about heart. You don't learn jazz, you feel it or you do not. You do not appreciate jazz, you live it, you feel it, you absorb it and share with it. It is the most intimate of all music genres.
Rock is a celebration of the joy within us. Classical is the celebration of what we are capable of. Jazz is the turning of pain into the sweetest of feelings, it is the nexus between pain and pleasure. If you do not hurt, you cannot understand the joy. The lack of pain can be the greatest pleasure. Anyone who has ever suffered from Cluster or Migraine headaches can understand that. Now for some jazz.

Now I will tie this all together and it is really stupid. My bottom hurts, lets leave it at that. It is not life threatening and I just have to have the doctors make it not hurt. ROFL. If the Pimpernel was in any possible danger, I would make sure that I left a final post or gave access to my blog to make such a post. This is not it. I had notify some of the people that work with me about my situation. I am devastated by their responses. I was at work today and the love I was shown purely blew me away. Wow, so many people worried about me, people who wanted to visit me in the hospital. You name it.
Ever since my father passed away and I got divorced, my friends have been so amazing to me that words escape me and I write a lot. To know that the people who work for me actually care about me is the greatest achievement I have ever made in my life. If you are ever blessed with people to be responsible for, make them matter to you because you are responsible for them. Hope you enjoy the music.

Martin, Zimmerman and Media Hype and Spin
I don't usually talk on what I consider "current events", those articles that everyone has a take on. Here is the extent of what I know about the case. A Hispanic guy named Zimmerman was on neighborhood watch, he followed a young black man named Martin who was wearing a hoodie. Mr. Martin and Mr. Zimmerman fought, Mr. Zimmerman shot Mr. Martin and claimed self defense.
As for what was in the mind of the two involved, nobody knows for sure and never will. The media has raised all kinds of issues, lets consider some of them.
1. The death was racially motivated. Seems unlikely, if Zimmerman had said lots of racial things in the past, that would have come out. I doubt very much he joined the neighborhood watch to let houses get robbed my other Hispanics.
2. Mr. Martin was a bad kid looking for problems. Again, seems unlikely. Mr. Zimmerman had been following Mr. Martin and he knew it because he called a friend and told her about it. He may have struck Mr. Zimmerman first; but, if you follow someone you risk them responding.
3. The death occurred because Florida believes you don't have to disengage from a fight and that you can "stand your ground". It is a stupid law, if you can avoid a fight or killing someone then you should. If you don't have a way to avoid it, then that may be a different situation.
Those are the main issues that I noticed; but, the spin on them is what is really interesting. There are some who have attempted to compare Mr. Martin to Martin Luther King. I find that simply horrendous. Mr. King spent his life trying to bring about civil rights and risked his life to do it. Mr. Martin did no such grand things.
Others have attempted to portray Mr. Zimmerman as some sort of defender of his neighborhood. If he was, he sure did a bad job of it. Neighborhood Watch does not require a gun, you are not there to prevent crimes, you are there to report them.
Here is the problem I have with all the spin, these two don't represent anyone I would want to be and they don't represent most of us. The media is the biggest problem in this whole thing. There was a witness in the case, a black woman who spoke to Mr. Martin on the phone. Apparently she was afraid Mr. Martin was being followed by a gay cracker, according to her testimony. She did not make a great witness; but, you get the witnesses that you get. Now she is being portrayed as a ghetto gal, she was on Piers Morgan explaining why it is okay to say, "Nixxa"; but, not "Nixxer". As if her lack of social graces has anything to do with the case. She is being put on television because it gets a reaction.
Here is how I see the case. A young black man wearing a hoodie was walking through a neighborhood at night. A over zealous neighborhood watch volunteer decided to follow him. Mr. Zimmerman exited his car to question the young man. Mr. Martin decided to respond and punched him or grabbed him or whatever. Mr. Zimmerman was losing the fight and shot Mr. Martin. Nobody wins and everyone loses. Two people who made bad decisions got in a fight, one of them is dead and the others life is ruined. Here is a thought, what if they had both just called the police?
What if Mr. Martin had gone home, called the police and given the license plate number of Mr. Zimmerman. How would the story have turned out? Well, the cops would have explained to Mr. Zimmerman how wrong he was and asked him about his carrying a gun on neighborhood watch, it is frowned upon. Mr. Martin would have been told it was a mistake and that they would make sure it didn't happen again.
Now, what if Mr. Zimmerman had just called the cops and waited. Same answer as above. The cops would have checked out Mr. Martin and asked Mr. Zimmerman why he had a gun with him. Lets also consider this alternative. What if during the course of the fight Mr. Martin had killed Mr. Zimmerman, would your position be the same, self defense or racially motivated? Just imagine the headline, "Neighborhood Watch Volunteer Killed by Pot Smoking African American". Two idiots got in a fight and one died. The media saw an opportunity to get some ratings so they played all the cards they could, the race card, the gun card and now even the gay card. The mainstream media is nothing but vampires that live off of our biases. They make money by playing the emotion card.
Now lets consider the most extreme possibilities. Mr. Zimmerman had hated blacks all his life, he believed all crime is committed by blacks and would join the KKK if they took Hispanics. He joined the Neighborhood Watch so that he could catch and kill a black man, prevent a crime and save the world. He saw a black youth and decided he should kill him and did. Who would support that? Mr. Zimmerman would be seen as just another nut job, no big news story there.
Lets consider another alternative. Mr. Martin was becoming a criminal and was looking to rob a house on his way home. He was an evil young man trained in Mixed Martial Arts, he saw that he was being watched and attacked the person watching him and attacked him. Fortunately, our young Neighbor Hood Watch person managed to save his life by stopping Mr. Martin. Not much of a story there either. You have to have drama and questions. The media lives off of beating a dead horse until it stops giving ratings and viewership.
I would like to recommend that my readers read the linked article. It is by a comedian named Tom Green. He talks about an issue that I have also talked about, how television is focused on rewarding bad behavior. Huffington Post - Reality TV -- Rewarding Bad Behavior.
Two people could have made better decisions, one was more at fault than the other, does it matter which one or even why? How does this go international? How is this evidence of bigger issues? It is the wrong case to prove any point. I don't have a racial bone in my body and have never been accused of such a thing. The woman that helped me through my divorce was black and from the ghetto and I love her with all my heart; but, we were not romantic. We preferred to be friends for live. The love of my life was half Hispanic and half Irish, I will never stop loving her though she is dead. My ex was a Heinz 57, as she used to say, she was a little of everything including American Indian, as my children are. My most read post on this site is about a black pastor, Pastor Carol Daniels. I didn't write it because she was black, I wrote it because I want them to catch her killer and make sure her/her never does that again. I didn't write it was because she was a Pastor, I wrote it because I was concerned people might focus on the wrong thing and miss the perpetrator.
She was killed in a town with Blacks, American Indians, Whites and Hispanics. She believed in love, forgiveness and dedication. I wrote my post long before Mr. Martin was killed. My heart cries out for her family and they have been loving enough to appreciate that and reach out to me, to thank me. An old white, bald, Irish American (actually I am just an American at this point, this is my home and my love is Southern California). I cannot speak for the late Pastor; but, I can make guesses. She traveled every Sunday to be there for people who might need her. While her church was mainly black, I do not believe she would have ever turned anyone, not black, not white, not Mexican and not American Indian. I believe each person who showed up would have been loved, accepted and told about the love of God.
I am a white, Irish-American, bald, short and tubby old man. I preach to gay Hispanics some Sundays. Pastor Daniels is my hero and she was an overweight, African American; but, neither of us saw ourselves as others did. We are Christians and sent here to preach love and forgiveness and tolerance. She did her job and has been an inspiration for me to do mine. Who is your inspiration, Mr. Martin, Mr. Zimmerman, either or all of the above? I think I will stick with Pastor Daniels.
I write this blog to raise real questions. I write it to get people to get beyond the obvious and ignorant. I write it to get people to think differently then they have been trained. To think rather than react. The question we should always ask ourselves i show do we make things better and not how do we be right. Dr. Martin Luther King asked us to be the better us. I ask the same thing.

Okay, more news as I prepare to go to bed.
I am going to post a bunch of articles and comment on them as I see fit. I am getting ready to go to bed. I wrote a rather long post tonight and don't have a bunch left so this will probably be short.
The Guardian - How capitalism's great relocation pauperised America's 'middle class'
The Independent - Exclusive: Mice with human chromosomes - the genetic breakthrough that could revolutionise medicine. There was a book, Of Mice and Men, what happens when we are all seen as a combination of both, what happens to human rights when we give up being completely human? Think about it.
Godlike Productions - End Times News: 666 Mark of the Beast Technology - PROOF We Are The Last Generation. If you get bored, watch the videos, it is better than watching television; but, question what each of them says and don't accept it all. Just question whether or not the world might be different in any way from what you think it is like.
BetaBeat - Eyeball-Scanning Is Now a Reality, Coming to a Middle School Near You. If this is a surprise to my readers then you have not been paying attention.
Mother Jones - Confirmed: Fracking Triggers Quakes and Seismic Chaos
. This is possibly one of the dumbest articles I have ever read. Fracking in Texas does not cause earthquakes months later in Japan. It is simply garbage; but, who is the audience and what are they trying to sell them?
Yahoo - Us Weekly - Jane Lynch Files For Divorce From Wife Lara Embry. Marriage is not a government contract, it is a lifelong commitment to another and it does not have to involve sex. What I speak of is spiritual marriage. My "wife" and I were never married, we had a government license; but, she never believed that marriage was for life, she did not believe in that sort of complete commitment. Ms Lynch was clearly confused by what marriage is. She rushed to get government acceptance of her sleeping with another woman and did not need such a thing to do such a thing. Acceptance is meaningless. She married and divorced in less than three years, where was the commitment.
Some people think that because I do not care about gay marriage and even preach to gay people that I do not have an opinion. I do. I believe that a man and woman that are in love is the greatest love. I believe in commitment to another. If a man truly loves another man then they should commit to always do what is best for one another, to always worry about what is best for one another. I love my brother and my sister and we don't have sex, still, I am committed to doing what is best for them, so long as it is the right thing to do. Is that a form of marriage? Marriage means commitment, it does not mean acceptance. A marriage that is not based on commitment is prostitution, it is sex in exchange for goods. That is how the government views it. Ms. Lynch has asked to be excused from paying alimony to her wife, how gutless is that, how despicable is that? If you ask for the right, don't shirk the responsibility. I cared for my step-daughter, I never received a dime from her biological father even though the court had already told him to pay up. I pay my ex and don't whine about it. I may not agree with it; but, it is the law and we are told to be good slaves by God.

It is a lie, they knew what was going on or they would have had a different answer, they would have asked by what right the federal government acted within their community without having talked to them. I am quite sure that they have an attorney and it does not take a lot to research the federal governments restrictions over how they operate within states.

Secret Societies, Our Government and College
There was a man named William Cooper, he was a "conspiracy theorist". Many years ago he wrote a book called "Behold a Pale Horse". I am going to provide a link to the audio book, it is about three hours long. Mr. Cooper predicted 911 and shortly after it happened he was killed in front of his house, being shot from behind by policemen who were acting like drunken cowboys. President Bill Clinton called Mr. Cooper the most dangerous radio host in America. I don't think it was because Mr. Cooper believed in UFOs, I think it was because he understood the drive towards globalism. It is an admitted fact that the Clintons are globalists. Before you listen to the audio book, I want you to watch this short video.
YouTube - Hillary and Walter Cronkite - Not JBS - For World Government. We have to keep our eye on the prize, the thing others think is the prize. The real prize is loving and forgiving one another and trusting in God. The prize most seek is some sort of utopian world; but, their utopia has no room for real freedom or real variation in the thing that really matter. The most important right in the world is the freedom of thought. There is a line in the bible which says, roughly, what does it benefit a man to gain the world and lose his soul.
Behold A Pale Horse ( Audio Book).
In the book, Mr. Cooper talks about many different groups and how they all serve the same agenda. The groups themselves are not secret, we know their names and it is relatively easy to find books about them. What is secret is what they discuss. For social groups, this does not much matter. For political groups in a democratic society, it does. You may remember that both George Bush and John Kerry were members of Skull and Bones. Skull and Bones is a secret society for Yale students.
Here is what you need to know. There are certain groups that mold public opinion and determine what the agenda of nations will be. On the lowest level, they are groups such as the Masons, Rosicrucians, Kabalah and other semi-spiritual organizations that have semi-spiritual rituals and focus on good works. Think of these groups in the same way that you think of fraternities in college. Other examples with a less spiritual focus would be the Rotary Club and other such organizations. These groups do not actually set any policies, they help implement policies and don't even know who is setting their agendas as the agendas come down from their leadership.
On a higher level we have a series of very exclusive groups that set policies internationally. You should become familiar with these groups.

Now, what do all these groups have in common. Firstly, they believe in globalism and international law superseding national and sovereign law. If you listen to the whole audio book you will find that many of the things that Bill Cooper talked about have now been proven. The things that Snowden has released were discussed by Mr. Cooper. The book was written in 1991.

Some of the things that Mr. Cooper talks about I disagree with and he certainly changed his beliefs over the years. He came to believe that aliens are not visiting earth and that if they did show up, it would be a lie. Personally, I don't believe in the Patriot movement, I don't believe in violence. Over the years many people have stolen from Mr. Cooper, people like Alex Jones, Jeff Rense and David Icke have relied heavily on the research that Mr. Cooper did regarding the organizations and societies that have an inordinate amount of influence over decision making without having public participation.
As Mr. Cooper goes into some great detail about aliens in the third tape, I think I should point out my view and it is one that Mr. Cooper came to believe later in life. Firstly, we are not being visited by aliens. The alien, ghosts and other phenomenon are used to hide the truth about what our governments do and what they are capable of. Consider the two most common conclusions people draw when something out of the ordinary happens. If they believe in aliens, ghosts or whatever then they accept the phenomenon as so inspired. If they do not believe in the supernatural then they ignore it as natural, mis-identification or lies. Government advanced technologies are rarely considered and when they are, nobody follows up on it.
A few years back there was an event in Phoenix called the Phoenix Lights. Here is a wikipedia article on it. Phoenix Lights. There is no denying that these lights were seen in Phoenix and there is no denying that something very strange happened. The two choices we are given is that they were flares being dropped from planes or aliens. It was not flares and that hypothesis has been thoroughly been debunked. It also was not aliens. Problem is, nobody is asking what it really was. Why is it that people don't question whether or not it was some government technology being tested to see it's effect on a population? It is an admitted fact that the government has tested the spreading of certain diseases (usually the flu) on civilians without their knowledge. As recently as a couple of weeks ago the government said that they were going to test the security of the New York subway by exposing people to something. That was openly printed in the main stream media newspapers.
Disinformation and information spin are the tools of intelligence organizations. I would you to consider something. Ronald Reagan reported that while he was governor of California he had witnessed a UFO. Ronald Reagan also used to ask what we (the world) would do if confronted by an alien attack and he said he believed the world would come together as one. If you were president and believed in aliens and believed they might come here, what would you do? I know what I would do, I would make preparations with other governments to unify if ever faced with certain challenges and you know what, that is why it was so easy for the power brokers to get Reagan to go along with contingencies for world government. He who controls the information controls the decision maker.
We are not being visited by aliens. Do aliens exist, my guess would be yes. My reason is simple whether you believe in God as I do or believe in a "scientific" "big bang" theory, there sure are a lot of stars and planets and it seems like (as one person said) a real waste of space if none of them were inhabited. The problem is that the things often claimed to be of aliens don't fit any logical construct. An advanced civilization capable of coming here would have no use for the type of bizarre medical procedures that are claimed to be done to "abductees", the types of actions done by "UFOs" do not fit with any reasonable scientific theories; but, that assumes that the ufos are physical. If we accept that not every UFO is explainable using standard scientific theories that does not mean we must accept an alien hypothesis, we do have other options. What if the "UFO phenomenon" was merely an attempt to see how people's perceptions could be manipulated using advanced technology and the power of suggestion? What makes that less likely than aliens or assuming that millions of people worldwide mistakenly claim to have seen UFOs?
Here is another thing to consider. Recently, the military along with local police conducted exercises to combat a zombie invasion. Everybody thought it was a cute idea and would be fun. What they were really training for was dealing with a major civil disturbance and those who riot were portrayed as zombies. A zombie is somebody who does not do as told and instructed during a collapse of society, that is what the imagery is. Aliens are used in the same way. It is an image used for planning purposes when you cannot say what the image represents. If you listen to the second half of the audio book, consider that Mr. Cooper may have read the documents he says that he did; but, he assumed they were true and not an intentional manipulation of his perception until after he wrote the book.
Now, lets talk about what is really going on. We created a world of super-rich and super-influential people. In Political Science this is called the iron rule of oligarchy. Every society eventually is run by a few, this is history. As we move towards international governance the oligarchy becomes smaller, some win and some lose. All oligarchies rely on the best and the brightest to tell them how to achieve their goals. Those who assist are rewarded with whatever they want. The best and the brightest are recruited into a system which indoctrinates them into certain beliefs, simple beliefs. The essence of the belief is that the world should be run by the best and brightest, that is the true top of the organization of the world that we are entering. The world that they seek is one based on Plato's concepts and I am Aristotelian.
I am definitely getting old. 33 years ago someone attempted to recruit me into academia. He was a Professor Emeritus with Harvard, internationally known and a very wonderful person. He was also one of my professors and I did not attend Harvard. He was brilliant and intellectually sincere. He made every effort to be fair and objective in his thinking and I miss him dearly. Here I was a filthy young punk, I washed somedays; but, not all of them. I was rude and crude and brutally honest. I was also incredibly original in my answers and was discussed by all of the Professors in the Political Science department; but, love me or hate me, this one Professor who headed the department liked me. It was one of his references that guaranteed me into graduate school. His reference alone would have gotten me into any college I wanted and he was pleased to give it. References were not an issue for me and I didn't even need those, I was asked to apply to my doctoral program by the college itself.
I am not bragging, I am trying to explain a system. My professors wanted me to become a professor, they were pleased to know that I did not wish to practice law; but, disappointed that I wished to be a practitioner, they thought I had more to offer. Lets think about that for a moment. They believed that I could influence people to implement the policies I believed in and that it was the best way to influence the world. That is the philosophy of academia, it is sort of subversive and very much in line with Plato. They believe the world should be run by the best and the brightest and that is what all secret societies believe. All of them.
At a cocktail party at his house the Professor quizzed me. He asked me if I thought the world should be run by the best suited. It was a test, I have had many tests in my life. I told him that I thought the best and brightest should run the world; but, that I believed in democracy. I do not believe that we can possibly identify the best and the brightest and that people naturally favor their own offspring, I am in agreement with Aristotle. We cannot have the perfect form of government as all degrade into sell serving oligarchies. I believe that we should have as many people involved in decision making as possible, I believe in the most important marketplace of all, the marketplace of free expression of ideas.
The greatest threat to oligarchies is knowledge. True understanding by those who do not benefit from the system that is designed to benefit a few. We would like to think that the system benefits people as they contribute to it, that is the Platonic vision; but, it does not and will not, we will never see an oligarchy of the best and the brightest. God appoints our leaders and they are hired hands who do not care about the sheep. That is what the bible says and the evidence is all around us. All who wish to control others are arrogant and selfish, they have no faith in God and believe man can do better. We have not done so yet and will not. If you keep doing the same thing and expecting a different response, you are living a life of insanity.
I do hope this gives you something to enjoy and listen to and spend some time with when you are bored. I try and be entertaining. Peace.

Garbage in the news.
Isn't it funny how everyone of our institutions is being shown to be corrupt? People who never even cared about how the world works are suddenly concerned. That is the real trick, you have to destroy what exists before you can replace it. My brother is really smart and understands people. When I told him that my ex had asked for a divorce, he asked if she was cheating on me. I said that she was with another and he something really funny, he said that people don't leave until they already have a landing spot, someone else.
This is not about my ex, lol. This is about how you completely change your life. You pick where you are going before you give up on where you are. As we watch all the institutions fail, understand that the people leading this change already know where they want us to go. Focus on the infrastructure and you will know where they think we are going.
CNBC - The Myth of the Overpaid American CEO. It is a nonsense article that claims that CEOs should be paid more than the owners of the company or the workers. Pay is a type of tax. If a company makes 10% more each year, who should benefit? The stockholders, the CEO and management team, the workers. Does it matter where the increase in value came from, what if all of the increase was due to the workers? Who should benefit or should all benefit or should only some benefit? If I increase what you make by 10%, should I benefit at least 10% of my salary or maybe 10% of the total benefit. I am discussing capitalism. What does it really mean and what does it mean if we allow slavery and will it work if we actually reward who benefits us as they benefit us?
Federal Reserve Chairman Greenspan, it is reported, believe in Ayn Rand and completely uncontrolled markets. He is claimed to have believed that even fraud was okay and that it would all work itself out. Ayn Rand sort of believe in Satanism, Aleister Crowley (the most famous Satanist) said that the whole law was "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law". Greenspan seems to agree and Ayn Rand certainly did. Funny, they believe in no restrictions on themselves and plenty of restrictions on workers. If it is okay for the owners of a large bank to cheat people, is it okay for their employees to cheat them? I bet they would say that it is not.
CNBC - Markets Sigh in Relief on Bernanke Comments. And what were his comments, pretty simple, as you as you don't hire people, you can keep making easy money. He won't stop giving away free money as long as American businesses don't hire.
Press TV - Britain hands Libor rate supervision to New York Stock Exchange. We are going to turn over the setting of interest rates from proven criminals and insiders to a new group that has been proven to manipulate markets. You will accept international control over setting these rates because you will not trust your own and they cannot be trusted.

A Comment I received regarding Pastor Carol Daniels case
I received the following anonymous comment regarding the case.
"I think the victim was in the burning newspaper office the night the newspaper building was burned. That's how her hair got burned, perhaps she knew why they were burning the newspaper building-because people wanted to hide something the newspaper had documented for years: namely, the sale of alloted Native American lands that had been owned and sold without their knowledge. Confiscated by people from churches records of those NA who were christians and they had names of family members who were baptized and buried in the area. Lands used for Oil and Gas leases and sold for millions of dollars to bidders from Oil companies. I went to a church in the area until I married and moved away, the preacher kept the name of the church at the Tax Commission in OK in my fathers name since he was a founding member and he was Native American."
I have not and will not post the whole comment as it makes allegations about people and I have no way to substantiate it and the allegations are unrelated to Pastor Daniels. I do not know who sent the comments; however, it is the second time they have contacted me.
I want to make it clear that I do not find these allegations in any way related to Pastor Daniels. Should the person return to read this post I want them to understand that it has never been alleged in anything I have read that Pastor Daniels was even in the town when the fire was set a day or two earlier and it has absolutely nothing to do with what was done to Pastor Daniels based on either the autopsy or any other reports I have read.
Prior to reading about Pastor Daniels I knew absolutely nothing about Anadarko. Since then I have been contacted by a couple of people who lived there and have read a little about it. I cannot dispute what the commentator says about land being stolen from christian indians in the area; however, I also have no reason to believe that the church Pastor Daniels led had any Indians in it as the church seems to have been an African American church and from all accounts only had a couple of elderly members still attending on occasion.
To the person who sent me the comment. I cannot publish unsubstantiated claims against specific individuals regarding land theft or any other crime. Even if you sent me the name of a suspect in the death of Pastor Daniels, I would not publish it without proof and probably not even then, I would forward it to the OSBI. When looking at the case I had wondered if there might be a monetary reason and even considered whether or not someone might have wanted to get the church building; but, the building was leveled and made a the land was made a memorial to the Pastor.
I have been contacted by Pastor Daniels family in the past and I truly believe that if they knew the reason she was killed they would be all over it. I also read that the OSBI went as far away as Chicago to investigate this case and it is still a very open case and has not been closed out.
To the commenter. Here is what we do know, Pastor Daniels arrived on Sunday (video from nearby showed her arrive and her car parked in front of the church). Sometime later, two people came by to see her and found the front door closed and locked. They contacted the police and Pastor Daniels was found dead. Her body was found displayed on the ground in the crucified position. She had been attacked with some sort of blade or knife. Something had been used to destroy DNA evidence and there is good reason to believe that something had been written on the back door. There is every reason to believe that the person(s) who killed her entered and exited through the back door. I have not read of any motive for the crime. There have been no reports of anything being stolen from the church or from Pastor Daniels.
It is just shy of four years since the Pastor was killed. In all that time there has been practically nothing new revealed. In the beginning of the investigation a homeless person was questioned (turned out that he lied) and a metal band was investigated that had played a concert the night before (with nothing found again). Anadarko residents do not appear to have much faith in the police. It seems to be a small town with racial sensitivity and questionable actions regarding property and the treatment of people who don't fit in.
I am going to link to a YouTube video regarding the memorial that was placed for her. At the end of the video they provide a phone number for anyone who has any evidence.

I want to be clear, if anyone has any evidence and does not wish to contact the OSBI, they can send it to me and I will forward the information; but, I will not post it here and I have yet to receive anything compelling. Some things we can assume. The person who killed the Pastor knew the area well and knew that she would probably be alone. They prepared, this was not a crime of passion, they planned it out in advance and managed to avoid being seen on the cameras in the area. They were so confident that they could get away from it that they were not bothered by the fact that the police station was a block away. It is highly unlikely that this was done by a serial killer or someone just passing through town. I have not read about any similar killings since and I look for updates periodically as I did today.
It is very possible that Pastor Daniels had seen her murderer in the past. It is even possible the person may have spoken to her in the church in the past. I would hope that the OSBI had reviewed videos from prior Sundays that may have been kept by the businesses in the area. It is utter insanity to believe that someone just accidentally found the church and accidentally chose to enter through the back door and was unconcerned knowing that the police station was mere feet away and didn't care. It is possible that the person was the same one that started the fire in the dumpster a day or two earlier, it is possible that they attended the heavy metal concert (the band has been cleared); but, the crime was planned well in advance and she was not selected at random.
Should any of Pastor Daniels family read this, my prayers and thoughts continue to go out to you. I personally contacted the OSBI a couple of years back and gave them my personal information as you may or may not know. They have never contacted me; but, I am sure they checked me out. If I ever receive any information that appears relevant I will of course send it to them; but, I would never say that I had and regrettably, I have not ever been sent any comments with any information that was related.
