Climate Change or Poor Forest Management by Governors

In 2010 the California legislature ordered a report on forest management. The resulting report showed that the prohibitions on forest harvesting resulted in increased fires and trees being killed by increased disease and insects. Forbes - Wildfires caused by bad environmental policy are causing California to be net CO2 emitters. 

Well lets ask a question. If Gavin Newsom knew that the forests were at risk for increased fires (regardless of whether or not he thought the cause was global warming) then why didn't he increase the focus on forest management and allow for more forest harvesting? If Newsom and Cuomo believe the oceans are going to rise, why aren't they investing in programs to protect the coastal areas?

So what is Trump doing about it? His administration is proposing a billion dollar plan to improve forest management in California, which incidentally will decrease CO2 emissions. Breitbart - Newsom takes Trump's advice : Agrees to 1 billion dollar forest management plan to prevent wildfires. 

So why has it taken so long to decide on managing California's forests? Let's talk about CO2. In 2016 China was the top emitter producing almost 1/3rd of the worlds manmade CO2 and doubling that produced in the United States. The total CO2 emissions were estimated at almost 36 million tons. At the same time, China planned to build over a thousand new coal powered electrical generating plants and doubling their CO2 emissions. Once completed, China will produce over half of the worlds CO2. At the same time, the United States and the western world have been reducing their CO2 emissions. This means ALL of our efforts to reduce emissions is meaningless. Why isn't Newsom talking about this? Why isn't Biden talking about this? Why isn't AOC discussing this? She thinks we will all be dead in ten years if America doesn't stop eating meat and using plastic straws and doesn't discuss China at all.

Political divisions, family and friends

 I don't believe I have ever given much background on myself on this blog. I have been fascinated by government since elementary school, got my Bachelors in Political Science, my Doctorate in Law and spent half my life in government. My political views are not defined by any party and I would describe myself in shorthand as a European style social democrat. I am also a strong believer in national sovereignty and despise monopolies while I appreciate managed capitalism. I stopped voting years ago; but, followed the last presidential election and hoped that either Trump or Sanders would win to shake up the establishment and get them to see how pissed people were after the financial crisis.

Since the 2016 election I have seen the establishment attempt to overturn democracy in the United States and have seen the media be complicit in this. I did not vote for Trump and don't plan on voting in this election either. The majority of my family and friends are conservative; but, they never attack me for my left leaning political views. At the same time, I cannot discuss my political views with my liberal family and friends because they have no tolerance for views that differ from the established Democrat talking points.

When people first began discussing Trump Derangement Syndrome, I thought it was a joke. I now know it is real. When people that think they are on the left start calling blacks for Trump white supremacist's or calling gays for Trump, homophobes. We have a problem.

I look around and read all news from all sides and am astounded. There are many who think that everything that is bad was caused by Trump. This is derangement and distracts from the real issues. I say, Trump, Muslims, Jews, gays, blacks, Mexicans, the homeless, junkies and the working class did not crash the economy, cause the housing crisis, create Covid 19, fix the financial markets or cause the market crash or get us into 7 wars.

In my posts I try to point to the real criminals are the international institutions and corporations that control the nations and their political leaders. Having said that, before we can begin addressing the real threats to this nation, we need to begin to have open dialogue and unfortunately I do not see that coming from the left. Do Democrats really plan to overthrow the government?

I find it hard to believe just how far some are willing to go to end this presidency. We are seeing Democratic mayors allowing for continued riots in the streets, the intimidation of Republicans in the streets and in their homes. We have heard them openly state that Biden should not concede under ANY conditions and many Democrats saying that the military should be used to remove Trump from office.

After the last presidential election we saw Democrats call for cheating at the electoral college and for Trump to be impeached prior to his actual swearing in and president. Now some are calling for states to separate from the federal government if Trump wins. This is the single greatest threat to Democracy since the civil war.

Here is what you can expect. Expect to see Antifa illegally outside of polling places to intimidate voters. Expect to see the police and possibly national guard called in to protect voting and expect to see the media decry the protection of voters. These are truly disturbing times with globalist forces and global corporations seeking to end democracy in the United States.

Peaceful protestors? Not anymore, accomplices to murder.

 Lets be honest. Righteous and peaceful protests about the murder of George Floyd ended long ago. The cops involved are being prosecuted. These protests are not about justice or seeing cops prosecuted, they are not protests, they are opportunistic events for other reasons. Those who commit no crimes; but, provide cover for criminals are accessories to the arson and criminality that occurs. Those who claim to be decent and not involved; but, go out at night to view and enjoy the anarchy are as guilty as those who actually commit the criminal acts. If you are offended by indiscriminate crime, don't go into the areas where these things are happening and it will end quickly. You are useful idiots. We are told that only a small percent of those involved in these protests are actually violent, so stop providing them cover and lets see how few there are.

Why are some committing political suicide

Some simple things to consider. The number one contributor to state and local elections is the real estate industry (realtors, mortgage brokers, developers...). Other large contributors include police, fire and public labor unions. Small businesses also contribute heavily to local politicians. Knowing this one must ask why mayors in Democratic cities have openly turned their backs on these same people and allow these riots and closures of businesses? 

So, which of these groups is going to contribute to the re-election of any of these Mayors, councilmembers or governors who shut down their cities and states and want to eliminate the police? You can expect to see many of these local politicians to be voted out and they know it. Begs the question, if these local politicians are ignoring the will of their residents and contributors, who is going to economically support them? You will know who they were working for after they lose their next election, just watch who they go to work for.
