I will post tonight
My apologies to all. I have had a hectic last two weeks which ended with me going to court over my divorce on Friday. I will post tonight and have been collecting links to articles that may interest my readers.

Bad week for me, lets talk about the news.
I apologize for not having written more. It was a lousy week and I was very busy. I have however been keeping an eye on the news as best I could.
Mirror - Child abuse cops seize VIP list: Politicians, MI5 agent, Royal aide and pop stars all named. The reported pedophile, child molester, Jimmy Saville of England is still causing a ripple in Britain. It turns out that is a list of people involved in pedophilia and some are famous and in the government.
Bloomberg Business Week - Neanderthal Babies All Around: Synthetic Biology Is Closer Than You Think. Read this article and think about what they are proposing. They are proposing to make a human-Neanderthal hybrid for real. Would it have human rights or would we give rights to all non-humans?
I listened to a bunch of YouTube videos about the economy today. One of them went into something that I wrote about at the time, it was about how the Federal Reserve is buying up all the mortgage backed securities as part of QE3. I am astounded by how the mainstream media has avoided this issue or put it in a positive light.
Now I will end this transmission by telling you all a story. When I was 14, I used to run the sound system for my Junior High School, I was also the stage manager. I was quite the stage guy and even ran the arc lights. When I was 13 I ran the sound for the graduation of the 15 year olds. The Vice Principal gave a speech at the graduation. A year later, she gave the exact same speech. LOL. Each graduating class was given the exact same speech, the exact same stories and the exact same propaganda. It was a show and a tool of indoctrination. I was a good stage manager and I know a show when I see it, heck, I have put them on. I asked the VP about her giving the same speech every year, she was surprised that I listened to any of them and explained that they were all the same, the message was what mattered. That is the definition of propaganda.

Guns and Gays
You have to love that title. Which word got your attention the most, it says a lot about you. Now I will say how I feel about both. I grew up with guns in the house and learned to shoot and became a very good shot. I am excellent with both hand guns and shotguns. I am not as good with a rifle because of my eyesight. I grew up with friends making fun of gays and not even really understanding them. I was never anti-anyone and as I met people who came out in High School, I just never cared. A friend is a friend. We called people faggots for being wimps, not for their sexuality. I am going to get to the gun thing. People sure are making a big deal out of gay marriage, gays can have contracts too and marriage is a contract.
Guns. Lots of talk about gun control. If you are a Christian then you are to obey the government. We are referred to as slaves and sheep by God and Jesus. The idea of a Christian shooting other people so that he can keep his guns is completely Un-Biblical, it is Constitutional; but, we are to report to a higher ideal and authority. There is a story of a church in China. The military came in and told everyone that they would have to say that they renounced Christ or would be killed. They asked who wanted to come up first and young girl raised her hand. She walked up before them and said she would never renounce Christ. They had expected an older person to come up and then would have shot them in the head in front of the rest, it didn't work out that way and they did not kill anyone that day. If the majority of this nation is really Christian then when we don't need any guns, all we have to do is sit down and nothing works.
Now, here is the real question. Are you more upset that there are gays in the world or that there are guns in the world? Let us now look at the choices. Outlaw gay marriage and gun ownership. Outlaw gay marriage and allow people to have any weapon they want. Allow gay marriage and outlaw guns. Which of the three do you choose. Now eliminate the one you chose and pick between the remaining two, that says where your heart is.
We give away our rights while we fight over preventing others from having their rights. I do not find homosexuality appealing personally and I preach to many gays. I also do not find clubbing to be very attractive or indiscriminate sex or many things. I am straight and always have been, if I found homosexuality attractive then I would not be straight; but, that does not mean I have to hate gays and I don't. I would hate to think that gays were required to hate me because I am straight and I know many who actually love me and I love them.
I am disappointed in people who call themselves Christians and are willing to kill to keep their guns. I read the ten commandments, it said that thou shall not kill. It did not say that thou shall not have sex with the same sex. Homosexuality did not make the top ten; but, killing did. If you believe there is a hierarchy in sin, then shouldn't you trust in God and believe killing is higher on the list than homosexuality. He wrote the ten after all.
I have members of our church that are gay and read this blog. I have friends that are gay and read this blog. I say what I mean and I mean what I say. I believe we were designed to be with the opposite sex, we were designed to go forth and procreate in the manner that we are designed to. I believe we were designed to be with one other person, that we all have a soul mate of the opposite sex. I also believe that we can love people of the same sex, I loved my father and love my brother and I love many other men; but, not sexually.
They will ask me if homosexuality is a sin and I tell them it is, it is imperfection and we are all imperfect. Then the next statement from me is can you at least avoid violating the ten commandments and not kill anyone? Now, if you claim to believe in Christ, tell me that soldiers who kill people can go to heaven and gays cannot. I preach to gays, I preach soldiers, I will preach to anyone that shows up. There is one church that protests at the gravesites of soldiers and they are ridiculed. I also disagree with them; but, at the least they try and promote the ten commandments. What church refuses to allow in anyone who has killed, whether at war or not? How many churches keep out gays and allow in people who have killed?
I could into church this Sunday and call them all faggots (though there are many straight people also) or call them all killers. I could explain what I meant by both the terms. Which is a bigger sin to overcome if you believe there is a hierarchy of sin? If you believe the bible, if you believe we are all sinful, would you be gay or a killer? Neither does not work, pick between the two. I do not like either, I would be gay than kill someone. To the "fags" that read my site, I love you. To the people who have killed, I love you. I love God and he tells me to love everyone, that we are all flawed and all matter. You matter, the truth is inside you and the truth is that we all matter. It is for God to judge how much we cared about ourselves and how much we cared about others, I don't know those answers. I know none of us are perfect except God.

This is the TTIIY News for January 15th, 2013
Life is really hectic for the Pimpernel right now and I find myself spending time doing things I had not anticipated. One of the things happened today, a co-worker who I have known for about 21 years needed some help on a project. It was no big deal for me at all, I had all the facts and information because it involved something I am passionate about within my industry.
Well we started talking and she started crying. I assured her that we could the assignment and that I knew all the answers off the top of my head. It turned out that there was something else going on. I bought her a cup of coffee and we discussed life for a few hours. The young lady has had a rough few years and it all sort of caught up on her. That happens to all of us sometimes. I would not say that this lady and I are close, the did not know all that had happened to me and I did not know all that had happened to her. I would say that we are on friendly terms and we had a good conversation, she had a chance to look at some things that I had also experienced.
That is not the news, that is the moral of the story, the news stories follow. We live moment to moment and person to person. This lady was hurting and I knew I could help and so I did, just two co-workers helping one another and catching up. As you read these news stories remember the most important thing is how we treat one another.
Mail Online - Owe a friend some money? Just pay them with a text: New scheme could make transferring cash as simple as sending a message. The article is from the Mail Online because the London Times charges to read it. Once again it is about how you will only have electronic money. England is preparing to launch a bank authorized manner for texting your friends money. People will love it, they will have an electronic proof of who owes them and how much. Heck, the government can even tax the monetary gifts you make to friends.
Mail Online - Did Google Street View car run over a donkey? Camera car appears to hit animal on dirt road in Botswana. Okay, I didn't originally read the article in the Mail, I was just to lazy to remember where I saw it. I think it was Yahoo. It doesn't really matter. The story is about how Google may have run over a donkey while filming all the worlds roads for their Street View program. What is really interesting is what the road was that they were filming. The road is in Africa, in Botswana and it is a DIRT ROAD. Now ask yourself this simple question, "What makes any economic sense to be filming dirt roads in the middle of nowhere for a poverty stricken African country? Maybe they are done, has Google filmed every inch of the world yet?
Fox News - Associated Press - Report: German central bank to repatriate part of its massive gold reserves from US, France. Germany is taking its God back. It has stored it for years in both Paris and the United States. In fact, the United States stores the gold for much of the world in New York. Moving this much gold is going to be very expensive and risky. The gold will most likely need to be moved by ships and ships sink. It will also be very difficult to transfer gold between nations as is now done, it is just moved from one countries vault to another. What is Germany expecting? Or worse yet, what is it that it fears?
Yahoo News - Satanists planning rally for Florida Gov. Rick Scott. I personally am against school sponsored prayer. I do believe it is constitutional as the founding fathers practiced it, school was also voluntary back then. Community schools were paid for directly by the community and the teachers taught what the community found acceptable and you didn't have to send your kid to school. We don't live in that environment and I don't want Atheists or Muslims or Satanists teaching my kids their prayers and I don't feel a need to have Christians teach their views to non-Christians. I believe everyone has a right to pray; but, I don't believe anyone should be forced to listen.
Well, that is my news update. As an old newscaster used to say, "From the desert, to the sea to all of Southern California" that is the news. Remember this, whatever the big news story of the day is usually the least important being blown up for ratings.

Bye bye cash in Europe
A statement and a few questions. Cash transactions in Europe are about to be limited to 500 Euros, you cannot pay your rent with that and can barely make your car payment. Think abut that, you will be required to pay your rent electronically. Think about how much information you are giving up to the cloud, to the electronic trail that you leave behind. In Sweden it will be all your information as they are going completely cashless and if you think you can just write a check. Nope, I previously reported how Britain was eliminating checks in two years, I believe.
etathimerinie.com - Cash transactions ceiling is set to drop to 500 euros. This is from a Greek website.
Wired - The Internet of Things Has Arrived — And So Have Massive Security Issues. I have already written on this. It is now the reason that your biometrics will be necessary to access the internet. You wouldn't want someone turning on and off your appliances remotely, now would you?
Did you read this one? Wired - In the Coming Age of the Connected Home, Your Phone Will Be a Magic Wand
. It is from today and something I continually write about. First it will be your phone and then your face alone and someone else's phone. All you Harry Potter fans will love having a magic wand that makes everything work the way you want.
Fox News - Watchdog calls tax code 'unconscionable burden,' asks Congress to reform system. Here is a conservative web site calling for an end to all deductions, who are they are trying to take advantage of? Here is my description of fairness, tax everyone at the same rate with no deductions; but, tax all income, not savings, income.
While I personally do not believe in a high amount of inherited income, I can live with it. Whether one makes their money from work, inheritance, stock or anything else, tax it all at the same rate. If you make a lot or a little tax it at the same rate; but, not if you make less than the poverty level and don't tax welfare or social security, we set the amount, just set it lower. I am against the sales tax, tax the income and leave it at that. Tax us as we benefit from the system and don't tax those who don't.

IOT, do you know that term?
IOT means the "internet of things". It is the state of being whereby everything is somehow electronically telling on you. Your trash creation (they do that in England), your use of your toilet, your purchases right down to the type of product. I started seeing this talked about only in the last few months, this new term for it. When I first saw it used I just thought it was a description of the obvious.
Wired - The Internet of Things Has Arrived — And So Have Massive Security Issues
The article just assumes that there will be an internet of things because there already is. Lets say that you drink a six pack of beer a night. You go to the store and buy two six packs and snacks. An algorithm would assume you had a friend coming by to watch the football game going on that night. Which appliances you use could tell us something about you.
Now, what if you didn't fit any acceptable electronic footprint? Someone would need to investigate such a thing. That is just human nature.

Interesting Stuff from a Lazy Writer
Now, if we are all going to live in smaller spaces and put up with it, you must have the illusion that you are not in a jail cell. We can accomplish that, check out the video from Microsoft.
YouTube - IllumiRoom Projects Images Beyond Your TV for an Immersive Gaming Experience.
Something else I have discussed is also on display in Las Vegas this week at the big computer convention. Yahoo News - Could Eye-Tracking Replace Your Mouse? There is a nice video that shows how well it works. Your phone, computer and television will all be watching your eyes in the future. The data it retrieves will be used to determine what you were really interested in.
While I was reading the news tonight I came across this disturbing little article. It is from a website called "mydailymoment.com". The website seems to be aimed at women and talks about love and health and beauty. It seems quaint enough; but, there is another side to it. Here is one of their newer articles - The Pros and Cons of One-Night Stands. The number one benefit it lists for having sex with a stranger is that you can have "Mind-blowing Sex". It goes on to claim it can be a big ego boost, that you can be "liberated" in bed and finally that it can be good for helping you to later have a serious relationship. As concerns it mentions that you might get a disease, you might become depressed or you might become attached to the person. You understand becoming attached to a person is a bad thing. The article then tells you how to properly go about having a one night stand and suggests you never use your real name.
When you look at these technologies and morality tales, we seem to be headed to a world where we live in a virtual imitation of life and rather than have in person relationships, we are to have meaningless sex with meaningless people while having our real relationships be online and virtual and safe.
So, let me tell you the planned future. Ten years from now, people in their 20s will be happy to live in 250 square foot apartments. They will be able to travel where they want virtually in an immersive environment that is anywhere you want to go to and any type of universe you wish to live in. You will communicate real time with other people from all over the world in your language. You will find love in people that you cannot be with in person; but, have sex with people who don't matter to you and it will be okay with everyone involved.
Now here is the real question you should be asking yourself. What will the world look like when people tell their secrets to people they don't know in person and trust their heart to people they don't know in person while sleeping with people they do know in person; but, at best they know their name.
Here is the thing I learned in my life, touch matters. We need the human touch, we need a touch that says that we matter because we do and a strangers touch cannot convey that because we don't to them. Remember the best touch you have ever felt in life, nothing can compare, it soothes and comforts and conveys that you matter. We used to long for a chance just to hold another's hand. Young people don't understand or know that anymore.
There is nothing as intimate and more importantly revealing, as having sex with someone. It goes beyond the pleasure, it encompasses all of our senses. Our sense of taste, sight, sound, touch and most importantly smell. Our smell memories are the strongest memories of all senses. That is a fact.
YouTube - John Denver - Annie's Song .
There is a lady that reads my blog, she is not listed as a follower. She watched me get in trouble once for arguing against promiscuous sex. My opinion has not changed. I believe that sex can be one of the greatest demonstrations of true love. I believe that we can become the most attached when sight, sound, smell, taste and touch of our significant others invades us and unites us as one. Or, at least can be that way if we let it.
What becomes of the human experience if it ceases being human and about humans? What is our life about when it is just about living a fantasy? What does it mean if you willingly put yourself in the matrix? We are knowingly and willingly building a "Matrix" world to live in.
