I used to draw, long before I got arthritis I used to draw a lot. I have very few of my pictures left; but, I found two and thought I might post them. My son-in-laws are artists. One of them is a professional artist who works with video games and slot machine art. He is an amazing artist and certainly much better than I ever was. I am going to guess that the first picture was done between 1976 and 1978, it is of the actress Linda Purl. The second is of actress Nastassja Kinski and was probably done between 1978 and 1982. I apologize for the poor quality of the scans, the pictures were done on normal typewriter paper and have faded over the years. I hope you enjoy them anyways.
Linda Purl is above.
Ms. Kinski
It is for the viewer to decide if I did any good.

Dear Anonymous 1/19/16,
Thank you so much for the compliment. It was nice to see my old drawings again.
Loved me some Linda Pearl...pretty good bud !
Dear sizzlingcell,
Thank you for the compliment. Since around age 20 my hands have been failing more and more from arthritis due to my gymnastics. I was supposed to get them replaced with plastic when I was about 35 and by typing I have kept them limber, while regardless of what I do they are in constant pain. I don't take anything for it but have not been able to draw since around 30, nothing since. It frustrates me as I vastly improved my skills after these drawings were made in my teens. I hope my son in laws can see them as the only picture they have ever seen of my work was something I did when I was 12, it is comic piece where I imitated the art of others in a collage representing Nixon and Agnew on motorcycles riding through images of things from the 1960s. I did it on the back of a grocery bag and never meant to finish it. The only reason it exists at all is because I used it on a table I built (one of my worst pieces of cabinet making ever as it was only meant to test a wood stain and coating, that was new when I tested it for the manufacturer, to see if it would remain clear and I didn't know if it would. It was a favor for a friend and I didn't want to test it on anything that mattered. I still have it, the product has lasted 40+ years on the cheapest plywood and Douglas fur that one could use. LOL. I used better wood on the bongs I made in high school for friends (they all paid in advance and nobody ever complained about the pieces made for them and have passed them down in families). I hate the fact that the one piece my son in laws have seen is that table and not my best stuff in wood or art. They said they liked it and that they never knew I could draw.
