I did not watch it, I watched something entertaining instead. I didn't watch it because I already know that I don't want either of them to ever be president. I wrote about them weeks ago and nothing has changed. It also does not matter. Presidential debates rarely effect the outcome and Vice Presidential debates almost never. You might want to know that both Vice Presidential candidates favor the free trade deals and tax rules that benefit companies that outsource to other countries, I have no use for either of them.
What I did watch afterwards was The Young Turks (a socialist website that wants Hillary to win; but, would have preferred Sanders) and Stephen Colbert on tonight's show. The Democratic VP, Kaine, must have done really badly because even they conceded that Kaine did a really bad job. Truth is, it doesn't matter, I doubt many watched or that it will effect the outcome of the race. Let's say Kaine did the worst ever and Pence did the best ever, will that change your vote? Do you really believe it will change anyone's? If the Presidential debate between did not change anyone's opinion then why would you believe the VP one would? It won't matter.
The reality is that the corporate media is attempting to kill Trump with the death of a thousand cuts and it is not working. Hillary and Trump are tied and according to the LA Times and USC Trump is actually ahead. The media response is to say that online polls conducted by CNN and others pushing an agenda make this a fuzzy issue or that Hillary is still in front, she is not. I don't have the readership to move the dial on this election, I am focused on showing how the media attempts to manipulate the outcome and the reasons why they care.
The media is now owned by multinational corporations. Start with that whenever you try and analyze what is in their interest to promote. The six companies that own 90% of all the mass media are better off when they promote open borders and free trade agreements FOCUSED ON COPYWRITE LAW. The trade agreements give an advantage to American companies by increasing copyright protection; but in exchange they give an advantage to foreign companies when it comes to manufacturing.
UPDATE:
Here is the full debate.
YouTube - The Vice-Presidential Debate: Tim Kaine And Mike Pence (Full Debate) | NBC News.
Well, even though it does not matter, I can see why even the liberals did not like Kaine's performance. Watch the video, the moderator was horrible, she interrupted Pence while answering and as he was being interrupted by Kaine. Wow. Kaine for his part represented his position and self very badly. I don't like Pence because of his position on trade; but, he did a much better job than Kaine. I still don't believe that the debates change how people are going to vote; but, Pence did well.I don't expect the media to waste much time on this debate only because of how badly Kaine did. Still doesn't matter. People have made up their mind about who they support and additional media lies and spin are unlikely to effect the outcome.
Let me simplify this election, this election is about people who think they have been getting taken advantage for years and whether or not you can convince them that trying to change things is worse than going along with being screwed. People want change, Hillary offers none. That is what this election is about.
