Recently someone asked me for the name of my blog and I told them. |The truth is inside you blogspot. It has never changed. For a decade if you searched for Pastor Carol Daniels, I was always one of the first returns. Hmmm. If search on Bing, Yahoo or Duck Duck Go, searching either for "The truth is inside you" or "Pastor Carol Daniels" and I an the site you will find. Search either on Google and I have disappeared. I don't write about crime usually, I do not allow profanity on this blog, in a decade it has never been monitized and have never received a strike or a complaint to blogger.

I was destroy this blog for the third and final time a few years back. I thought I had nothing left to say. The only reason I left it up was because it was a place for people to see all the articles on the Pastor. Members of her family reached out to me and it broke my brain. They wanted to thank me. I was not trying to solve a crime, I don't do crime posts, just look at what I do write about. Her death effected me because of her commitment and the bad police work. I thought her story deserved to be told, so I told it. If you use Google searches you will no longer find my ten years worth of posts or updates about Pastor Daniels. It is not because of my posts about her, it is because of my political posts.

I dare you. Search on Bing, Yahoo and DuckDuckGo for for "Pastor Carol Daniels" or "The truth is inside you blogspot" and this blog will come up number one or two. Now do it on Google. Try it out and then understand that Google censors search results and apparently, this blog dont count. You are being controlled and the information you receive is being manipulated by Google. Dont use them for your searches.

The Globalism of Bullshit.

As corporations become international and have more power than individual nations, the amount of bullshit we hear is ever increasing. We are seeing it and need to recognize it regardless of the outcomes we want. We need to look at things based on facts.

Let me start with a hard one. The international focus on George Floyd has nothing to do with him or who he was. He was one guy killed by one cop. He wasn't a European, yet there are protests all over Europe about his death and the countries of Europe. Apparently, now I am to kneel in disgrace because some asshole that was white killed Floyd. F that. I guess if I don't, I am a racist asshole. F that too. I have spent over 10 years reminding people about the death of a black, female pastor because nobody else would. In college I met some African students, they hated other blacks because of their tribes. LOL. There are many whites that hate Jews and blacks that hate Jews and Asians that hate Jews. Hate is so simple, pick a group to hate in total and you are a bigot. Notice I didn't say racist, a bigot does not differentiate within a group. All good and all bad.

Lets look at science. ROFL. Recently we were told that a major scientific study proved hydroxychloroquine was bad and deadly. The people that said that ended up having to admit, they never read the study. For the past decade we have been told global warming is a fact and to deny it is science denial. Well, science requires experiments to prove your point and none have been provided. That is not science, they use math "models" based on unproven guesses and haven't predicted one year or even one decade right yet.

The US spent three years investigating to see if Trump was working for Putin. LMAO. Whatever my opinion of Trump is, he isn't anybody's puppet. He is his own type of asshole. Now it has come out all of the people involved in Trump-Russia investigation said they had no reason for believing it, they just thought it was possible based on nothing.

Ten plus years ago I told people the housing market was going to crash, then I told them the hour and the day and the year the stock market would crash. I was dead on both times. I know what is coming in general.

When all media speaks in lock-step, know you are being manipulated. The absolute worse hell is solitary confinement for eternity. That is no longer possible, Jesus fixed that. The second worse hell is an eternity filled by hatred. That is the one humans face now.

Poor people die on a daily basis and few care. Rich people pay to have stars suck their dXXXs by celebrities' on the Riviera. People don't believe in God or eternity so they believe in self and the here and now. The world is going to get stranger and stranger and stranger. How much time has the media spent discussing the locust or upcoming famine in Africa and Asia? Almost none. We should be preparing for the famine in those areas; but, we cannot discuss that because a cop killed someone.

My answer is quite simple, love your neighbor as yourself or go to hell. It is a choice, not a curse. Live in nothing but hatred or live in love. Preaching moment.

August 23, 2009 Pastor Carol Daniels Died.

August 23, 2009 Pastor Carol Daniels was killed in her church during Sunday service. In July of 2010, I became aware of her murder. before; but, expected someone to be caught. I sort of loosely followed it as I do many things. On July 10, 2010 I decided to write about it. I may have written prior; but, I destroyed all my prior blogs. This is the third generation of this blog. The other two are long gone

As this blog had served it's original purpose I intended to end it forever. One day I prepared to delete all posts and write no more; but, there was a problem. Turned out that people came to this blog, not my regular readers; but, people came specifically to read my few posts about Pastor Daniels. It messed my head up, not the intent of this blog to discuss crime.

I have only ever driven through or flown over Oklahoma. The people were nice enough at the restaurant I ate at. I just didn't like the place and tornadoes scare me, I don't mind earthquakes. I don't understand tornadoes. Somewhere in the early 2000s we drove my dad back from the east to California after my mother had died. We drove through Oklahoma and I saw a tornado, we drove till we were out of the state. I didn't know anything about Pastor Daniels church or denomination. The only thing I knew was that the police were clueless and not thinking about the most obvious clues. The Oklahoma media was worse, they sensationalized the more gruesome aspects and ignored the facts. I had seen this before with the BTK killer. He killed in Kansas and they originally sought a Hispanic man, turned out they were looking for his first victim and not him. They were convinced BTK was not one of them, just like the Oklahoma police. Cops are people and few are trained investigators.

Because so many people seemed interested, I gave updates. That may have been a mistake on my part. I became one of the most referenced people in regards to the murder. Read the last year of my blog, it is mostly politics and has been for over four years. I was going to finally end my blogging and two things happened. The people that read only about Pastor Daniels contacted me, not knowing I was going to end the blog and the people that read everything else asked to me to keep about everything else. I decided to delete everything except the stuff about Pastor Daniels and leave it a dead site. If you don't kill a thing completely it comes back and this blog did. I kept writing. My posts about Pastor Daniels don't make up 1% of my posts. This blog is not monetized nor advertised so I have never made a penny from it, not one, not ever a free meal or cup of coffee.

My life has changed a lot since I started following this case. When a member of her family contacted me I had a meltdown. It fried my brain, I didn't understand why they would bother contacting me. The sad truth is, nobody else was following after the initial reports other than me and eventually Websleuths. I have received more comments from people than anyone else regarding this case. I personally told the OSBI they were free to monitor my site for anything related to the case including comments. I have never been personally contacted by the OSBI or the FBI or the local Oklahoma police about anything.

This post is not so much about Pastor Daniels yet. It is only August 9th and I will not post until the 23rd. I am hoping I will have an update, I am hoping the Oklahoma media will post about her death's anniversary. Whether they do or don't I will post this to remind people that a good woman died to the hands of a butcher who has yet to be identified.

To Pastor Daniels family, I say I am sorry that I couldn't do more. Here is what we know. The police knowingly lied when they blamed it on a dead junkie. The video they used from in front of the church contradicts their accusations. Think about it, you will get it. The murderer never entered or left through the front door, the videotape proves that. This means the killer exited by the backdoor. Now, if the killer had a car then it was videotaped if it left via the front street to the church. The videotape would also show when the front door was closed after Pastor Daniels entered as she usually kept it open. Who closed the front door, the killer of Pastor Daniels? We know who locked the front door and it wasn't Pastor Daniels. There are only two possibilities. Either the murderer waited for her to enter and then locked the front door so she couldn't leave or she entered the church for Sunday services and locked the front door behind her. There is a remote third possibility and that is that the killer killed her and then locked the door.

How many people in all of that town knew her rituals? How many people would know to not come in through or leave through the front door? How many people within a one block radius didn't go to church that Sunday? How many people knew her screams would not be heard a block away at the police station or the gas station? What truly disgusts me is that the OSBI have given up on this case and declared it a dead file rather than a cold case. The Kansas police did a poor job with BTK; but, they kept it open. The OSBI isn't even that good. I don't know what the motive was; but, it wasn't robbery. Only a complete idiot would believe that. I don't think the motive was racial or we would have seen more and not just in churches. Someone knew she would be alone and the church would be empty. This was planned well in advance. This was personal at least on the killer's part even if she didn't know them.

UPDATE:

I didn't find any 10 year anniversary news articles and it is now the 23rd. I know people were looking the past couple of weeks to see if I would update the story from the searches that brought people here. I couldn't find any. My apologies to the Daniels family for not having anything more to offer. To them I say, be at peace. Pastor Daniels would want you to enjoy your lives and not be bitter. I have watched the news videos, I have seen and heard your words and faces. I know she taught you love and forgiveness. I send you my love and prayers, all I got. I don't believe I will be around another ten years, I am okay with that. I wont delete this blog again because of Pastor Daniels and the fact that people still come here to find out about her. You cannot ever understand me by just reading the posts about Pastor Daniels, I am a burnt out old political operative. I shall leave you with this.

A number of years ago I was asked to preach and did so for five years, never made a penny and it cost me money, never deducted it off my taxes. I worked a full time job while preaching. I thought I gave some decent sermons, people came with questions afterwards, I seemed to have reached them. The one sermon I gave that was the hardest for people to hear was about forgiveness. I asked the congregation, if they believed that we had to forgive to be forgiven and they all said yes. I then asked if we should start by forgiving the person who cheated getting in line first, should they start with the easy ones. That confused them, they knew me. I then said that to be a Christian means forgiving the one you least want to forgive first, the one person you don't feel you should ever forgive must be the first. Forgiveness saves you, God judges people and it is the rejection of forgiveness that hurts us. I told my adulteress ex, that I forgave her and she told me she didn't want any of my forgiveness. I hope she takes it someday because to refuse forgiveness is to pour hot coals on your own head.

Pastor Carol Daniels YouTube Video

I noticed an increase in hits on Pastor Daniels posts and found this recent YouTube video.

Just to be clear, I had nothing to do with the above video. They clearly used my site and Websleuths for research material and I am totally good with that. Their podcast was respectful of the Daniels family and I believe they gave a fairly good summary with only a couple of mistakes. They are one of the few commentators who mentioned that Pastor Daniels mother asked about what happened to her purse and briefcase. Now here is a question, why did Pastor Daniels bring a briefcase, if in fact she did? I was in business and an executive for decades, yet, never carried a briefcase. When I was a preacher, I never carried anything with me. IF the briefcase is important it might be worth asking what she kept in it, I doubt it was jewelry; but, may have been notes about the town or people she dealt with. Just a thought, the police should have asked her family what she kept in the briefcase; but, apparently didn't. I myself left that little tidbit out, intentionally. I actually only ever read it once.

Pimpernel Comes Clean

A couple of months back something happened to me. I believe I experienced what is called a Transient ischemic attack or TIA. It is a type of mini-stroke. I knew it was a possibility when I stopped taking my medication. In and of itself it was not a big deal. The one lasting effect seems to be that it is harder for me to remember certain minutia and quickly recall some names in the news. I cared for my father after he suffered a series of them, so I kind of know how they can progress. As a consequence, I am preparing to move closer to family. I am back on my meds and have begun making changes so that I can adjust to a possible new reality. I have survived two heart attacks, unbelievable bad blood pressure and a mini-stroke. I guess God is not quire done with me yet.

This post is not about me or my challenges. I will be quite fine and will have what I need. As long as I can I will continue with this blog. The reality is everyone dies and I will too someday. I could put a dead man switch on this blog so that it disappears when I do; but, I made a promise. I promised I would not destroy this blog as long as people still viewed it to see it to find out about Pastor Carol Daniels and they still do.

I hereby freely request that someone in Pastor Daniels copy every post I have made regarding her and every comment made about those posts. They are free to post them on their own blog in case this one ever is deleted for non-use or any other reason. I may get lucky and not suffer another TIA but there is a 1/3rd chance that I will suffer a major stroke. It is certainly a possibility that I will suffer another heart attack. One of my favorite poems is by Robert Frost, it is called Fire and Ice.

But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice

and would suffice."

I do not believe my death is imminent; but, I believe in preparing for things. Now is as good a time as any to give my permission to Pastor Carol Daniels family to copy and reproduce anything I have written about Pastor Daniels should they find it useful in any manner as they may see fit. It is not plagiarism if you have permission. Lets be honest, this blog has never been monetized. If her family chooses to copy everything I wrote, wont cost me a penny. If they were to use my words and receive compensation for my words, I would ask them to give the proceeds to a food bank. Now I am going to have a glass of wine.

News 9 - 9 Years Later, Evidence Revealed In The Murder of Pastor Carol Daniels.

I think it is fair to say that I have followed this case closely for 9 years. In the past couple of weeks many have come to my blog for an update and now I have one. I wrote about the grand jury investigation at the time and they did not find sufficient evidence that the drug dealer did it. To me that says the women is innocent. I believe the police just want to close the case. Lets consider some things.

We now know that the killer took Pastor Daniels clothes. They are saying that there was open "side" door; but, they removed the back door (evidence they have in their possession from an older report). The police believe it was a foiled robbery. That is nonsense. Consider the facts, the killer brought something to remove DNA evidence. The killer would be insane to have removed the clothes and could not get far without being noticed as being covered in blood. Robbery of a church with no attendees means no money. A look at the church shows no money, Pastor Daniels is not reported to have had lots of money. Junkies tend to try and stay away from the police and not commit crimes one block away from the police station. The report says that the two people who allowed themselves to be polygraphed offered nothing of use. Hmmm. They offered to be polygraphed and passed the polygraphs. Their evidence is a video showing a person wearing white running across the street, we cannot tell where they are coming from and they are not covered in blood. They are  wearing all white. Also remember, junkies and drug dealers don't like getting caught and that church was empty except on Sundays. They could have broken in at any time without getting caught.

I truly wish I could say I believed the police have found the murderer; but, I do not. I will never say in public the people I would want to see investigated. I do not deal in public accusations I cannot prove and I cannot prove who is guilty. I merely have questions.

I am still freaked out that members of Pastor Daniels family have read my pitiful blog. I have never wanted this blog to be a crime blog. It started as a defense of Christianity and I deleted that version after a year or so. The second iteration was random stuff. This is the third iteration and is usually about tech and the future. Often political news for the past two years. I was going to delete this blog and end it; but, after Pastor Daniels family contacted me, I could not delete it and I wont for their sake and in memory of Pastor Daniels. I have many issues in my life; but, I always have time to try and stay current on this case. I ask my readers to pray for one of my children who has an addiction that I am trying to address.

UPDATE 1:

I'm sorry, I am really pissed at the police for this case. I am supposed to believe in a town of 6,000 people the drug dealers and junkies did not know where the one police station was. A block away from the church. Of all the places to rob, why a church that nobody attended on a Sunday during hours? Look, you rob a house of church goers on Sundays because they are not at home. They set her hair on fire to cover up forensic evidence. This was a sexual crime. The person who committed it came on her hair. Read the autopsy of how he slit her breasts. How many people knew she would be there? Count it up, its not many.

UPDATE 2: I am confused. Go to 1:49 on the video above. I had read that the video had shown that only two cars came to the church. Pastor Daniels and the two people that attended her services. That means the video is from before the either had shown up. Do you see a car in front of the church? Either this video shows that Daniels car was there or that person crossing the street was there before Daniels was killed. When did Pastor Daniels arrive or were the reports wrong in saying that the video showed her car?

Lets talk about Pastor Carol Daniels Once Again.

It has been a bit and the murder has still not been solved. I doubt the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation is doing anything anymore. They thought they would kill the case by blaming a dead drug dealer, that did not work out. The grand jury saw beyond it. Good for them. It may be a cold case and a dead case; but, it has not been closed out quite yet.

Lets start with the things cops look for. Means, motive and opportunity. The means were pretty limited. Access to a knife and some cleaning agent, possibly bleach. That's all we know for sure. The means were available to anyone. The motive, well it doesn't seem to be money or sex. The motive does not seem to be revenge. In fact, the police have looked at everyone with a motive and when they cannot fine motive, they stop looking. That is their stupidity. If you cannot find means or motive leading to the killer, one should examine opportunity.

Everyone that had the opportunity to kill Pastor Daniels could easily find the means and the motive could have been as simple as killing someone and getting away with it. The real limiting factor is opportunity and few had that. This is what the police should be looking at.

1. How many people knew she would be at that church at that time.
2. How many people knew the church would be empty on a Sunday.
3. How many people knew they would not be noticed if they entered through the back door.
4. How many people knew they could get away and not be seen.
5. How many people knew she would not be heard screaming by the neighbors.

If the police cannot answer these questions, they have not done their job. If the police ever solve the crime, it will be because they asked these questions, got the answers and narrowed the field. Hopefully, they will do their job and start asking these questions rather than looking down roads that have already failed them. The murder happened a block away from the police station and from a gas station on the main road leading to a casino. Nobody entered through the front door except the pastor. How many people knew they would not be seen entering or leaving through the back. Simple questions for a town of 6,000 people. A small pool of eligible.

Pastor Carol Daniels, Released Evidence in Grand Jury

I do not know if her family reads me regularly, my guess is not. It just occurred to me, the county went to the grand jury to charge a dead female junky for the crime. It was untrue, she did not commit it and at a minimum, they had no evidence; but, amongst the evidence they would have had to explain was the backdoor that they kept from the church.

It has never come out what the reason was that the police took the back door into evidence. I do not know Oklahoma law; but, I am guessing that anything presented to a grand jury can be requested under the Public Records or FOIA laws. At a minimum, the grand jury members can say what they were told was on the door and what they saw.

For what it is worth, I think the family of Pastor Daniels should have their attorney ask to see the evidence that was presented to the grand jury.

Pastor Carol Daniels, a Grand Jury and Someone Watching the Case

A few months ago a grand jury was asked to look into the Pastor Carol Daniels case. Previously they had put a retired detective on the case as basically a help you out type of consulting job. Putting a retired guy on the case is what you do when you have a retired friend that needs a couple of bucks and need someone to babysit a cold case that you think you cannot solve. My dad was a cop before I was even born. My dad was a famous law enforcement officer my whole life and is even famous today and he taught me this garbage since I was elementary school. I know the law to, I have a doctorate in it. That grand jury was supposed to kill this case and blame it on the dead dealer; but, they didn't. They didn't because it wasn't that drug dealer, if that is in fact what she was. They wanted to blame the dead girl and I wrote that on this blog at that time.

Here is a stone cold fact, the murderer entered through the back door. The police had video of the front door. The police removed and saved to evidence the back door. That is a fact. There are other facts that I have recited over the years and things that can actually be proven. I personally have stated that I have told the OSBI who I am and unless they are the worst police unit in the United States, they have checked me out.

This is an ugly case for the OSBI and they still have missed the obvious. If they had found tire marks behind the church, they would know what the killer drove; but, the killer did not drive there, they walked there. It was dirt behind the church, they knew the killer entered and left through the back, they should have print mark casts from the back of the church and I don't think they do. I think the local cops screwed up the crime scene and that is understandable. Small town cops are not trained in complicated and rare murders. The Kansas City police royally messed up and screwed up the BTK investigation for 40 years.

The grand jury didn't end up blaming the supposed drug dealer because they knew they were going to get called out. I have told people to NOT speculate on specific people being involved in this murder to anyone other than the police. Online speculation is horrifically stupid. You don't ever publicly announce who you suspect until they arrest them or you are warning them.

There is a line in the post that I believe is referencing me, it says, "One online crime enthusiast, who has religiously followed the case, quipped: "blaming the murder on a dead woman would wrap this up nicely for them [OSBI]." Just to be clear, I am not a "crime enthusiast" if you are referencing me. I detest criminal behavior. In fact, I have requested that someone much more viewed than my pitiful blog investigate and write about just so the family would know that people still cared. I have told the family that I am not a wonderful person and deserve no credit for anything other than my selfish interest in talking about the world I witness. It was nothing personal from me.

The person attached to the linked blog claims to be a writer of crime stories based on true events. If they can show me that they care about the family and if the family approves, I would talk to this person just to get the story heard by more and push the OSBI to take a more serious look even after all of these years.

This case was not closed by the grand jury. If I have done anything that played a role in that then I am glad and my writing was not in vain. I have said this before and I will say it again. I have done nothing other than talk about things I see. That is the only point of my blog at this time. My prayers and thoughts always go out to the family and this case has effected me though I never intended it to. I feel a connection to the family and if and when the murderer is ever caught, I will drive to Oklahoma to meet the family and tell them that she and God would expect all to forgive all sins. I believe they would and do.

You tell me what you have to offer to the family and I will tell you what I have to offer to you, even things I did not publish; but, you first prove you actually care about the family and not about the crime. Indianapolisrecorder - Police say slain pastor's body 'staged' in church.

Here are the few facts we know based on evidence. On Sunday, August 23, 2009, Pastor Carol Daniels was found dead in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She was murdered inside her church. She would drive there over 50 miles away from her home in Oklahoma City to provide services for two members of their denomination. The members were old and did not show up every week. I didn't get this from the linked articles above, I have been following this case since it happened.

There is a videotape of Pastor Daniels arriving at the church and entering it. That means she entered through the front door where her car was parked. There is no videotape of the back door, which was later removed and kept in evidence by the police. I believe the killer entered through the back door and either wrote or drew something on it worthy of it being removed and kept by the police.

Pastor Daniels was not robbed. The autopsy verified this and one of the family members even commented on this fact on this blog. The closest article I ever found regarding anything missing was Pastor Daniels mother asking about some attaché case or such and that would be in one of my previous posts. Pastor Daniels car was not stolen and remained in front of the church although the killer would have had access to the keys. We have never been told if any "souvenirs" were kept by the killer.

We know Pastor Daniels entered through the front door. We know she was killed from in front of her and we know the killer entered through the back door. I have never seen a layout of the church. I don't know what rooms may have been in the back of the church, I will at least assume the church had a bathroom and maybe that was where the killer hid. We do not know when the killer entered the church or if they had been there all night or for hours. It is most likely they were already inside the church when Pastor Daniels entered. That and the fact that DNA evidence was destroyed by the killer means that it was premeditated.

Pastor Daniels had defensive wounds and would have screamed, loudly; but, nobody reported hearing any noise, including the next door neighbor. Nobody reported seeing anything, including the people living on the backside of the church who would have had a clear view of anyone entering through the back. More importantly, nobody noticed a vehicle parked behind the church. This brings up the question of how someone covered in blood, as they would have been, could have exited through the back and not be seen.

Now lets consider the evidence the police have. They have none. Zip, zero. They have NO DNA evidence or they would have a conviction. They have NO witnesses or it would have come out. They have no physical evidence pointing to a specific person or it would have come out. They have no similar murders or it would have come out. They have no fingerprint evidence or we would have known. If they had fingerprints then they would have compared them to databases, if in the database they would have identified the killer, if not in the database, they would have started fingerprinting everyone in the area.

The police have no hard evidence, period. All they have is the possibility of a confession and none was given. If their current suspect, the dead meth user, had confessed they would have said so. All they have is rumors and accusations. The rumors of Satanists or atheists turned out to be silly and nonsense. Some have tried to blame a serial killer named Israel Keyes; but, there is absolutely nothing showing he had ever been in that town and it did not fit his methodology.

After killing Pastor Daniels the killer locked the front door from inside. They didn't just leave, they locked the front door and staged the body. That says something about them. Most killers want to get away as quickly as possible, this one didn't, they stuck around and staged the body. They wanted to confuse the police and they took the Pastor's clothes after they killed her. That took time. Why did they take her clothes. My guess is that they were afraid their blood or other body fluid was on the clothes. My readers know I don't like to be graphic on this site; but, it is possible that the killer masturbated on Pastor Daniels clothes. BTK used to do that, you can look him up. BTK used to write that he killed out of sexual urges; but, he never once had sex with his victims, he masturbated onto their clothes, usually underwear. He would also take pictures. He also staged one of his victims inside a church where he was a Deacon. BTK brought a camera to at least two of his murders, did this person do the same? Just wondering things as they occur to me.

I have not gone back and read all of my old posts. I have not gone back and read all of the links in my previous posts. I did not like reading about the autopsy again tonight. I don't like thinking about or reading about this case. I am disgusted by what happened on so many levels and have lived with this case too many years. I never know what to say when I receive comments from people who knew her; but, I know I deserve no thanks for having written about it.

I do not believe the internet will solve this case, I never have. My father was in federal law enforcement and I grew up talking about crimes. I graduated law school with honors and never wanted to practice or be involved in any way with criminal law. I didn't want to even practice law at all and never have. I do not find crimes glamorous and have no respect for anyone in organized crime, they are scum to me. Other than financial crimes, I don't believe I have written about many actual crimes on this blog in 8 years. Prior to this blog I did write about one crime, I wrote about BTK. I wrote as catchputz on a Wichita newspapers website and I accurately predicted many thing about him, you can look up the Wichita paper's thread on it. I studied under Jack Levin of Northeaster the expert on serial killers and had contacted him about the case a month or two before BTK reappeared and after Professor Levin had written me that the case wasn't worth reviewing because the killer was dead or in jail. I told him he was wrong and he was. Profilers are fine when the crime fits the "normal" pattern, they only misdirect when they are not the "normal" killer. Turned out I was more correct than the FBI because BTK did resurface and was caught by sheer luck. He was dumb enough to leave DNA evidence and use a computer that had registered it's software. Oops. He made a stupid mistake 40 years later and got caught. There is always hope in finding the guilty so long as we do not accept conclusions based on conjecture alone and I have nothing but conjecture and a knowledge of what is not right. This was not a robbery. Anyone taking her clothes would have taken her ring, they were not afraid of removing things from the scene.

I do not know if I can be objective about this case anymore and I see no value in my not being objective and coldly analyzing it. My first post was about how the police were looking in the wrong places. I think they are still looking in the wrong places for easy answers that they don't have to prove. I cannot think objectively knowing that the family has read this blog. I cannot look objectively and self edit what I say. How did the killer get blooded soaked clothes out and why did they take them, why did they burn her hair, why did they destroy the DNA evidence, what did they do to the back door (though my guess is, it was misdirection just like the staging of the body), why didn't they panic after the killing, why didn't they take her ring, why did they enter through the back and most importantly, how did they know the church would be empty on a Sunday during services? How many of those questions can be answered in blaming a dead meth junkie and be believed?

To Pastor Daniels family, I say, I am sorry have don't have more to offer. I don't know who killed Pastor Daniels and if I did, I wouldn't write about it, I would call the OSBI. Their number is included in their links above. We know where she was killed, we know what happened to her, we know how she was killed, we know when she was killed, We don't know why or who killed her and the evidence that we do know doesn't answer those questions. Everyone with a monetary or know relationship issue has been ruled out by the cops. We don't know the who until we get a confession, all else is guessing and it seems all rumors apply if the grand jury is going to blame a dead meth addict.

Don't let this case be closed based on rumors or self serving confessions by "accomplices" who get immunity. To the family again I say, I am sorry I don't have more to offer. The killer had a lot of confidence that they would get away with this. They knew the area and the church. This murder was intended, premeditated and the killer knew what happened at that church on Sundays, the only day of the week when Pastor Daniels would be there alone. How many times had this supposed meth head killer been there on Sundays and why hadn't anyone noticed her? I cannot say the killer will ever be identified; but, does it really matter if others know who it was? It may happen; but, will change anything?

I don't know what it means to living killing someone. I come from a military family; but, I don't ask them about killing. I do know this, when you die you look at yourself and judge your past actions. That is when you discover that forgiving others is easier than forgiving yourself and God forgives us all. Jesus forgave his killers and I know Pastor Daniels family have forgiven her killer. Maybe that is all we can ever come away from with this case. That might be enough.

Pastor Daniels and Linda Dunlap

Dear Ms. Dunlap,

I received and posted your comment tonight. I was going to comment to you on the same post and wrote it up then deleted it. Then I was going to UPDATE that particular post, edit the original which was just two links to articles about the grand jury; but, I found my update was too long for an update so I have decided to make a post specifically about the question you raised about the intent having been robbery.

I found myself drawn into the case itself and while it started out to you became a discussion of why I don't believe it was a robbery and why I don't believe the police are looking in the right place. I am going to post here what I was writing on the update on the other post. I am a strange person with a strange mind and I grew up around law enforcement people. I humbly apologize if I write and think in a callous manner; but, I have to be emotionless to see beyond the horror if I am to see any truth. The horror of this case, I believe, was used to hide the real motive for it.

We look for motive, I look for motive; but, it is impossible to imagine all the possible motives not having known Pastor Daniels. I cannot say what type of person Pastor Daniels was, I can only repeat what her family has said about her. All I know about her is that she drove a long way to pastor to two old people in a church that had no other regular members, a dying church. I assume the two elderly members did not kill her. I take that as a given. I assume that not too many people in Anadarko even knew about that church or it's congregation. I assume not too many people knew it would be empty on a Sunday during services. I assume that the church held nothing of monetary value and that nobody assumed it did in that town.

There are other things I believe. I believe the killer knew that Pastor Daniels would be there even if nobody else was. The killer believed that they would have their chance to kill her with no witnesses and have the chance to cover up the DNA evidence. The killer believed they could kill Pastor Daniels with a knife and that nobody would hear her screams or see them leave even though they were a block away from the police station and a gas station, both of which could see people entering and leaving through the back door.

I believe this case can be solved with a map of the area. Here is what I would have wanted to know. How many people travel past that church during those hours on a Sunday while Pastor Daniels would have been there? I am an analyst, I like data. What percentage of the people who drive past that church on a Sunday during service hours would have known that the church would be empty except for the Pastor? I have to believe it is a really small number.

I have an in-law with a relative who killed someone in a town like Anadarko. They blew an old women's brain out to cover up a theft or under a $100. They have been sent to jail for life. I have never met them. I know that people can kill for pennies. Pastor Daniels was not killed in a robbery. She didn't run a 7-11. If you are going to rob someone and kill them, you at least make sure money will be there. My in-law killed for money in a robbery.

Here is a question. How many times has the gas station that is two blocks away from the same police station robbed in a month? How many times has the manager of that gas station been killed in the course of a robbery? I bet the answer is none and if you are looking to rob someone and are prepared to kill and hide the DNA evidence, why would you attempt to rob a church with nothing of monetary value in it instead of the gas station where you know there is money?

I believe that the authorities want to close this case and cannot do it honestly. If there were DNA evidence, this case would not go to a grand jury, it wouldn't need to. Consider the Zodiac case, the prime suspect for most was a man named Arthur Allen and DNA evidence proved it was not him after 40 years. If the police had DNA evidence in this case it would have come out, they don't, they have said they don't.

The police have NO witnesses, they have NO DNA evidence, they have said so. You don't close a case until you have SOME evidence, not conjecture or supposed witness admissions from people who need immunity for other crimes. Right after this crime a homeless guy claimed to have seen the killer come out the front door covered in blood. You can look that up. Turned out he was lying to get stuff from reporters. I called it out at the time. The killer came in and exited the backdoor and the cops kept that door, that was reported at the time. We have to stick with the facts we know to fight lies.

If the three women came to rob Pastor Daniels, why did they use the locked back door and break in rather than walk in through the open front door once the Pastor had arrived? Why wasn't the killer afraid of the noise and the screams? The pastor had defensive wounds, I read the autopsy, I just didn't post it out of respect for the family. How many people, even crazed junkies and I've know them too, would think that the best place to rob was a church on a Sunday during services? How many people, even crazed junkies from out of town, would know that they could get away with hiding the DNA evidence of such a murder and prepare for it?

Whoever killed Pastor Daniels knew the area very, very well. They also knew Pastor Daniels schedule in that area very, very well. They also knew they could get away without being noticed, even if they parked in the back and kicked the door in. How did they know these things, how many people had the OPPORTUNITY to know these things. How did the junkie know these things? If they knew these things, then why pick this target? That is a real question too. We can figure out who would have known the churches schedule and Pastor Daniels schedule and it isn't many. How many of those people would have known how to get away and not be noticed. That is even fewer and doesn't include her ex.

I haven't stopped following the case and will not delete this blog until and if it is solved, I made that promise when I deleted so much of my two prior iterations of this blog. Last month this blog got over 5,000 hits. My post on Pastor Daniels is my single most read post and got fewer than that in seven years. This blog is not widely read, even now and I had planned to stop doing it many times. I will not end this blog as long as there is new information regarding this case. When there is new information, I will comment and post on it.

To Pastor Daniels family I must open myself. I didn't do this for you to read in the beginning, I never wondered if you would. I only got about 6 or 7 readers per post. This blog was never meant to have been read by more than that. This blog was never meant to do anything other than teach my readers how to look at the world differently. This case was being looked at wrong and I used it as an example for my readers to look beyond the lies and garbage. You never have to thank me for the post or talking about Pastor Daniels. It is an honor to keep a place for her to be remembered; but, I cannot take credit for an intent that I did not have. That post helped me to see life in another way, it helped me to see my written words in another way. The experience of the last few years related to what I have seen on this blog about that post has caused me to look at so many things about writing and I write to write.

I am me, nothing more and I write to examine things. Christians should know that it is not just what we think but what we then say that defines us. A thought is fulfilled when it becomes an action even if that action is just words, words can be examined and judged by others, they can be questioned the same as actions can. I write to challenge and be questioned. I write to cause conversation and question the common narrative as that is frequently influenced by politics and interests. I say this so that you can better understand my perspective on the case.

There was a man named Charles Forte and he wrote about anomalies and how people responded to them. I have written about him before on this blog. He collected articles about anomalies and then wrote about how people responded to them. They respond with unproven lies that cannot be debated as there is no evidence for them. He wrote about articles that had appeared all over the world, and still appear, about fish falling from the sky. People would most often blame it on tornadoes or cyclones with no evidence of either having occurred. They picked answers that avoided being tested and he saw that as insincere. He was a sceptic to be sure.

Evidence is the residue of an event. It is rarely if ever complete. I am a sceptic of all I am told that does not fit the evidence. Robbery does not fit the evidence in this case. Random selection does not fit the evidence of this case. The evidence in this case indicates that someone who was known in the area to frequent the area around the church committed the crime with planning and intent. The person who committed this crime was not a serious suspect then and is not now.

Here is what I cannot accept. Two female junkies entered the church on a Sunday during service hours knowing there might be at least two more people in the church, willing to kill all three with the screams and possibility of one escaping to the street and alerting others, including the police one block away. Whoever did this knew they would not be caught in the act and could get away without being noticed. How many people could that apply to? I think, for what it is worth, that this case can be solved with a map. That means no more or less than I said.

I cannot see allowing this case to be closed until the evidence proves something. I don't think this case should be closed based on the words of someone trying to avoid being convicted of another crime. If the prosecutors are not willing to charge someone with the crime then don't accept testimony in the place of physical evidence. It is better to keep the case open than close it based on rumors. At least that is my belief.

If this case is closed, I would hope that after the grand jury is done some of the members read this and ask themselves if they can answer the questions I raised. The family is better off not believing lies than accepting a lie to find peace.
