For over a decade I have tried to point out on this blog, what is really going on. Where the power is and what it wants. People see small glimpses of how the world is acting be it transvestite reading hour in schools or open borders or Antifa. These things seem unconnected and people try and find the patter; but, always get trapped in the obvious and assume it is the fault of whoever they believe is responsible for the attacks they feel around them. Blame the blacks, the jews, Muslims, gays, Nazis, Libtards, Right Wingers, the boomers, gen Z, pick a villian. Not one of those groups could have shut down the whole world as has been done the last two years. Not one of those groups could have caused the financial crisis worldwide or even the housing crisis.
The only group that can control the world, is the group that "owns" the world. We shall call them the global elite. Their method for controlling the world is by controlling who hates who, divide and conquer has always been their method. They promise the "best and brightest" and offer anyone who can be useful as a "influencer" cookies and money and fame. They offer them respect in exchange for impacting the illusion that you matter. Take one hour and watch this video, it gives a very good explanation of who is in charge and what they really want. They want money.
Sometime in the 1970s there began a growing movement for global economic redistribution. These discussions were primarily held in the fields of sociology and political science. Prior to the industrial revolution there was little national economic inequality which is to say that all countries were relatively poor. The industrial revolution changed this and shifted both national wealth and wealth within western and other industrial countries. After World War II, the United States became the manufacturer of the world and the wealth of the United States outstripped that of the rest of the world.
For a more in depth discussion of the issue, I recommend you read the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy on Global Justice. This philosophy was closely tied to the belief that wealth should be more evenly shared across the world and this means having international laws and treaties that would promote the shifting of wealth from wealthy nations to poor nations. In many ways this theory led to the philosophical belief in the importance of "Globalism".
Consider which countries have benefited the most from globalism and when it began and accelerated. After the fall of the Soviet Union manufacturing was primarily shifted from the west to China and India. What do China and India have in common, they had the highest populations in the world. What they also had in common was high poverty. By sending manufacturing to these counties, we effectively were involved in global economic redistribution. This shift had an economic advantage for the wealthy within the west which was that they were able to reduce labor costs, reduce the cost of providing employees with benefits, avoiding environmental requirements, avoiding taxes and reducing the wealth and influence of the middle class in the west. The stated justification for outsourcing jobs overseas was that labor costs were cheaper and the other issues were not addressed. If our leaders said in public what they say in private, the middle class would not have accepted these changes.
As manufacturing was moved to China and India, people in the Midwest who lost their jobs began to get upset. They began fighting against outsourcing and a new explanation emerged for why people in the west had to lower their standard of living, global warming and the need for people in the west to "lower their carbon footprint". The culprit we were told was the burning of fossil fuels and the problem was claimed to be so bad that we needed international agreements to solve it. Agreements that are not voted on by the citizens of the countries that were making these wealth transfers.
The solution we are told is that all countries commit to the Paris Climate Accord. Under the accord nations set their own limits and they are not legally bound to meet retaining the right to change them. Under the agreement China will continue to expand it use of coal burning power plants until 2030, doubling the number of coal burning plants in the meantime. You might ask if CO2 is such a threat then why is China increasing it's coal burning? The answer is that China is seen as an emerging economic power and that they are entitled to "Catch up" economically. Global justice. China is currently the largest producer of CO2 in the world and is looking at doubling its emissions until 2030 while the west is expected to cut their emissions even further. What is the result, this policy basically forces the west to shift even more manufacturing to China, India and other "emerging economies".
By the way, the Nobel Prize for Economics was given to two men for tying climate change to economics. The same two are in favor of an international carbon tax, what a surprise. If you don't believe there is a connection between economic policy and climate policy, you are sadly misinformed.
If you watch the video above on Global Justice, you will discover that they see one option for global justice involves the movement of poor people into wealthy countries. Basically the unfettered migration into Europe and the fight for open borders in the United States is from globalists.

Some simple little facts to consider. During the housing boom (2003 - 2007) people began building bigger and bigger houses even though families were getting smaller and smaller. While touring new developments at that time I began to say that they looked like boarding houses and that is what they will become.
Imagine paying people $75,000 to build a small home in the back of their property, what is the effect? Well, first and foremost it means that the idea of zoning for single family residences is destroyed. Once destroyed, people will be allowed to rent out rooms, again, a violation of the zoning regarding single family residences. Trust me, this "pilot program" is intended to fail and instead people will get paid to rent out rooms and it will start in the Antelope Valley and Moreno Valley.
If you want to see what is coming, start by looking at the infrastructure that is being built.

I met the most wonderful woman in the world on my first day of sixth grade. She was really smart and had just skipped a grade. Imagine going from 4th grade straight to 6th grade and still getting all As. She met me and could see that I didn't just have no respect for the other students, I didn't respect the teachers and knew I knew more than them and proved it daily. My teacher begged my parents to have me skip grades; but, my mother knew it would mean I would never respect others and wouldn't let it happen. I thank God for my mother keeping me back and letting me learn that even normals matter. Oligarchs and elitists don't believe what I believe, I believe everybody matters and we can all learn more. I just believe in sharing the information we learn, they don't. The girl I met in 6th grade saw my arrogance and disrespect for those less intelligent and poked me in the eye to let me know that she saw them for what they were and didn't want me to hurt them. She taught me that "you matter", not me, that everyone matters and I have loved her heart for that ever since that day, even now although she has passed on. The people who believe they are your betters have no respect for you and do not believe you matter anymore than their dogs and cats. They don't see you as important as they see themselves. Curbed Los Angeles - City Council votes to dedicate $27M to Vision Zero, its plan to end traffic deaths. Vision Zero, ever hear of it? Nope, you probably have not. It is a multinational plan, not a Los Angeles plan, not a state plan and not a national plan. It's avowed purpose is to make streets safer; but, it's real intent is to make the streets friendly to self-driving vehicles and keep personal vehicles out of the major cities. They ask a simple question, how will people find a sense of purpose when their labor is no longer needed. As the article points out, the issue of a laborless future is being looked at today by CEOs. For me the problem is that the majority people can't see it coming or be involved in the discussion until they do.
The big question remains. What do we do as a society when we no longer need people's labor. It is a moral question and a structural one and if you don't think about it, you will not have a say in it.

Lots of people are wondering why the governments of Europe refuse to address the issue of how Muslim immigration from the poorest Arab countries of the least educated people from those countries is effecting their nations. Your average conservative will say it is because they are letting radicals into their country and that is true to a degree; but, most of the people who committed terror attacks in England were second generation and were radicalized in the United Kingdom. Liberals will tell you we just have to be more tolerant of their cultures, to be multi-cultural rather than adopt English culture as the Indians and Pakistani's have in the past. They mayor of London has said that terror attacks are just the reality of life in modern European cities. On it's face that is insanity; but, he actually meant it because he doesn't believe in borders and he understands that will be one of the consequences.
The assumption I begin with in politics is that things come about because the people in power want them to. Who benefits must always be the question, follow the money that determines what happens. The perspective of all globalists and the European Union is that having many groups in constant conflict has a value beyond bringing in new cuisines. What is the value they find in it economically and socially? Lets start by looking at Theresa May's (the English Prime Minister) response to the murders on the London bridge by Muslim extremists.
What did she blame the attacks on? Firstly she blamed it on sectarianism (religion, any religion that people believe in). Her solution is constant and growing internal security and surveillance. The second cause she found for the violence was the internet. She said it allowed people to gather and discuss wrong ideas. Her solution is to internationally regulate what you can say online and monitor all your online communications to make sure your not a bad person. She then states that we must attack ISIS in Syria; but, Syria was not involved in ANY of the three attacks that England has experienced in the last three months alone or ever. Her fourth solution is longer detainment for people not found guilty of crimes but suspected of thinking about committing a terrorist act. In fact, there had been discussions and a trial balloon floated at the idea of suspending the English elections.
John Oliver of Last Week Tonight posted a clip from his show last night where he talked about the London bridge attack, he laughed and said the English way was to laugh it off and said the real threat was Putin. I saved the clip; but, it is no longer up, I am sure it will pop up somewhere. Yep, found another copy.
These things just don't disappear. He starts by saying that "In no way is Britain under siege", just upset. How many people were killed in the last three irritating events, how many at the Manchester bombing alone? He literally laughs at the idea that some Britain' s might be worried or concerned. He claimed that the Britain's are more upset by people making tea in a microwave than the terror attacks. He then shows a gay man in England whos says that he will keep doing what he does because he won't let the terrorists win. Fair enough; but, they didn't ask this gay man if he felt threatened by the extreme Muslims who attack gays. He ends by saying that the biggest threat to the United States is Putin and Trump and that Putin had said that some Russians could have been involved in hacking the DNC; but, that is not quite what he said, just how Oliver summarized it.
After 9-11 happened Jon Stewart and others gave heart felt sorrow and expressions of love for their city, Oliver didn't do that, he laughed about what happened in London, watch the video, he made fun of it and then attacked Trump and Putin. This man has sold his soul and wants to sell you on the establishment agenda while appearing to be anti-establishment. He also thought Britain leaving the EU was the worst thing that has ever happened, yet he left Britain and the EU. Lets not forget that he works for one of the six multinational companies that own 90% of all the media in the United States.
Here is a few questions for you. If we are facing overpopulation then why increase the number of people in Europe by immigration? If we have a problem with greenhouse gasses in the west than why increase the number of people through immigration and thereby increase the greenhouse gas emissions from those same countries? If we cannot assimilate people without terror attacks than why bring in more people who don't agree with western beliefs and not require them to assimilate? What is the benefit?
I want to focus on the media for a second. I am going to post a video by a guy I find amusing but frequently think oversimplifies things.
I will not post it; but, Alex Jones has an even longer copy of the tape of the staging of this event. Specifically CNN was involved in arranging a show of support from what we are told Muslims for London and against terrorists. They also made it appear to be spontaneous, which it wasn't.
The Muslims did not crash the world economy, neither did the gays, the jews, xenophobes, Nazi's or Putin or Trump or Melania or Ivanka or the illegal aliens. Nope, it was the western banks that crashed the economy and rigged the markets afterwards. It was after the worldwide markets crashed that we attacked Libya, Syria and everyone else in the middle east. A distraction. By sending them to the west we have brought in a new boogie man so that we will ignore the real boogieman, our wealthy and our leaders.
Today the Bilderberg Group publicly listed a number of people scheduled to attend this year's meeting. The meeting will be held June 1 to 4, 2017 in Chantilly, Virginia. The Finnish Minister of Transport and Communication will be their along with Tiankai Cui, the Chinese ambassador to the United States, Sandro Gozi, the Italian State Secretary for European Affairs, Senator Lindsey Graham, Christine LeGarde (Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund) and assorted other officials from foreign countries. Remember when it turned out that General Flynn had talked to a Russian ambassador and the media started saying he had violated the Logan Act which forbids unauthorized people from negotiating with foreign governments. Heck, newspapers called for Trump's impeachment for violating it. Well, I wrote that I would bring up the issue again when Bilderberg met next. That is now. Let's play who can we put in jail. John Brennan of the Kissinger Associates, Senator Tom Cotton, Kenneth Griffin of the Citadel Group, David Rubenstein of the Carlyle Group, Eric Schmidt of the Alphabet Inc formerly called Google, and a variety of other Americans going there to discuss foreign affairs with foreign diplomats in private.
Will MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times or the Washington Post be reporting on the possibility that international affairs will be discussed in violation of the Logan Act? Nope, they won't even barely report on the meeting. Flynn was the incoming Secretary of Defense and he spoke to the Russian ambassador and they called for his head. Why is Eric Schmidt allowed to meet in private with the Ambassador from China, he has never been elected to office, does he have President Trump's authorization? If not, he is violating the Logan Act.
ALL the people who called for Flynn's prosecution under the Logan Act will say nothing about it now. Why? Because they are hypocrites? No, because they are flat out liars and know the Logan Act probably would not stand up in court today, just like it hasn't been used in about 200 years. That is the essence of this whole Russia Trump media game. Come back in five days and we will go over all those who call for prosecuting the American attendees at Bilderberg. You won't find anyone in corporate media doing it, not even Keith Olberman.
Now lets discuss the agenda for this year's Bilderberg meeting. Item one is a discussion of Trump and his administration. Yes, a group of globalists are discussing what they think of a nationalist. I bet they don't like him. They will also be discussing whether or not globalization can be "slowed down" and why populism is growing (as opposed to elitism). You see, your betters don't like it when you don't vote the way they want you to, they don't like the idea of democracy. The most telling thing they will discuss is, "Jobs, income and unrealized expectation". Short answer is they are discussing that there will be fewer and fewer jobs, the concept of universal welfare and how people will be pissed when they have no opportunity to get ahead (unrealized expectations). They will be discussing the things I have been writing about for eight years that are not discussed in the mass corporate media. They will be discussing the future or all of us and you will not know what is specifically said because nobody takes notes or repeats what was discussed there.
When the election for President began, I stated that I wanted to see Sanders or Trump win and that I would never vote for a Clinton or a Bush. I wrote that on this blog at the time. I also stated that I preferred Sanders. As the election went on I pointed out how the system was rigged against them both and wrote about delegates and super-delegates. I talked about how the Republican party was trying to cheat Trump and I talked about how the Democratic party was attempting to cheat Bernie.
Tonight I watched a movie on Netflix called, "Get Me Roger Stone". It is a documentary about one of Trump's advisors named Roger Stone. It is basically all about how Roger Stone is a very flawed person, he is. It then overemphasizes what he did for Trump. It links Stone closely to Alex Jones who I have also said I will not link to here. The final conclusion of the movie is that Stone is linked to Russia and that WikiLeaks is linked to Russia and that Trump's association links him to Russia. Ta da. What a bunch of garbage.
I laughed at the directors attempt to talk about Stone's "dirty tricks" while ignoring what the other candidates people did and their advertisements and their accusations. This film is propaganda and bad propaganda. It's single greatest flaw is ignoring why Trump and Sanders were so popular. The Democratic establishment will tell you that it was xenophobic, homophobic, misogynistic and racists that got Trump elected. The Republican establishment will tell you that it was a rejection of the liberals. Neither answer is true, neither will admit what it really was and is exactly what I predicted years ago on this very blog when the Occupy movement was shut down long before this election even began or anyone knew that Bernie and Trump would run.
This election was a rejection of the establishment and how this country is being run. Simple numbers tell you that. Trump, with 16 opponents Trump won the Republican nomination. Bernie almost won the nomination and split the party. If you take the number of people who voted Bernie in the primaries and add it to the number of people who voted Trump in the primaries it accounted for more votes by double for all the other candidates.25% of all voters in the primaries voted Republican establishment, 25% of all voters in the primaries voted for the Democratic establishment and 50% of all voters went for the anti-establishment Trump or Sanders. This election was a rejection by half of the country of the establishment and the Democrats and the Republican establishment see that.
The media will talk about phony reasons that Trump won; but, they don't talk about what Trump and Sanders have in common an it is that they both reject the establishment. People did not vote for Sanders because they thought he could achieve what he said, he couldn't.. If Jeb had won and Sanders had won the primaries, Jeb might have won the presidency; but, he couldn't win because Republicans don't like the Bushes anymore, they see them as the establishment.
Ask the average person what WikiLeaks is and they don't have a clue. During the Occupy movement I explained that we were seeing a reaction to the economic crash and how only Wall Street was bailed out with your money. I then said that I expected the people on the left and right to show up again but in a new way, they did, they came out for Trump and Sanders. Trump is a consequence of the Republican establishment co-opting and destroying the Tea Party. Sanders is the result of Obama destroying the Occupy movement. I also predicted that if we did not see a Trump or Sanders things would only get bad. Everyone is mad at the establishment, half the population is just still drinking the cool aid and believing the establishment is willing to change. Hillary lost because too many real liberals didn't vote at all, look at Obama's numbers and Hillary's. If it had been Jeb versus Sanders, you would have seen the exact same thing. The people who voted for Trump would probably not voted for Bush even against Hillary.
After Brexit and Trump, the establishment had a meltdown. They actually called for the electoral college to violate their duties, that was called for in mainstream media. They wrote articles about how the constitution's electoral college is evil and later about how the members should break the law and not do their duty. They called for impeaching Trump before he even got into office and it has not stopped. How hysterical has the media gotten? Well, how about this article from CNN - Trump gets 2 scoops of ice cream, everyone else gets 1. During the election there were too many articles in mainstream media about what food Trump ate that it was ludicrous and they were all negative. How do you write negative articles about what food someone likes? I called it out when one of the biggest papers in the world wrote about how Trump liked his steaks cooked (well done and that means he is a bad person according to the article).
The establishment on the left and the right will do anything to remove Trump and return control of this country over to the establishment, they are not going to give it to Sanders. The problem for the establishment is that most Bernie supporters can see the nonsense behind the Trump attacks as a Russian agent. This is why the Democratic party is split in the middle and at war with itself.
It doesn't matter who is President if Trump is impeached over lies or killed. People on the left and right will know that you didn't impeach or kill Trump, you showed what happens if you don't do what the establishment wants. The people are not happy with the way things have been going on for the last 30+ years, they are not happy with what happened when the economy crashed and how they paid more in taxes so that the 1% that crashed the economy could stay in business thinking that they might create jobs; but, that didn't happen, there was no trickle down recovery.
Los Angeles is big, it is real big. There are 88 distinct cities in Los Angeles County, the City of Los Angeles is just one. Burbank, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, San Fernando, Lancaster are just some of the better known ones. The County of Los Angeles also includes areas that are not cities, we call them unincorporated areas. The County has about 11 million residents and encompasses about 4,750 square miles. That is more land mass than some states. It is in fact twice the size of Maryland.
Do you understand that your taxes are paying for a future where you are monitored all day by the government and private industry? Do you know that your taxes are paying to eliminate your jobs if you are in the transportation industry.
Let me explain. Right now towns throughout the United States are paying ten times as much to stripe their crosswalks so that self driving cars will know where the lanes are. There has been NO media reporting on how we are all spending more to paint the streets rather than pave them. Now you are about to take your sales tax and use it to pay to monitor your movements.

Watch the video, it is 3 minutes long. It has the mayor of Boston talking to someone from Soofa on a bench installed in Boston and ends with the people of Boston being asked where they want their benches installed without once discussing price or how your tax dollars are going to pay for them.
A smart city knows when you leave your house, where you are going, when you get there and adjusts to give preference to some over others. It exists to make personal transportation, cars, harder to use for everyone but those who pay extra.
Here is some news for you, cities live off of sales taxes and parking fines along with fees for permits. Counties live off of property taxes, fees and fines. States live off of income tax, sales tax, fees and fines. The federal government lives off of income tax. The wealthy pay no more sales, fees of fines than the rest of us. You can only buy so many cars per year. Sales taxes fall more on the poor and middle class than on the wealthy. Income tax falls on them. They have to pay as they benefit. They don't like that which is why they are against income tax. It is also why 95% of all deductions only apply to the wealthy.
The people in charge want to monitor you and they want you to pay for it. That is why municipalities are using sales tax to pay for it when at the same time they are claiming they cannot pay for teachers or roads to be repaired. The working and middle class are paying to eliminate the 3.2 million jobs in transportation, your local taxes are paying to build the infrastructure to monitor and control you.
Last night a conservative, gay speaker name Milo Yiannopoulos was prohibited from speaking at U.C. Berkley by rioters. This is ironic in that Berkley was the home of the free speech movement in the 1960s. It is also ironic in that many, if not most of the protestors, would tell you that the internet should be free and not have speech restricted.
Many will assume that the protestors are just a bunch of crazy Californian liberals; but, that would be a mistake. In fact, the U.C. campuses have been increasing the number of out of state students for years in order to increase revenue as in state people pay less. The cost to attend Berkley for non residents is about $60,000 a year, the cost for residents is about $23,000 a year according to their website. The average household income is about $50,000. So, how many families can afford to send their kid to UC Berkley, not too many. It is way beyond the reach of most middle class families and is getting even more remote.
Lets consider the reality of a college education for the middle class. Well, to begin with if they take out loans they could end up with a quarter of a million in debt and the opportunity to make eight dollars an hour. The higher education system is a business anymore, it is about branding and selling. It is a privilege which is very much limited to the children of the well to do and the colleges sell them on the idea of a good time. College is no longer as strenuous or difficult as it once was and the focus of classes has moved from business and science to social issues. As it becomes harder and harder for middle class families to send their children to college, the colleges themselves become populated more and more by the privileged and those children become less and less exposed to the middle class.
The people protesting at Berkley and now worried about manufacturing or farming jobs in the United States, they are much more likely to be interested in starting or working for internet companies. We are creating an America of two classes which are completely removed from one another and that is dangerous in many ways. What are the shared interests? Can we find common ground when there is no shared interests? The truth is that Americans attending UC Berkley have more in common with students who go their from other countries whose families are well off than they do with the middle class in most of this country and certainly than with those in the Midwest.
What we are witnessing is the effects of the technological revolution in the same way that the industrial revolution split this country into different classes with different interests. Look beyond the simple left right paradigm and look at the class paradigm or you will not understand what is going on.
Hillary could have won. The Democrats could have won the senate and house. Part of the reason they failed was because they ignored and insulted the future of the party, people who wanted change. Hillary promised no change.
Do you remember the Occupy movement? Do you remember their issues. They wanted an end to trade agreements that leave them without jobs and they wanted the banks to be regulated more. She promised neither of those things and in fact, the exact opposite. They assumed Sanders people would support her no matter what she did and that did not work out.
As for the protests. They are meaningless and silly. You do not see protests by blacks in Detroit because they don't want to see more auto jobs being outsourced. We saw protests in Philadelphia (the City of brotherly love?); but, not in Pittsburg because they want manufacturing jobs back. We did see protests in Berkley and Los Angeles because those places are not manufacturing centers and are doing pretty well. The protests are happening where the few are doing well, not where the many are doing poorly. That is the group that voted for Trump, the people who have had to bear the consequences of the disappearing jobs, high unemployment and lack of opportunity.
The Midwest is in shambles. Not because of sexism, xenophobia, racism or any other ism. The Midwest is in trouble because all the good jobs left the vast middle of this country that sits between New York and Los Angeles. Those are the people who voted for Trump and would have voted for Sanders if they had been given the chance.
Foreign Policy is a magazine for the establishment and "experts". In other words it is the garbage that the people who believe they are entitled to run your life read. The title pretty much says it all. The subtitle is, "The Brexit has laid bare the political schism of our time. It’s not about the left vs. the right; it’s about the sane vs. the mindlessly angry." The battle is not the left versus the right, it is the haves against the have not's and the truth is that fewer and fewer in this country are amongst the haves and the number of have not's is increasing as we send jobs overseas.
The bottom line is that the establishment does not care what you think and does not like the fact that we have the right to vote against their wishes. That is the battle and the media is complicit in working against the average persons best interests. That will be the great take away from this election once it is over.
This election has been one of the most interesting in history. Contrary to popular belief we have in fact seen more contentious ones; but, this is right up there. After one election Aaron Burr shot Alexander Hamilton. That was a bit more contentious than today and quickly forgotten by our current media.
This election will be over in a scant few days and there will be much to ask about what it all meant and what it means going forward. For me my focus has been the corporate globalist media and their aversion to discussing the issues and choosing to focus on scandal and personality. Their assumption is that the issues will go away after the election, they will not.
Lets start with the simplest thing of all, what do the people really care about. The truth is illegal immigration, the economy and the middle east are at the top of the average persons concerns. Should we secure the border, should we allow illegal aliens to have citizenship while making legal aliens wait years and what effect does this have on employment. Those are real questions, your answer to those questions will vary; but, these are real issues. As for the wars in the middle east the questions are also simple. Should we get out of the middle east, should we accept hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants from these countries, should we become more active in the Syria civil war. Again these are all valid questions and attitudes will vary.
The biggest issue is always the same, it is the economy stupid as was said in previous years. Do Americans benefit from the trade deals we have been making? Can we and should we stop outsourcing of jobs overseas, should we put limits on the banking system, should we change the tax code or continue allowing multinational corporations to hide money overseas to avoid taxation. These are long term questions that will affect your children and grandchildren.
When Trump and Sanders jointed this election I said that it was an expression of the same frustrations that led to the Occupy Wall Street and the Tea Party movements are they are. The derision that both these movements were met with by the corporate globalist media continued with the Trump and Sanders campaigns. I regret that the media has avoided these issues as it spells the death of well funded news media. While the aging baby boomers may have an inordinate number of voters, the reality is that the future will be determined by the millennials long term and they are not getting a fair deal and they know it.
Regardless of which candidate you personally like, we are not voting for a person, we are voting for the policies they represent and that will tell out. If Hillary wins, we will see the banks continue to go unregulated, an increase in "free trade" agreements that allow jobs to be shipped overseas and an anemic limited reduction in school loan costs at best. If Trump is elected we will see the congress pass trade agreements, he veto and congress override the veto. The neocons in congress have already made it clear that they want more immigration of people into the tech industry and trade agreements that limit the power of the federal government to regulate industry regardless of what Trump proposes.
The reality is that Presidents do not make the laws, congress does. My readers may have noticed that I rarely discuss the current President, that is because he is just one cog in a much bigger machine. That will not change. The truth is things will not change until the parites change and become more democratic (this is true even if new parties emerge).
After this election serious discussion still needs to be had about how the party establishments wanted to ignore the publics vote. If anything the resentment by the corporate media and the party establishment over the citizens having the right to choose what their government does highlights just how little respect they have for democracy and that may be the single biggest issue that has not been addressed.
There is one more thing that will continue to be addressed after this election and that is the media taking sides. It has come out that certain people passed on debate questions to Hillary Clinton in advance of the debates, that is pretty serious and disturbing. I believe it is going to be impossible for the media to claim that they are even remotely objective when it comes to elections and that is sad. The alternative media does not need to or even attempt to claim objectivity; but, the mass media is only paid attention to because we believe they will at least attempt to provide the facts, that has gone by the wayside. As I have said before, I do not believe it is a liberal media and that is certainly the wrong lesson to learn from this. It is a corporate media owned by globalist interests and has become monopolistic with six companies owning 90% of the media in all of the United States. The nation needs an objective media if it is to be a healthy democracy and after this election, no matter who wins, their bias and slant will still be discussed and remembered even by those who agree with them.
Open Society Foundations - Get the Politics Out of Policing. The article basically promotes having local police placed under national oversight. Hmmm. I am against militarizing the police and nationalizing them. I like the idea of local control, at least that way we can vote on who the Mayor is and let him know how we want the police to be managed. The bigger trend and the reason behind the weakening of rules on the police is so they will need to be nationalized. In the end, you get to choose whether or not you want all power centralized.
Bloomberg - This Was the Week the World Got Really Anxious About Globalization's Future. This is the real issue that is at stake. Just to be clear, the world did not get really anxious, the wealthy did because they are afraid that people might put an end to trade agreements that only hurt the United States and the west. MSN - Reuters - Sanders supporters seethe over Clinton's leaked remarks to Wall St. The title is true, here is what the writers say about millennials, "I’d like to meet the Bernie Sanders supporter who is going to say, 'Well I’m a little worried about her on international trade, so I’m going to vote for Donald Trump'," he said." The truth came out that Hillary is pro open borders, pro free trade agreement and wants a North American Union similar to the European Union. These are not the things she says to millennials, only what she says to wealthy donors.
I am going to tell you a secret, Hillary Clinton does not get the youth vote. Nope, millennials do not like her, trust her or believe she will create jobs for them. That last part is the key, millennials know they are getting screwed and they know the status quo does not benefit them. Her response to them is to say that they live in their parents basements (yes, she is actually on tape saying that) or that millennial men are Bernie bros who go to his events just to get women. Wow.
Here is the issue for millennials and it is not college tuition. The issue for millennials is whether or not there will be good jobs for them that they can retire from, that is the new American dream. They don't dream about a three bedroom house with a white picket fence and three children, they dream about a job that lets them live in an apartment by themselves and not need roommates, they dream about being able to promote if they work hard. They dream about having a decent future and being able to retire someday. I don't consider that outrageous or privileged. Hillary is not offering that or even coming up with plans that are aimed at that.
The above is why millennials went for Sanders or Trump; but, not Hillary or Jeb. The media is owned by six multinational corporations and they have never cared for Sanders, millennials or Americans. The millennials were the first to complain about the trade agreements and protest them, they were ridiculed by the media. The millennials were the founders of the Occupy Movement and the media made fun of them. The millennials voted for Sanders and Trump and the media made fun of them. Tonight I watched both Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert make fun of millennials for not supporting Hillary, yeah, good luck in the ratings long term, they will remember your mocking them. Contrary to what these two idiots think, millennials know they are getting screwed and they are right that Hillary won't even attempt to change that as she is a corporatist. Hey, Meyers, Colbert, you are now officially whores of the corporate media, you know, that thing you used to make fun of until you joined it to make millions. No wonder you side with politicians who have also sold their souls.
By the way, did you know that Hillary had called for a wall to be built between Mexico and the United States? Yep and a very liberal person named Jimmy Dore even posted the video and he intends to vote for Hillary. If you want to see where she said it go to 1:50 into the video, that is the first video of her talking about it, wait a minute and you can see the second one where she actually says a wall.
Remember the real focus in on the media. Lets talk about them a little bit more. Lets start with this video of celebrities telling who you can and cannot vote for, not who they support but who you cannot vote for.
Geez, isn't it nice to have so many celebrities and people in power telling you who you are not allowed to vote for? Now here is the real question, who the hell are these people to say who we can and cannot vote for? Do they not believe in democracy? I do not tell my friends who wish to vote for Hillary that they cannot or attempt to shame them, that is tyrannical behavior. I don't even bother telling people who like Hillary about all of her crimes or flaws.
It is funny how the most "liberal" of us are the most dismissive of millennials, of the young people who will have to live in this country when we die off. Those in power seek to leave them a country where only college graduates have good jobs and few middle class people will be able to afford college. If you don't have connections you will not get an even halfway decent job. That is what millennials are being left with. Oh, I forgot and the people competing for those jobs will be from other countries because the Democratic party believes in open borders today.
Here is the amusing part. The mass media is killing itself because it is alienating it's future viewers, the millennials. It is a shame, when we had a diversified media and news was not entertainment, it thrived. Now that six companies own 90% of our media we only hear the same talking points as are used by the establishment and the young people have noticed. Goodbye heyday of newspapers. Goodbye heyday of broadcast news. Goodbye sensible diversity. Monopolies destroy true freedom of thought and action.
Forbes - Robert Shiller Unwittingly Helps Write The Obituary Of Economics As A Profession. Forbes is a magazine that is read by people with money just like the Wall Street Journal or Bloomberg. Their focus tends to be on the stock market and their advertisers sell high end products like Rolex. The article claims that Economics is a dying profession because Mr. Shiller believes income inequality will become a greater problem down the road. The article claims that concern over income inequality is foolish and that people therefore don't need good jobs because if products are cheap enough your lifestyle improves. That did not happen during the industrial revolution. People who lived in poverty in the cities during the industrial revolution were worse off than they were when they had family farms. It was only after the monopolies were broken up and the progressive movement began restraining oligarchic businesses that the middle class really emerged. Things may have been cheaper during the depression; but, lives were not better. Still, let me poke you in the eye and tell you it doesn't hurt.

This is a quote from the article, "Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton criticized Republican rival Donald Trump on Tuesday for making comments about the Federal Reserve's monetary policies, which she said should be off-limits for U.S. presidents and presidential candidates." There you have it, she believes the President should not talk about monetary policy, maybe that's why she never does or maybe it is because of all the money she made from the banks to pay for this election. I wonder if the people who supported Sanders agree with her because he talked about it.

The author seems to believe that Trump supporters are upset because blacks and women are doing better than in the past while white men are not. The media wants to make this election about personalities and that is not what it is about. We have been lied to for a long time and the lies are running thin. We are told the talking point that the wealthy are the "job creators"; but, all the jobs are being created overseas and not here. We are told that wanting to control immigration is racist, yet, we need to have passports to even visit Mexico. The truth is that few if any Americans favor open borders, yet, those statistics are never reported.
If you can, tell me what Hillary Clinton's policies are. You cannot because she does not make policy speeches. In fact, she doesn't even give press conferences (it has been almost a year since she last did). Some on the right believe the media has a liberal bias, I do not. I believe that the fact that Bill Clinton deregulated the media allowed it to become a monopoly where six companies control 90% of all the media in America and that media is multinational and corporatist.
Telling young people that things are improving just isn't convincing when in many cities it costs $2,000 or more to rent a one bedroom apartment and the only jobs they can get pay $8 an hour. You cannot tell kids that things are looking up when over half of the people under 30 have to live at home and many of them have college degrees; but, still cannot get jobs or even pay their student loans. These are the things that this election is about, not whether or not Trump likes his stakes cooked well done.
If all the media was state owned you would expect it to be pro-government. If all the media was owned by China, you would expect it to be pro-China. The media is owned by multinational companies and is pro-multinational corporations. It is not too difficult to see if you just look and read what their spin is. Hillary Clinton does not need to spin the media, they spin for their own reasons in her favor and the reason is that they do not want change.

It was the younger people who first began complaining about the 1%, they also were the first to point out how the trade agreements were taking away jobs from America. If you think they stopped believing those things than you do not understand the Trump or Sanders revolutions.

We, the western world, is quickly approaching a period where we will not need many manual laborers. While think tanks such as the Brookings Institute are willing to discuss the issue, there is little if anything said by the mass media or even the alternative media. As the use of artificial intelligence (AI) increases, even jobs that were thought to be white collar, decision making jobs will disappear at a faster and faster pace.

Now, we are constantly told that there just isn't enough money to pay to take care of people and the word used in Europe is austerity. We are told we cannot afford healthcare, pensions, social security, disability, food stamps or welfare. We are told that so much by the six media conglomerates that you might actually believe it; but, the real issue is slightly different.
Trading Economics - United States GDP. The chart shows U.S. GDP since 2006 when the economy was barreling along prior to the crash. In 2006 the GDP was at 13,855 billion dollars for the year and it has gone up every years since except one. Today the GDP is at 17,947 billion dollars. That means the United States has actually increased it's GDP; but, we have not seen this result in higher paying jobs or more spending on public services. There is a reason for this, most of the money that has been made since the crash went only to the top 1% with the greatest majority of it going to the top.01% and their tax rates have been going down by a lot.
The facts are why the rich are panicking. What they really fear is that they have sent jobs overseas and now the only way to pay for services in this country is to tax them. Their choice is to instead hide profit overseas and call for the elimination of public services other than the police, fire and the military who they believe are needed to protect them. This is also why the same is going on in Europe.
President Obama and late night pundits are all reading the same talking points and saying that Republicans should say to Trump that they have had enough. The fact is that many Republicans and Democrats are saying they have had enough. They have had enough of a system which is destroying the middle class and opportunities in this country.
The establishment is throwing a hissy fit over Trump and Sanders supporters for not listening to them. This election is not about the candidates, they are merely an expression. This election, in the voters mind, is about seeking real change, not promised change. This election is about whether or not the government is going to work for the interests of the majority of the people or just the donors. That is what the media is not addressing.
Calling Trump a racist (which he is not) or Sanders a communist (which he is not) is not resonating with the voters because what the voters are saying is that the current system is rigged (which it is) and that they have had enough of it. Trump may not win; but, the issues that are driving the voters will not go away, it will only intensify.
