News Dump Friday. LOL. Good stuff going on you should know about.

No fancy post today, just cleaning up all the articles that I have been saving for you.

Fortune - Paris Wants to Ban the Combustion Engine by 2030.  Yes, the City of Paris, not the country or province is making this decision on their own.

Fortune - France to Ban Sale of Gas Vehicles by 2040. Here is a line from this article, "The announcement follows Volvo’s announcement on Wednesday that it planned to cease making gas-powered cars and trucks and would instead only make electronic and hybrid vehicles starting in 2019."

Bloomberg - California Considers Following China With Combustion-Engine Car Ban. It might be a really bad time to invest in a new gas station.

Bloomberg - U.K. Joins France, Says Goodbye to Fossil-Fuel Cars by 2040.  Don't worry, you won't have to think about this too much because you are never going to get a chance to vote on it.

MSN - AP - Trump lashes out at Puerto Rico as House passes aid package. Remember the whole Trump Puerto Rico thing? Probably not too much as since then the media has moved onto football players kneeling during the national anthem (Trump's fault), the Las Vegas shooting (Trump's fault) and the President calling the spouse of a dead soldier (Trump's screw up). The story of last week was Harvey Weinstein and funny thing, most corporate mainstream media outlets made sure to make the story about Trump. What a shock. I tell you what, check the media's truthfulness with this simple test. Everytime something bad happens in the next two months see how it ends up being a complaint about Trump or his administration. By the way, we have just committed $35 Billion to repairing Puerto Rico and Trump signed it. That is roughly equivalent to half the national debt of Puerto Rico. The mayor who lashed out at Trump by he way, hasn't thanked the President or this country for the money that I have seen.

The Sacramento Bee - California secessionists think their path to independence is easier than Catalonia’s. California is not going to secede. The money behind this is the tech industry, they don't want to be taxed.

MSN - Bloomberg - This country has plenty of jobs. Where are all the workers?  Here is the narrative they are attempting to sell. Sweden has taken in hundreds of thousands of migrants; but, still can't fill their jobs. Somehow I don't think bringing I more unskilled Arab workers is going to fix this problem. Many of the migrants, if not most, do not speak or write Swedish.

Washintonian - The Washington Post’s New Social Media Policy Forbids Disparaging Advertisers.  Corporate media like the Washington Post, frequently call for censoring the internet and apparently even what their employees say on their own time; but, think it is outrageous that Trump thought the FCC (which is responsible for regulating the airwaves, not cable or the internet) should look at whether or not media conglomerates should have their licenses reviewed when they post knowingly false stories. The concept is that they want to regulate free speech unless they have approved it.

CNET - Jeffrey Katzenberg: Harvey Weinstein 'not a lone actor'. By paragraph two of the article it becomes about Trump.

MSN - Washington Post - Analysis | Longtime foes on foreign policy, McCain and Biden form alliance against Trumpism.  For his part, McCain who has made his career pushing nationalism to get elected now says that nationalism is bad and we should be internationalist. While Biden (from a different article) who has long claimed to be for the average guy is now promoting elitism and says populism (democracy) is the problem. There is no left or right, just globalist working for international corporations.

Julia Reda - What the Commission found out about copyright infringement but ‘forgot’ to tell us.  While the article is interesting as it pertains to copyright, the thing that stuck out for me was that the EU was considering requiring internet providers to use filters that prevent people from uploading material to the internet that hasn't been checked for copyright infringement. The same filter could be used to prevent other things from being uploaded.

Yahoo - Reuters - U.S. bill to regulate internet ads gains bipartisan support with McCain.  McCain is so full of it. Lets go back a bit. PC Magazine - McCain Bill Would Ban FCC Internet Regulations. That article is from 2009.

Huffington Post - What The Hell Was This Rachel Maddow Segment?  I am not even going to comment. It is pretty bad when the uberliberal Huffington Post has to call out uberliberal Trump hating Rachel Maddow for making stuff up about him.

Yahoo - AFP - G7, tech giants agree on plan to block jihadist content online. Here is a line from the article, "While acknowledging progress had been made, Britain's Home Secretary Amber Rudd insisted "companies need to go further and faster to not only take down extremist content but also stop it being uploaded in the first place"." Now if all you read was this article, you might miss this line or the fact that the EU wants to regulate what you can upload as is pointed out in one of the articles above. They want to regulate copyright material and anything that is not acceptable in their eyes; but, the excuse is to fight terrorists.

I have never attempted to hide what I believe in on this blog. I will restate it. I believe in strong national borders, a flat income tax with no deductions, taxing inheritances (you really are not entitled to your parents money), free trade or college education for all, universal healthcare, nationalizing any company that refuses to return it's taxes to the US, freedom of speech (on and off the internet using the same legal precedent - you cannot libel people or engage in a criminal conspiracy) and that we should have a new WPA (government jobs for all rebuilding our infrastructure and building the infrastructure of the future, including sending people to Mars). I believe in reasonable gun control, I do believe people have a right to own guns for hunting and self protection (even though I am a pacifist). I was against the war in Iraq. I have written about all of these things, except the Mars thing, I am going to post on that soon enough. I doubt very much that Trump would agree with me on most of these items; but, I will continue to call out the oligarchical media for lying about him. Read my next post about labor.

Smart Cities and Automated Labor.

Curbed Los Angeles - City Council votes to dedicate $27M to Vision Zero, its plan to end traffic deaths.  Vision Zero, ever hear of it? Nope, you probably have not. It is a multinational plan, not a Los Angeles plan, not a state plan and not a national plan. It's avowed purpose is to make streets safer; but, it's real intent is to make the streets friendly to self-driving vehicles and keep personal vehicles out of the major cities. They don't tell you that. Here is a couple of lines from the article.

"Buscaino said he wants to prepare LA for driverless cars with a “smart streets” strategy, which could employ sensors, kiosks, and other tech designed for automated vehicles.

(It should be noted that if the streets were truly smart, they would also be dramatically reduced in size, as autonomous vehicles will not need as much on-street parking and the ability to share them would mean far fewer cars on the road.)" Yep, your tax money at work to stop you from using the roads."

Smart Cities Dive - Pump the brakes: Cities aim to eliminate traffic fatalities with Vision Zero goals. Some general information about which cities are instituting Vision Zero.

Los Angeles Daily News - Botts’ Dots, after a half-century, will disappear from freeways, highways. You know the little bumps that are used to separate lanes and remind you that you are crossing into another lane, they are going to get rid of them and thereby make it safer for self-driving cars and more dangerous for human controlled cars. Do you see the pattern to all of this yet?

FOX - Stan the robotic parking valet gets to work at Paris airport.

Yahoo - AFP - First robotic cop joins Dubai police.  Robotic cops do what they are told. Do you think repressive governments will use them to control people? Just think how many people Stalin, Hitler and Mau could have killed with no regrets and no push back from the police or soldiers.

MSN - Marketwatch - When Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg sound the same dire warning about jobs, it’s time to listen.  They ask a simple question, how will people find a sense of purpose when their labor is no longer needed. As the article points out, the issue of a laborless future is being looked at today by CEOs. For me the problem is that the majority people can't see it coming or be involved in the discussion until they do.

Reuters - Waymo working on self-driving trucks.  Waymo is part of Google.

The Kansas City Star - About half of all U.S. retail jobs could vanish due to computerization, analysis finds. The real issue of the future will not be a minimum wage, it will be any wage.

Daily Mail - Artificial intelligence will outperform humans in all tasks in just 45 years and could take over EVERY job in the next century, experts claim.  This is what is driving all of the changes you are seeing and you don't know it.

Geek.com - Elon Musk: Automation Will Force Universal Basic Income. Must is one of the good guys; but, "conservatives" hate his idea. The money won't come from your taxes because you won't have a job.

The big question remains. What do we do as a society when we no longer need people's labor. It is a moral question and a structural one and if you don't think about it, you will not have a say in it.

Bilderberg 2017 and the Logan Act.

Today the Bilderberg Group publicly listed a number of people scheduled to attend this year's meeting. The meeting will be held June 1 to 4, 2017 in Chantilly, Virginia. A list of participants can be found on their site. Bilderberg 2017 Participants. The Finnish Minister of Transport and Communication will be their along with Tiankai Cui, the Chinese ambassador to the United States, Sandro Gozi, the Italian State Secretary for European Affairs, Senator Lindsey Graham, Christine LeGarde (Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund) and assorted other officials from foreign countries. Their agenda is as follows:
  1. The Trump Administration: A progress report
  2. Trans-Atlantic relations: options and scenarios
  3. The Trans-Atlantic defence alliance: bullets, bytes and bucks
  4. The direction of the EU
  5. Can globalisation be slowed down?
  6. Jobs, income and unrealised expectations
  7. The war on information
  8. Why is populism growing?
  9. Russia in the international order
  10. The Near East
  11. Nuclear proliferation
  12. China
  13. Current events
Remember when it turned out that General Flynn had talked to a Russian ambassador and the media started saying he had violated the Logan Act which forbids unauthorized people from negotiating with foreign governments. Heck, newspapers called for Trump's impeachment for violating it. Well, I wrote that I would bring up the issue again when Bilderberg met next. That is now. Let's play who can we put in jail. John Brennan of the Kissinger Associates, Senator Tom Cotton, Kenneth Griffin of the Citadel Group, David Rubenstein of the Carlyle Group, Eric Schmidt of the Alphabet Inc formerly called Google, and a variety of other Americans going there to discuss foreign affairs with foreign diplomats in private.

Will MSNBC, CNN, the New York Times or the Washington Post be reporting on the possibility that international affairs will be discussed in violation of the Logan Act? Nope, they won't even barely report on the meeting. Flynn was the incoming Secretary of Defense and he spoke to the Russian ambassador and they called for his head. Why is Eric Schmidt allowed to meet in private with the Ambassador from China, he has never been elected to office, does he have President Trump's authorization? If not, he is violating the Logan Act.

ALL the people who called for Flynn's prosecution under the Logan Act will say nothing about it now. Why? Because they are hypocrites? No, because they are flat out liars and know the Logan Act probably would not stand up in court today, just like it hasn't been used in about 200 years. That is the essence of this whole Russia Trump media game. Come back in five days and we will go over all those who call for prosecuting the American attendees at Bilderberg. You won't find anyone in corporate media doing it, not even Keith Olberman.

Now lets discuss the agenda for this year's Bilderberg meeting. Item one is a discussion of Trump and his administration. Yes, a group of globalists are discussing what they think of a nationalist. I bet they don't like him. They will also be discussing whether or not globalization can be "slowed down" and why populism is growing (as opposed to elitism). You see, your betters don't like it when you don't vote the way they want you to, they don't like the idea of democracy. The most telling thing they will discuss is, "Jobs, income and unrealized expectation". Short answer is they are discussing that there will be fewer and fewer jobs, the concept of universal welfare and how people will be pissed when they have no opportunity to get ahead (unrealized expectations). They will be discussing the things I have been writing about for eight years that are not discussed in the mass corporate media. They will be discussing the future or all of us and you will not know what is specifically said because nobody takes notes or repeats what was discussed there.

Jobs, Water and Banking. Things you should follow.

Washington Examiner - Jeb Bush warns robots taking US jobs is not science fiction.  Jeb points out that 38% of the jobs could be gone in the next decade. His answer, more education. The truth, not everyone can learn to be a computer programmer well enough to start their own game company. If the average IQ is 100 then half the people on earth have IQs that are lower than that. How many people with IQs of 80 can we really expect to become scientists or computer programmers? Jeb also wants Trump to bring up the issue; but, not do anything to address it.

PWC-  Up to 30% of existing UK jobs could be impacted by automation by early 2030s, but this should be offset by job gains elsewhere in economy. Basically, tech people are saying the same thing as Bush. Funny thing is none of them can tell you why we will need the same number of employees when all the manufacturing and physically strenuous labor jobs are gone or why we would suddenly need ten times as many people in tech jobs. They do admit the rich will get richer; but, ignore the poor getting poorer as much as possible.

Las Vegas Sun - Water officials to crack down on overuse of private wells.  In 2009 Nevada began planning on regulating the use of wells on people's private property.

Pahrump Valley Times - Voluntary well metering urged.  In 2014 a county in Nevada decides they don't want to follow state law and issue water permits for people using private wells.

Pahrump Valley Times - Well owners, utilities quarrel over water plans.

mynews4.com - Hundreds voice opinions on recommendations to meter Nevada wells.

Bloomberg - Cohn Backs Wall Street Split of Lending, Investment Banks.  There are fears on Wall Street that the Trump administration wants to bring back Glass Steagall. We would not have had the crash if Glass Steagall had not been gutted by the Republicans and Democrats.

Born in Debt

I want to ask a question. If in the future almost all jobs are automated, which nation gets the revenue from taxes?  I will ask that in another way. Nations make money to take care of people from taxes. We tax everyone; except those who have no money, no income. You cannot get blood from a stone. What happens when you don't need people's labor, when they have nothing to sell?

You are born in this world with 2 things, your mind and your body, that is it. Society tells us that we are born in debt, at least most of us. We are told that every child born owes X amount because of our national debts. That is garbage. You cannot be born in debt. Debt is an illusion. Debt without an agreement by both parties is slavery. You might be able to sell yourself into slavery morally; but, you cannot be born into it morally.

If someone is born today, why should they respect ownership of the world by those who were born before them? Read that slowly. How does being born mean you owe others? That is silly. Being born means owing nothing to anyone else. If your mother's vagina is attached to a queen or king, you are born owning lots of stuff. How is that right? How do we allow some people to be born with no options or chances and others to be born with all options and no chance of going without. Do you think Prince Harry's kids could possibly end up homeless and with nothing?

I don't know if my readers can see my real point. If all jobs are automated, do newborn babies wake up with debt and no way to pay it? This is about inherited wealth and real privilege. It is about why we should not accept a rigged where we start with nothing and others start with everything. The world is not based on merit, it is based on dishonest and unfair advantage by a few.

Let's Weaken Democricy

Telegraph - US climate commitment 'irreversible', Francois Hollande warns Donald Trump.  After Trump was elected President, the President of France said that we have no choice but to agree to the Paris agreement on the environment. Lets be very clear, treaties only become treaties after congress approves them and the President signs them. The Paris Accords ARE NOT LAW and this moron knows that. He said if we don't go along with them as if they were law that France might put a tariff on the United States. This man is a globalist piece of garbage who does not respect people right to vote or democracy. That was stated in another article; but, I forgot to save it.

MSN - The Los Angeles Times - Secessionists formally launch quest for California's independence. The media tried to portray this as an anti-Trump thing; but, it is nonsense. In fact this movement has been going on for two years, even before Trump said he would run for office. There was a separate movement to break up California into 6 states. The same people are behind both of these, they are the tech industry leaders trying to take over control and weaken control over them.

Yahoo - Business Insider - Californians might vote in 2018 on taking steps toward secession in a 'Calexit'.

RT - Ex-PM John Major: Brexit terms can’t be decided by ‘tyranny of majority’.  The "tyranny" of the majority is what we call democracy.  I will repeat what I have said many times before, the owners do not like you voting or wish to hear your opinion.

Yahoo - Christian Science Monitor - Why India's prime minister wants a cashless society.  60% of Indians want to keep cash. A couple of years ago I linked to an article about how India was in the process of getting biometric data on all of it's citizens and was getting ready to finish the process. I guess they finished it because the biometrics is your identification when we all go cashless. While I have talked a lot about the election in the past year, I have written about the move to cashless since the blog began and there are many posts about it.

MSN - Market Watch -  Opinion: Why deporting millions of people would be bad for U.S. workers.  The argument they make is that if we repatriated people here illegally to their own nations they would no longer buy goods here. The reality is that businesses want them here because they don't get paid as much or have any protections. This has always been the reality for them. The companies see them as a commodity like grapes, same as they see the rest of us.

Yahoo - Bloomberg - Is It Simpler Than Obamacare? California’s Retirement Mandate.  Five states are considering offering voluntary retirement plans to their citizens. The big money is split on this. Some in finance like the idea as long as they get to invest your money and others don't want it because if you are saving you are not spending.

International Business Times - How To Keep Trump From Becoming President? 25th Amendment Could Declare Republican Mentally Unfit.  Your owners don't like Trump and don't want him to put Americans first. They don't like democracy.

Daily Mail - Russia is developing a mega-rocket that will transport supplies to build a base on the MOON, Deputy PM reveals.  We are richer than Russia and yet, refuse to have a real space program that would provide people with jobs in aerospace that don't involve bombing other countries.
Fox 5 - California regulates cow farts.  It has nothing to do with climate change in reality, it is about increasing the cost for meat. Peasants don't need meat.

Forbes - Thanks To 'Fight For $15' Minimum Wage, McDonald's Unveils Job-Replacing Self-Service Kiosks Nationwide.  Well to begin with, the title of the article is a lie. These kiosks were begun prior to the fight for $15 an hour. Pure and utter propaganda.

The Washington Post - Trump’s populism is about to face a rude awakening.

The talk about Trump being racist, xenophobic, sexist and whatever else is ending and the real issues continue to expose themselves. This is about the rich versus the poor. It is about business versus the workers. It is about oligarchy versus democracy. That has never changed as long as the world has been around.

A New Era and Not For You

MSN - Reuters - Looming digital regulation has US truck industry scrambling.  Regulations are used to create monopolies and crush smaller businesses. Now, the federal government is looking to regulate all trucking via electronic monitoring of drivers hours.

NBC - CIA Prepping for Possible Cyber Strike Against Russia.  This is the insanity that the globalists believe in.

BBC - Scientists plan to create 'Asgardia' nation state in space.  So they want to launch a satellite in space, claim it as a country (although nobody will live there) and then claim that people are citizens of this non-country to avoid taxes and laws. If it happens then remove it's "citizens" from this planet.

MSN - Vox.com. - Why we need to plan for a future without jobs.

MSN - Reuters - Trump vows to weaken U.S. media 'power structure' if elected.  And what is wrong with breaking up monopolies? Nothing. History has taught us that monopolies and allowing price fixing and collusion is harmful to societies.

New York Times - The Rich Vote Republican? Maybe Not This Election.  The reality is that people vote their pocket book whether they are rich, middle class or poor and the rich see it to their advantage to vote for Hillary because they know she will protect their interests.

MSN - USA Today - Self-driving semi-truck makes first trip — a 120-mile beer run.  3.5 million jobs will be lost once this is fully available.

Because You Don't Matter, Your Vote Shouldn't Either

Washington Examiner - Trucker shortage prompts calls for driverless big rigs.  You will hear these excuses more and more as the jobs go away. There is NO trucker problem that cannot be cured by paying good people to do a job. What was the last pay increase truckers saw and by how much. If you pay them, they will come. Trucking companies want to go driverless, the rest is just propaganda.

The Mercury News - Fully autonomous self-driving cars get lift from Gov. Jerry Brown   What a shock, you and I are paying to help create the infrastructure for self-driving vehicles and most people still think it is an illusion.

Psychology Today - Autistics as Undomesticated Humans.  Here is the opening line from the article, "Autistic authors often describe themselves as aliens from outer space, but remarkable new research (link is external) by Antonio Benítez-Burraco, Wanda Lattanzi, and Elliot Murphy suggests that people diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) might more accurately be described as less domesticated members of our own, self-domesticated species." Now, lets just discuss that. I must first admit that I am autistic. Getting past that, consider what we are being told, that some people are not "domesticated" in a world where we self-domesticate. The presumption seems to be that the world works because we control one another, that we live by fear of being different. That is elitism, see it when it rears it's head because baby, you are not one of the elite.

The Atlantic - Humans Won't Ever Live Far Beyond 115 Years.  Something I have been saying for years, the average age has increased; but, the max number of years has not moved at all.

CNBC - World Bank president: Globalization not the root of all evil it's made out to be.  Nope, he thinks it is our salvation and doesn't like Trump or the Brexit and believes those may change the worlds economy by holding back globalization. I didn't know the future of the world was so fragile that Britain being an independent nation could destroy the future or that who we pick as president could destroy countries working together, is America the only country? We are not even the number one producer.

The Hill - Obama rips Trump's 'crude populism'.  The alternative is of course crude elitism, I guess he prefers that. Obama was the first black elitist president and if Hillary wins, she will be the first elitist female president. An elitist is and elitist.

MSN - The Hill - UN makes power play against Donald Trump.  The article is really about how they don't want you to have a say in the rules you live under. It begins by saying how a law will go into effect before we elect our next president and how we can never undo that law. That is bs.

9/24/16 Where We Are Headed

The Washington Post - The GOP has become a pity party for white males.  The wealthy have always considered the working class to be reprehensible and dirty, the unwashed masses is how they used to refer to them. Now the establishment and corporate media have a new way of saying it. If you are working class then you are hateful, scared, stupid and just don't understand that you have to be in high tech to be successful. The vilification of Trump supporters is very much akin to how the French monarchy dealt with their citizens until the whole system was taken down. Democracy means being concerned about all citizens and not just your betters. Many Republicans did not vote for Romney because he disregarded half of our citizens. Hillary's mistake and the corporate media is in thinking that working class Democratic voters do not know that she considers them deplorables and useless too.

The Washington Post - At U.N., Obama offers a defense of a liberal world order under siege.  Obama will be gone soon; but, you should remember that Obama did not create multinational corporations or globalization, he is just another proponent of it.

Bloomberg - Get Ready for Freeways That Ban Human Drivers.  Here is one of the most important paragraphs from the post. "This week, technology industry veterans proposed a ban on human drivers on a 150-mile (241-kilometer) stretch of Interstate 5 from Seattle to Vancouver. Within five years, human driving could be outlawed in congested city centers like London, on college campuses and at airports, said Kristin Schondorf, executive director of automotive transportation at consultant EY." This is the second most important paragraph in the post, "To speed the transition, governments may give drivers financial incentives to replace their cars with autonomous vehicles, similar to the Cash for Clunkers program offered in 2009 to get gas guzzlers off the road, Google’s Medford said. Insurance companies also could nudge people out of the driver’s seat by charging a higher premium to operate a car manually, Schondorf said."

Yahoo - How the government plans to make your self-driving car safer.  Yes, the Federal government will get involved in making rules regarding self-driving cars. In the end it will be done with a carrot more than a stick. States will only be given money from the Federal Transportation Fund if they follow the same rules for self driving vehicles.

Federal Department of Transportation - Federal Automated Vehicle Policy. If nothing else, go to page 37 and read how the Federal government views the relationship between the fed and states when regulating driving. About 3 or 4 years ago I pointed out that City streets were now being considered as part of the national highway system. That was an unusual step historically; but, as I pointed out at the time was part of a longer term plan.

Where are we headed? We are being led to a place where only the entranced win and where being born means not having a chance, no medical care, no real education and being born into a world where you agree that someone else already owns everything. If you are born today you cannot just go into the wilderness and take unused land and work it, you have to buy that land from someone else. You start out with less and have to pay to even compete whereas they start with the advantage. That is what we are leaving our children, the illusion that you can inherit by right more than the other guy, that you can inherit advantage.

Self Driving Cars, Propaganda and Tax Cheats (Apple).

AP - World's first self-driving taxis debut in Singapore.  Still think this is decades away?

MSN - Self-Driving Cars Are Coming For Your Jobs.  The author of the post says, yes, millions of jobs will be eliminated; but, stop whining and don't worry.

Bloomberg- The Robot Surgeon of Your Nightmares Can Wiggle Its Way Inside You.  Even technical jobs will disappear.

MSN - AFP - Trump victory could cause global recession: Citigroup.  Of course we should trust Citigroup, they may have been a big part of the global economic crash that we have already had; but, next crash they are going to blame Trump rather than their own policies.

The Washington Times - Climate-change activists call for tax policies to discourage childbirth. It is not about climate change, they just don't need this many people to keep the machines working.

Yahoo - US taxpayers could end up covering Apple's back taxes in Ireland.  Apple will not pay their United States taxes; but, may ask for a U.S. tax deduction for taxes they are paying in Ireland. Is this not insanity that it would even be considered?

Independent - The new TTIP? Meet TISA, the 'secret privatisation pact that poses a threat to democracy'.  Another treaty, another takeaway of personal freedom and national choice.

The Single Most Important Issue Facing the World that the Media Will Not Address

We, the western world, is quickly approaching a period where we will not need many manual laborers. While think tanks such as the Brookings Institute are willing to discuss the issue, there is little if anything said by the mass media or even the alternative media. As the use of artificial intelligence (AI) increases, even jobs that were thought to be white collar, decision making jobs will disappear at a faster and faster pace.

The reality is that in the future the way to get out of poverty will be in the arts or a highly skilled and technological job. IBM has a computer called Watson and it beat Jeopardy. There is a belief among it's makers that it could do a better job at decision making than humans. You may laugh; but, I want you to follow this link.

Watson2016 - Watson for President 2016.

No, IBM isn't serious about having a computer run for President. It is researching people's reactions to the idea of important decisions being made by computers rather than people. Having said all that, this post is about jobs and people and how we will live in the future.

YouTube - Jim Mellon ** Human redundancy, what happens? Permanent unemployment? ** 2013.

Now, we are constantly told that there just isn't enough money to pay to take care of people and the word used in Europe is austerity. We are told we cannot afford healthcare, pensions, social security, disability, food stamps or welfare. We are told that so much by the six media conglomerates that you might actually believe it; but, the real issue is slightly different.

Trading Economics - United States GDP.  The chart shows U.S. GDP since 2006 when the economy was barreling along prior to the crash. In 2006 the GDP was at 13,855 billion dollars for the year and it has gone up every years since except one. Today the GDP is at 17,947 billion dollars. That means the United States has actually increased it's GDP; but, we have not seen this result in higher paying jobs or more spending on public services. There is a reason for this, most of the money that has been made since the crash went only to the top 1% with the greatest majority of it going to the top.01% and their tax rates have been going down by a lot.

The facts are why the rich are panicking. What they really fear is that they have sent jobs overseas and now the only way to pay for services in this country is to tax them. Their choice is to instead hide profit overseas and call for the elimination of public services other than the police, fire and the military who they believe are needed to protect them. This is also why the same is going on in Europe.

Social Security, Pensions and Fewer Workers to Pay Taxes.

The media and the politicians who are owned by the wealthy are all telling us that we can no longer afford social security, welfare, public colleges at low cost or any other public expenditures that benefit the middle class, the working class or the poor. Yet, at the same time we are told that everything is fine and that the nation is actually making more money than it used to. If we used to be able to afford these things when the country had less wealthy than why can't we still afford them?

Here is what is really going on. The truth is that we can afford these things; but, because automation is going to continually reduce the number of workers needed, taxes will have to fall more on the few who are wealthy. We all know that since 2008 all the gains that have been made economically have gone to the top half of the one percent. That income inequality will only increase as we have fewer and fewer jobs.

I have previously written that people need to understand this trend so that we can have a real discussion about these issues. If you are wondering why the wealthy donors who used to support the Republican presidential nominee are turning away from Trump for Clinton or the Libertarian party, it is because they believe that the Clintons and Libertarians will weaken these social programs. Remember, Bill Clinton made major reductions to welfare during his term in office.

More stuff you should know

Mashable - Mercedes' autonomous Future Bus just drove through Amsterdam.  Say bye bye to hundreds of thousands of bus driving jobs.

Aeon - Should a human-pig chimera be treated as a person?  Again, people are already preparing to write laws for people that are part animal. Genetic modification is the biggest threat to our future.

The Business Insider - These 6 Corporations Control 90% Of The Media In America.  Comcast, News Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner and CBS together control 90% of all the media in the United States.

Wired - SoCal’s Massive Water Agency Grabs Up Land on NorCal’s Wettest River.  Stealing your water to control all the worlds resources and charge you for water like it was oil.

ufotrail - Pokemon Go: Considering the Possibilities.  I ask my older readers to read this article so that you understand what Pokémon Go is capable of, how this technology could be used (Pokémon Go is not the only program that does the same thing) and just so you stay in tune with the world.

Trump Protestors and Policies

I am pretty sure that we will not get back jobs unless both the left and the right unite. That to me is the single greatest challenge facing young people. The second biggest challenge is what we do with people when there are not enough jobs to go around. These are not complicated issues; but, they are rarely discussed by politicians. The two people discussing them are Trump and Sanders with the others just giving mouth service. Kasich and Cruz would lower taxes on the wealthy to increase jobs, even though that hasn't worked in the last 30 years and actually led to more jobs being sent overseas, and Clinton would spend more on retraining workers; but, that does nothing if there are no jobs for them to take. In fact, it is harder than ever before for people with college degrees to get jobs that pay more than the minimum wage.

Now, I was a Sanders supporter and believe in his positions the most; but, I am sadly disappointed in his refusal to tell his supporters to not make disruptive protests at Trumps rallies. That is an instance of the left failing to unite with the right over what matters, jobs and the economy. I am also disappointed in the rights calling Sanders a communist, when he is not, and berating his beliefs. The difference is that Trump is not calling on his supporters to protest anyone's rallies.

So what are the protestors saying? Well, Trump gave a speech in California today and I watched a lot of news reports. Not one mentioned jobs, the wars, the economy, social security or welfare. Not one. They talked about racism. Now, I do not know what is in someone's heart and have no idea if Trump is racist; but, having been in the public eye for over 35 years they have not found one instance of Trump saying anything negative about blacks or Asians. His comments regarding illegal aliens is about immigration and borders, not about Latinos. For those who may remember I preached to Latinos from all over south and central America and Mexico. In fact, the last time someone tried to portray me as a racist they were laughed at by people of their own race. It was an attempt by someone in business to undercut me. Two things that never worked in business against me were trying to call me a racist or a liar. Both would get you laughed at even by my enemies. I don't even hate the English and they starved one fourth of my people, the Irish to death including my family members.

The Pimpernel has been writing this blog for about 7 years and there is not one thing that anyone can point to and say was racist. I got mad at black churches saying gays should die; but, I also get mad at white churches for saying the same thing. I wish ill on none; but, will call out others for wishing ill on others. If I ran for office they would probably use that to say that I was pro-gay, anti-family and racist because that is the way the establishment divides and conquers. The reason they would have to go after me without discussing what I have said is the real issue, jobs and the economy. They don't want those things to be solved to the benefit of the American people, they want profit at the expense of this nation.

Now lets talk about the women's "issue". On a personal level I will start with this. For most of my career I had a higher number of female employees than in the rest of the organization. There are a lot more women in administrative positions than in other construction jobs. I transferred jobs at one point and my old supervisor was immediately challenged by all of my former employees for being sexist and anti-minorities. I later found out that they had waited to formally challenge him until I had left because they didn't want me to be dragged into it. When I retired I thanked the people who worked for me because they always took care of things and gave me the time to work on long term projects that benefited the organization. My employees were great because I let them be great and expected success in all our endeavors, they never let me down. Mano of the women that worked for me would confide in me, they trusted me. Again, if you have read this blog then you have never seen me say anything derogatory about women as a gender. Yet, I have said that my wife was an adulterer. If I were running for office they would say that I was anti-women. Trump got in a fight with Rosie O'Donnell and the media has said that what he said about her was anti-women. It was just anti-Rosie. One can also see the things she said about him; but, nobody called her anti-men.

This is what we need to consider. If you ask black or Mexican Trump supporters why they support him they will say jobs and the economy. That doesn't get reported; but, it is important. Before we went into Iraq, Trump and Sanders were both saying that we should not. They are the only ones running for President who said that. You know the last time we have seen protests like the ones we are seeing now, it was protests against the war in Vietnam. We have not seen the young protest against the war in Iraq as much as we have seen them protest Trump. I find that disgusting. Trump has said that he doesn't want to constantly go to war and that he wants the United States to demand more from the NATO and other countries for us to protect them. Sanders hasn't even said that. In fact, George Wallace (1968 Presidential candidate who was an avowed racist) did not get as many protests as Trump and Wallace was for segregation and attempted to deny black children from entering a white public school.

The point I am trying to get you to ask is, why now? Why the protests now. I do not believe it is actually about Trump. We know that "Black Lives Matter" is the most organized protest group right now and we also know that members had protested at Trump rallies. We know that there are many conservatives that have gone after "Black Lives Matter"; but, Trump really hasn't been part of that discussion. We also know that "Black Lives Matter" had protested at some of Sanders rallies, even forcing him off the stage at one. Now, while I find the number of unarmed blacks being shot by cops appalling, I believe they are protesting Trump because he gets larger crowds. Their playbook calls for going to the largest events they can, Sanders was just the largest crowd for Democrats. Since Trumps rallies have dwarfed Bernies they go to Trump's rallies. I understand this from a strategic, get media attention; but, it sort of misses the point. Neither Trump nor Sanders is racist and both want to expand opportunities.

Finally, here is my point. WE have a problem and the problem is opportunity and power for the majority of people in the United States. If we do not create more jobs for Americans and take care of all Americans then we will become a third world nation. Climate change is not the threat to Americans, not being able to feed ourselves as automation takes over is the threat, not having jobs is the threat, not having enough to live on is the threat. I usually chastise the conservatives for not finding common ground with liberals; but, the liberals are making the exact same stupid divisive move. They have been divided and conquered by the establishment that will not address the real issues.

Trends of Technology

Politico - Tennessee GOP beats back Trump allies.  Trump one in Tennessee; but, the delegates being sent to represent him in the convention are not Trump supporters. The party instead gave him delegates that don't want him to win. Does that sound like Democracy?

The Week - Republicans are plotting economic disaster for 2016.

The Japan News - Fingerprints to be tested as ‘currency’.  Japan is now testing a system whereby tourists would register their fingerprints and then be able to buy things and even use the print as their passport.

MIT Technology Review - Chinese Researchers Experiment with Making HIV-Proof Embryos.  Yes, the Chinese are genetically modifying embryos to make people that are protected from disease.

Reuters - Where's the lane? Self-driving cars confused by shabby U.S. roadways.  And this my friends is why bike lanes are painted in and crosswalks are being painted just like in Europe. Why wasn't this discussed before our tax dollars were spent on these things.

How the Establishment Continues to Rig the Game.

This is going to be a collection of news stories that I haven't had a chance to get to yet.

Huffington Post - Donald Trump Prefers His Steak Well Done, AKA The Worst Possible Way.  I like starting with this one. The propaganda machine is on full tilt against Trump; but, this article is fanatical in it's stupidity. It basically says Trump is a bad person because he likes his steak well done. Wow, now that is what I call insane. Next they will be saying he is bad because he flosses his teeth.

Fox News - No Right to Rent? Cities barring property owners from renting out.  If you think about who this benefits you will understand why cities have passes laws restricting who can rent out a home. Yep, it benefits apartment building owners. Keep an eye on this because they are going to go after mom and pop rental buildings next.

CNBC - Here's how the GOP could stop Trump AND Clinton.  Basically the article promotes a third party candidate just so neither Trump nor Clinton could get a majority and that would allow the House of Representatives to choose the President and the Senate to choose the Vice President. CNBC is literally saying that the will of the voters should be superseded by a congress that has less than a 10% approval rating.

YouTube - Harper Suspends Parliament Giving Him All Power. The title of the video is actually wrong, it was the Queen of England's representative that closed the Parliament and did not allow the Canadian legislature vote on ousting their Prime Minister. Another example of how the vote of the people does not meet the wishes of the wealthy so the vote is taken away.

YouTube - EU faces existential crisis as democracy becomes contagious - UKIP Leader Nigel Farage.  Yes, Europe's laws are voted on by people who frequently were not chosen by the people.

Yahoo - Reuters - Uber seeking to buy self-driving cars: source.  Yes, Uber is seeking to buy 100,000 self driving cars so that it doesn't have to pay for drivers. I really enjoy listening to people who try to tell me that this will not happen in their lifetime.

Investor's Business Daily - Blame Minimum Wage, Not Carl’s Jr. CEO, For Automated Restaurants. Face it, employees are not wanted, go back and read my post on "What's Going On". Even slavery would not stop automation from taking away jobs, if you doubt it just look to China.

Fortune -  Conservatives Grasp For a Plan to Stop Trump. Another article calling for letting congress pick your next President and Vice President. We will be seeing more of these because the wealthy don't like the people deciding anything.

The Economist - Top Ten Global Risks.  This is from an English publication and it claims that if we elect Trump as President it would be one of the top ten threats to globalism.

3/3/16 News and the Debate.

Fox - Critics of California water-tunnel project claim it's gov't waste to save tiny smelt.  The state of California wants to build a $15 Billion underground water pipe to hold water diverted from the San Joaquin- Sacramento delta. Critics claim that this is being done to protect a small fish called the delta smelt. That is not the reason this is being done and by the way even environmentalists are against this project. Go back and read the things I have written about water rights in the future and ho it is being turned into a commodity like gas. Not long ago I posted about how CIM Group is building a 165 billion gallon underground water storage facility in the Antelope Valley. Once contained water is going to get very expensive and be traded like any other commodity. In other words, the market will be rigged to benefit a very few. Here is a simple question, while water rationing is going on in California and people can only water their lawns one day a week in some places, Nestle is allowed to take more water than just about anyone else from this state, bottle it and sell it in any other state at the exact same time.

Daily Mail - The end of the courier? Self-driving 'ground drones' are heading to London to make deliveries across the capital.  In London they are using "drones" (it doesn't fly, it walks at 4 miles per hour) to make deliveries) to deliver packages. The "drone" will take a picture of anybody who touches it as a form of self protection. What jobs might this kill, maybe postal deliverers. Think about it.

Daily Mail - ‘I like Ted Cruz and I want to be his trans ambassador’: Republican Caitlyn Jenner says she would want to work for evangelical Christian despite his anti-LGBT views.  To begin with, I have not written just about anything about Chris-Caitlyn Jenner. I view her as a meaningless distraction from the real issues of the day and frankly I just don't care much about her or her story. I have made it very clear that I also do not care about gay marriage, it is none of my business who sleeps with who and marriage is not determined by the government. I have been writing this blog for 6 years and my opinions on these matters have been consistent and are online. Having said that, I also know that people who have sex changes are rarely happier afterwards and have a better than 50% chance of committing suicide. Transgenders are very rarely truly gay. Jenner believes himself to be a woman now and would consider being with a man but is unsure, that came out in the last two weeks.  Jenner is also saying that he likes Ted Cruz who is absolutely against trans people and gay people. The reason for the incredibly high rate of suicide by transgenders is because no matter how much you change your body, you are still you. If you didn't accept yourself before the operation, you still wont like yourself. That is just a psychological reality. I am worried that Jenner's deeper issues may cause him to harm himself someday. His appreciation of Ted Cruz is a sign that he is conflicted over himself.

Aside from all the above, Jenner said something that is just wrong. He said,  "Socialism did not build this country. Capitalism did. Free enterprise". Actually, the first settlers to America lived in communes. The pilgrim's lived a communal life, sharing together, hunting together and working together as a community. Jenner is not alone in thinking this and it is stupid. The first to come here were religious maniacs who didn't understand the bible because they were in a cult and they were communists. As for the founding fathers, they were all racists who believed in slavery. Why doesn't any politician say that this nation was built on slavery and if it was good enough for the founding fathers it should be good enough for us? They don't say it because, even though it is true, does not fit in with the garbage they are trying to sell us on today. It does not matter what this country was founded on, what matters is where we want to take it. That is why the founding fathers created the federal government and gave us the built in right to change what was done in the past. By the way, the first Christians also lived as communists and accepted slavery. If anyone reads this and doubts my words, leave a comment and I will provide enough evidence for you to choke on. People need to learn their bible and history.

vocative - Inside Scalia's very, very weird Secret Hunting Society.  Scalia was a member of "The International Order of St. Hubertus". Although the order was created in the 1600s, the Nazi's outlawed it and it was brought back in 1950, or almost immediately after the war. It was started by generals and ambassadors and that was done at the Bohemian Grove.

YouTube - Fox Segment Berates Min Wage Worker Who Can't Afford Food,  I don't really like this guy; but, this is worth watching.

Huffington Post - Growing Number Of GOP Politicians Refuse To Back Donald Trump In The General Election.  Can you believe that the "establishment" of the Republican party has said that they would vote for Hillary Clinton before they would vote for Trump. The same people that asked Trump to promise to support whoever the parties eventual candidate and now saying that they would not do the same. If you hate Trump you probably stopped thinking about what is really going on; but, there is much more to this story. The Republican party had a coup a while back, it was taken over by wealthy financial interests and stopped caring about the Republican voters, the middle class or the working class. The party left them, it just took them 20 years to figure it out and now they have and they are angry.

What does this mean for the Republican party? Well, it is actually simple. Either the Republican party will start to protect it's base (middle and working class Americans) or it will die. The voters have looked behind the curtain and found the real puppet masters, the establishment of people who only care about themselves and support sending jobs overseas. The enemy of the American workers is the Republican (and Democratic) Establishment, because the "establishment" just means the wealthy who control these organizations by funding them.

New York Post -  The New York Times abandoned its ethics to take down Trump. Donald Trump met with some people at the New York Times and at some point in time he spoke "off the record",  pretty common. Talking off the record is like being a confidential source and as you know the media claims special privilege to not revealing their sources; but, they gave up Trump. The New York Times leaked information about what Trump said off the record. Who do you think will talk to them "off the record" again? They have committed suicide to protect the establishment control over us. No public official will ever trust them again. Stupid.

Finally, comments on the debate last night. Totally meaningless, Trump will go up in the polls as a result of it.

Article about how you will be taken advantage of.

Yahoo - California water fight raises free market issues.

Here is the most important quote from the article. “Everybody is going to have the right to some water,” he says. “The argument here is whether some people can get a lot more water. And I think they will if they pay for it. We’ll be seeing water traded as a commodity.” Water is going to be traded like a commodity, certain interests have been spending a lot of time to prepare and create this new market.

Yahoo - AP - In next strike against unions, GOP states go after wage laws. Why are financial interests against Americans making a decent wage or having a say in their lives?

Yahoo - The federal government is offering million-dollar identity theft insurance to millions of workers after hack.  Someone or some organization hacked the Federal Government's Office of Personnel Management and has all federal employees personal information (address, social security code,...), as a consequence the Federal government has partnered with a company that will track all actions using the employees personal information, the internet, chatrooms a whole bunch of things. The employees get a cookie in exchange for allowing a government contractor to monitor all their activities.

Forbes - Billionaire Bunkers: Exclusive Look Inside the World's Largest Planned Doomsday Escape.  Sort of says it all; but, interesting to look at the pictures.

HC Online - Wearable technology: the end of the sickie?  An interesting line from the article, “The technology could certainly help towards [cutting sickies],” he suggested. “Employers could request that workers present data from their devices to prove that they haven’t been feeling well.”

Yahoo - Reuters - A Greek paradox: many elderly are broke despite costly pensions. The bigger story is that the west does not want to provide security or pensions to anyone once they cease to be useful.

Now China is Outsourcing to Robots

South China Morning Post - Building work starts on first all-robot manufacturing plant in China’s Dongguan. China relies on manufacturing and has well over a billion people, now they are replacing all those jobs (which were pretty bad to begin with) with robots. What do you do when you have a billion unemployed people? Think about it.

An Autonomus Internet of Everything

I was on a trip last week and attended a jazz concert tonight; however, I did save up articles in the news to post on. I travelled with my sister and we had a wonderful time, one of the best trips of my life. We met many people, enjoyed good food, experienced wonderful service everywhere we went and had a great time just talking. I brought up self-driving cars and she said she didn't think she would see it in her life, she didn't know it is already here. I hope my readers are sharing this information with others.

Yahoo - AP - After Alps crash, some experts ponder flights without pilots. The line that sums this article is, "In my mind, it's a done deal," she says. "The business case is so strong." Let me repeat what I have said since the beginning of this blog. All transportation will be autonomous, you will not own your transportation vehicle and it will determine how you get where you are going.

Yahoo - Colorado Teacher Shares Heartbreaking Notes From Third Graders. Things kids wanted their teacher to know.

thelocal.no - Earthworms rain from sky over Norway. You name it and it has been falling from the sky for thousands of years. There have been documented cases of fish, frogs and all sort of animals falling from the sky.

Reuters - First experiment 'editing' human embryos ignites ethical furor. China is now openly publishing in medical journals that they are experimenting with changing the dna of humans on humans. This, the modification of the human creation is the beginning of the end and I am not overreacting or joking. There is no way to stop this from occurring. Even if it were outlawed, it would go on in the dark.

Fox News - In first, Norway will shut off FM radio in 2017. There are laws that regulate radio; but, many of those protections do not apply to the internet. This is another wave of the future.

CheatSheet - How America’s Middle Class Dug Its Own Grave. Basically the self serving article says that it is the middle classes fault for trusting our government that allowed a few wealthy people to outsource all of our jobs and take away our benefits. We should have know the wealthy would take advantage of us and didn't believe in the United States and community.

ABC News - Study: Self-Driving 'Taxibots' Could Replace 9 in 10 Cars. The rich don't believe people are valuable or necessary. Technology is God if all you care about is your pleasure.

Still here, still paying attention, still wanting you to see more. Peace.
