More cameras

As a result of the recent failed car bomb in New York, the City of New York, in partnership with the FBI will be filling the city with cameras.

Cameras, cameras everywhere.

The article says the cameras will maintain an "unblinking eye". Hmmmm. The system will monitor every car that goes into Manhattan and will have access to private cameras owned by businesses. The article also says they are creating a "Brave new world of security". The author has an interesting choice of words.

Cameras are everywhere and more are coming. As the co-creator of google said, privacy is overrated. In two years you will not know this country. The transition will be complete. Ahhh, but it will never be enough. Freedom is in your head not given by nations.

On a side not, if any of my readers have money in the stock market, get out. Park your money in Treasury Bonds or better yet, invest in Berkshire Hathaway. Other good investments include bicycle companies, railroads and the companies that manage cameras for cities. The market will crash again, most likely on the next quadruple witching hour. That is the third Friday in June. Expect some volatility until then.

On another side note. I have been telling people that the Fed is going to take over pension funds. Now they are proposing to take over your private 401ks. Yawn, didn't see that coming. Hmmm. Maybe I did.

Government control over your 401k.

Oh well, I have to get back to preparing the papers for my foreclosure or short sale. Hope you are all doing well.
