Money and Media

YouTube - Mark Blyth ─ Global Trumpism.  This is a good video of a lecture by a world famous economist. What he is discussing is anti-globalism on the left and right. I don't agree with everything he said; but, his discussion of the economy is dead on.

Yahoo - Fannie and Freddie's fate depends on whether Trump goes with John or Jeb.  The reality is that Wall Street would like is for the government to give Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to Wall Street. We created it, we funded it and Wall Street wants the profit. They have been saying this for a couple of years and I wrote about it them, this is just a reminder.

YouTube - The Media's Meltdown Over Donald Trump Victory - The Bolt Report.  The view from Australia and New Zealand. Interesting to see how they understand that the election was driven by people wanting jobs while our own media does not.

Bloomberg - Ford Willing to Work With Trump If Policies Are Right: CEO.  Ford in a preemptive roll is saying that they will keep jobs here if they get to tell the government what the fuel economy goals should be. That approach will be a loser with democrats and Trump supporters.

YouTube - UKIP Nigel Farage MEP on BBC Questions - Donald Trump & BREXIT.  The views in England regarding Trump.

Yahoo - Reuters - Web giants to cooperate on removal of extremist content.  "Web giants YouTube , Facebook , Twitter and Microsoft will step up efforts to remove extremist content from their websites by creating a common database." This is called illegal collusion and is a violation of anti-trust laws.
