Insomnia

I don't know why but I literally did not sleep at all last night, I just lay in bed until it was time to go to work. I went to work and came home in a sort of fog. My plan for the night is to eat and go to bed early. I tried reading the news and found little of interest. The news had a lot of chatter about a shooting in Florida and the Health Care Bill going before the Supreme Court.

Not being really all here I thought I might provide some links to some people who are far from mainstream, yet, have very large followings. It is important to know what the alternative news is even if we disagree, it is an indication of how little faith people have in the traditional news. I do wish to make it clear that by including these links, I am in no way supporting these people's beliefs.

YouTube - 2012 Event Horizon - David Wilcock. Mr. Wilcock has indicated that he is a reincarnated Edger Casey, he also claims to channel other beings. Mr. Wilcock also believes that in 2012 we will experience a spiritual awakening. He also says that there will not be a second coming of Christ, that we are Christ. This man is no Christian.

YouTube - David Icke - The Global Spiritual Awakening. Now you may know about David Icke, he believes that the people running this world are inhabited by alien spirits. Having said that, he has also presented some good information on how the monetary funds are manipulated. Just like Mr. Wilcock, Mr. Icke believes we are godlike and will have a spiritual awakening.

YouTube - Benjamin Fulford - February 20, 2012. Mr. Fulford believes that the west is run by the Vatican and Zionists. He also is a transhumanist. What is interesting is that Mr. Fulford is the great grandson of a famous Canadian politician and was the asian Bureau chief for Forbes magazine.

So why do I bring these people up, well, I see a lot of chatter out there that takes these people very seriously. All of these people have been publicized and promoted by others in who believe that the powers that be have a massive conspiracy. I want to dig a little into what else they tend to believe.

What I want to try and do is attempt to give them some context. The world has always been run by an oligarchy, that is the only iron rule of politics. We used to call them kings and queens, now we call them bankers and businessmen. The quality of how they rule the world depends on the people and times. As times change, the people who have the most to lose tend to get nervous and that is what we are seeing now.

There are many, especially younger people, who have come to believe that religion was a trick created by kings and is the cause of all the worlds evils and is a tool for controlling people. They either become atheists or take on a new age type religion where none mean anything and all have validity.

For about the past six years I have been focusing on alternative media. I have posted on alternative sites under a different user name and have had a chance to engage in discussions on all of these matters. You would be surprised by how strongly people believe these things. The situation is not helped by the fact that many people in power believe in the occult; but, many working and middle class people believe in the occult.

The most common trends I have seen is a hatred of bankers, a hatred of Israel, a hatred of Christianity and a belief that either aliens are going to be disclosed, there is going to be a massive spiritual awakening or the world is going to end. Subsets of these are the belief that those who run the world want to kill off billions of us and make us totally controlled slaves. As bad as those things would be, the one that bothers me is not alternative, it is the belief in Transhumanism.

Transhumanism, as I have previously discussed, is the belief that we can medically or technologically change humans to be more advanced. The problem is, there is a lot of people who are in favor of this. I believe Mr. Fulford has been supportive of Transhumanism; I know both Bill Gates and Stephen Hawking are in favor of it.

I want to backtrack a little bit. Are there people who wish to see population reduction, well yeah, Planned Parenthood and others promote it. But that doesn't mean they want to kill people. Does the government want more control over the citizens, well yeah, there is nothing new about that. Government by definition thinks it's job is to regulate others and to a degree it is; but, as little as is necessary is what we should all aim for.

What I think concerns me the most about what I read is that it seems to be increasing in popularity as our world's corruption frantically attempts to steal the last dollar before a new system is put in place. How do we ever work together again when nobody seems to trust anyone else? 20 years ago Mr. Icke could not fill a small room, he recently gave a speech at Wembley Stadium in England.

As much as I regret it, there is not going to be a return to Christian values in this country. Whatever changes come will come from a group of very upset and confused people. What becomes our new national values, what can we agree on and how do we get there? It is one thing to upset the world, it is another to come to agreement and no amount of monitoring can prevent change. Less than 20% of the nation believes we are headed in the right direction or that things are getting better and less than that have faith in congress, these are not good signs in a democracy.

I have to say something else, the three people I supplied links to have had literally millions and millions of hits on YouTube. Last year more guns were sold in the United States than ever before and one arms manufacturer has stopped taking orders because he cannot fill the ones he has. Maybe what we need to do is step back and see what basic moral principals we believe in because the self-centered cost benefit analysis hasn't done it. Maybe we need to take baby steps and make honesty, integrity and concern for others our most basic principals. Maybe along with that we agree that people should not be regulated anymore than is necessary for the society to advance. Just some thoughts from someone who hasn't slept in a day and is about to try and do so now. Peace.

When is a Divorce Final? Never

I spent the weekend with one of my kids (grown adults). As I was going through my divorce they didn't really say much about it. They certainly didn't want to talk about the other man and I understand that. I couldn't see how the divorce effected my kids because there wasn't really a way for them to discuss it with me. I told my kid that it was okay to tell my ex-wife that I don't hate her, I am not even angry anymore, I have had almost five years to put it behind me. Still, it doesn't end for the kids, we are no longer mom and dad together, we are now mom and dad apart, a broken family and there is nothing I can do to put the pieces together again anymore than I could prevent what did happen, you cannot control others.

As time passes I meet a new life alone and that is okay for me. I am still discovering Pimpernel. The truth is I am more concerned about my kids than about my ex or I. In my heart I believe my ex regrets how things went down and I wish her luck in her new life. Heck, when she had some legal problem I even helped her and that was when I was really angry with her. She is still their mother and I would help her again.

A divorce is never final, that is something my ex should have known and didn't. Her parents had divorced and their family never got over it. You don't get over divorce, you cope with the consequences and try and salvage what you can. After a divorce, my experience is that you have to find your new "normal". I still haven't found mine. Well, I haven't decided what I want to be when I grow up, lets put it that way.

I have done some amazing things in my life; but, like everyone else, I too am far from perfect. Problem is, sometimes our kids don't see us that way. Once a family has been ripped apart, it takes time to heal the pieces because everyone is harmed. Healing starts with recognition of the pain and then forgiveness, after that everyone in a family finds their new normal and their new way of dealing with and appreciating each other because y0u never stop being family.

Before I dated I asked my children's opinion, I did that for a reason. I didn't ask their opinion when I stopped dating. If I choose to date again, anyone I date will be required to meet my children. You never stop being family. My ex did something that I didn't understand at the time. She was still living in the house and openly seeing the other man, at Christmas she bought a book for one of my kids, it was about a man who attempted to live the bible laws exactly for one year. When my kid opened the present my ex said what the book was about and how the man had met an adulterer and through pebbles at her. We all cringed when she said it; but, I think I get it now. She was trying to say that nobody is perfect and we all sin. In a way, she was admitting what she did and asking for forgiveness.

When I lost the last of my elders, my ex wanted to attend the funeral and was not allowed to. I had been told that she would not be allowed to attend, I was told that if I asked she might be allowed but that there was no guarantee. My position was that if she asked to attend then I would ask that she be allowed to, she never asked. My kids didn't know the whole story; but, they knew she wasn't allowed to attend and assumed it was at my request, it was not. I look back now and see why they were so upset, they saw it as not healing; but, more separation. The problem again is that a divorce effects everyone, even relatives and friends.

I feel bad that my attempt at having a family did not turn out the way I would have wished, I feel bad that I am not perfect and neither was my wife. Heck, my kids were not perfect either. I participated in a family for 25 years and couldn't control the outcome. Life doesn't work that way. I couldn't think about healing the family when I was a mess, when I was still torn. I had to heal me and that took some time, you cannot have your heart ripped out and just get up and get over it. Someone said that for each five years together, it takes a year to heal. It has been just about five years and I am healed, they never said how long it took for everyone else to heal and I don't think kids ever do.

If I ever get the chance (and she would tell the truth) I would talk to my ex and ask her to tell me what went through her mind and if she considered how her actions would effect everyone else. I think I know what she would say, heck, she was cheating on me. She probably did think that divorce was best even for me. Seeing as how she was cheating on me, she may have been right about what was best for me.

If I could have my house back and could reconcile with my ex, I still couldn't put the family back together. It has nothing to do with the adultery per se, it has everything to do with trust. I could never trust my ex-wife again. If I tried to reconcile my attorney and accountant and friends and family would all try to stop me. So, what is best for my family, that is what I have left.

Pray for my success, pray for my family to heal more. I love my children and my ex-wife loves our children. Pray that as time moves on we all come to grips with what has happened and remember that the most important relationship is the one we hold with each other, even when we do each other wrong.

I wonder sometimes, if I found someone that loved me more than my ex-wife did, if I found someone that made me happier than my ex-wife did, would that make it even harder on my children? You know, what would it be like to know that your father was happier with someone other than your mother? How would it feel if it only took a year or two? I am guessing not that great.

Free Will an Illusion?

A recent article in LiveScience via Yahoo entitled "Is Free Will an Illusion? Scientists, Philosophers Forced to Differ" continues to express what some want us to believe. A group of 6 experts voted on whether or not you make decisions or are merely following your genetic code and they voted that you have no free will 4 to 2.

Atheists do not like the idea of free will, true scientists can accept it. You have to ask yourself why. Why are atheists afraid of free will? Because it means that they are responsible for their actions. They are not just afraid that there may be a God, they are afraid of free will also because it means you are responsible for your actions. I have more respect for Satanists as at least they are up front about it and tell you that the whole of the law is do whatever you want.

Life and individual morality is about making decisions and taking responsibility. You can say the Devil made you do it, you can say that it was in your genetic makeup or any other nonsense you like; but, in the end you define you by your choices and people need to take responsibility for that. When people argue or fight they almost always say that they didn't have a choice; but, that is always a lie.

Free will means that at a minimum there is personal responsibility for the harm we intentionally cause others. The purpose of denying free will is to deny intention and thereby deny responsibility. When you tell yourself that you didn't have a choice you are lying to yourself to avoid the emotional responsibility for what you do.

According to the "experts" we have no reason to control ourselves or learn, after all it will not affect our decisions according to them; but, isn't it amazing how much time they spend trying to justify actions as mechanical. Why should we trust anything they tell us when they don't believe they are responsible for their actions?

The truth is inside you and you do matter and you are also responsible for your decisions. Controlling people justify their actions by believing that your making decisions different than theirs is a sign that you are wrong. If they believe something then it must be right, there cannot be any free will in their minds. Control Freaks and Atheists don't believe in free will because it means that they are not and cannot become God, they cannot achieve perfection.

Still sick; but, I thought I would try and post, I do hope you enjoyed it at least as fodder for thought. My plan for this weekend is lots of sleep, it is to drink lots of coconut water (high in potassium and other good stuff to hydrate you) and rest. I want to return healthy and feeling well. If I can I will post, in the meantime, peace and love to all of my readers.

Bernanke - Hedging His Bets or Lying?

Ben Bernanke, the Federal Reserve Chairman, recently wrote that the European economies might crash the American economy. This is the same guy who said that housing would have a "soft landing" and that the subprime problems would not leak over into other parts of the housing market. Now lets consider what he said in his latest nonsense.

EconomyWatch on MSNBC has posted the following article. Bernanke warns of possible European 'contagion' The story has a link to the Feds own website.

If you read Mr. Bernanke's written testimony he claims that as a result of Europe's economic problems the Federal Reserve did some currency swaps with foreign banks and that it is safe for the Federal Reserve and the U.S. taxpayers because "They present no exchange rate or interest rate risk; each drawing has a short maturity and must be approved by the Federal Reserve; they are collateralized by the foreign currencies for which dollars are swapped; and our counterparties are the foreign central banks, not the foreign commercial banks that receive the dollar loans".

If you go back and read one of my earlier post regarding these swaps you will know just how dangerous it was. How Mr. Bernanke cannot see this is beyond me. If the foreign currency fails then our collateral (their currency) is worthless. How is that not a risk. When one goes, they all go and they keep our dollars. Think of it this way, I trade you $100 for a lamp, the lamp breaks, will you give me my hundred dollars back? No, you would not, not if you have already spent them.

I am still recovering from being sick so I may not be able to explain this as well as usual. Remember when the stock market crashed and the big banks were about to fail, well, Congress approved the TARP bill which allowed for a trillion dollars in "bail out" money. It later turned out that much of that money and loans from the Fed were given to foreign banks. Right now the currencies are no different than the derivatives are and that crashed the world's economies.

If you take a bunch of currencies, like the Euro represents, and you blend them in with your own currencies then if one fails it effects them all. They will fail and that will be the excuse for setting the rates for all of them on an international level. This is coming.

If you read earlier in Mr. Bernanke's testimony, he also says that he agrees that the European Union needs to be tighter politically to have a stronger Euro. You see political union and economic union are put together so when the currencies do crash, Mr. Bernanke will support us to give more international power over us politically.

This is the type of thinking that buried Greece and is about to bury the rest of Europe and us too. Sure they reduced the debt of Greece's bonds; but, they did it in exchange for the right to set Greece's budget, heck, Germany even sent over tax collectors to Greece.

There is a speaker named Nigel Farage and he has discussed how well the European Union has worked and has discussed how dangerous uniting with a shared currency is and how the European Union has a greater effect on their internal laws than their own countries.

YouTube - UKIP Nigel Farage MEP and Irish Gay Mitchell MEP debate Irelands EU membership

If you can, spend the time to listen to the whole debate. Here again we hear how a tighter political allegiance is supposed to help their currencies. You will hear the same arguments made when our currencies all crash together. One of the things that happens when you give up your sovereign budget making is that you cease having sovereign decision making. Because your laws are made by international agreement, you have less direct ability for your vote to matter.

This is probably one of the most important issues you will see in your life and how the people who want a new world order will achieve it. If it sounds like a conspiracy theory, oh well, it is the truth. The political class of the west wants more internationalism and international law and they don't want it voted on through treaties or it challenged through referendum. When Ireland did not vote for one of the referendum's of the EU, they were told if they didn't pass it they would be penalized by the EU.

This is going to happen and so few people will understand it when it does. It will not be until later, perhaps years later that they will understand what the real consequences are. Lets say that we are trillions of dollars in debt, what if we could have all of our national debt eliminated by agreeing to international rate setting for currencies, people would be thrilled. They would find sense in the world again and accept the international rate setting as reasonable. The power to regulate the money is the power to regulate the country.

When this little rat trap is sprung, the fear will be so great and the answer sound so reasonable that people will demand we immediately approve the treaty that will be needed to create it. It is nothing new that I have said the crash of these economies was intentional and if you listened to the whole video you heard how the European Crisis was caused by their loaning out cheap money. Why did the same thing happen across Europe as happened here at the SAME TIME. How is that an accident, how did not one country manage to avoid the same problem, why didn't the finance ministers of any of these countries say no?

Wild Speculation about Apple

Still not feeling well so I will give a short post. Apple has $98 billion in cash. That is a lot. This week they are going to announce what they are going to do with some of that money. At the same time Fannie Mae is going to be selling 2,500 properties in bulk. What if Apple had decided to buy them and diversify? Just a thought.

No More Cash in Sweden

I had a tough last couple of weeks and somehow ended up sick. I have spent the whole day in bed drinking water and juice. Having said that, the Pimpernel is always on the lookout for news articles that you need to know. You need to read this one.

AP via Newsvine - In Sweden, cash is king no more

Yes, Sweden is going to eliminate all currency, no paper money. Now here is the question that was not addressed in the article, how do you trade with other nations when you don't have a currency? How do you regulate the value of your nations worth when trading in air? How do you determine what the total value of a nations promises are?

In the not too distant future all transactions will be electronic; but, the underlying valuation of the currencies will have to be set by international agreement and that means you will have a one world currency. This will change everything, all transactions will be public and you can be shut off at any time. Try not paying your taxes and see what happens. We are witnessing history being made on so many levels.

A Tentative Return

I spoke to a friend yesterday that I had not heard from in about two years. It was nice to hear her voice. She met me when I was going through the divorce, I was not at peace with myself or the world at that time. So much has happened, so much change and loss and in the end I came out calmer and more at peace than I had been ever before in my life.

I look at the world around me, see the insanity and am at peace. There is nothing I want. I am happy just to be me and think again. I spent 40 years working and studying and having nothing physical to show for it; but, I have so much more and such good friends. As time moves forward and retirement comes closer, I wonder what I shall do next. Too bad the Protestants don't have any monasteries, I could do that.

I see the world and see that what happens will be left in the hands of others. Those of us at the end of the baby boom, those who were teenagers in the 70s are seeing our time pass and we didn't have much of it. We didn't have any say in anything during the 60s, we couldn't get decent jobs in the 70s or 80s because we were outnumbered by the ex-hippies and flower children. We saw the greatest increase in divorces and didn't have as many chances to promote because the children of the 60s had more experience. Please don't think I am complaining, I did easily overcame these issues and promoted very quickly. I worked my way up quite well.

Those of us who are those 70s kids, we also got to see a lot. Heck, we saw personal computers, we saw a man land on the moon, we had our time even if it was brief for us to impact the general mind. We were a silly generation, we went to discos and had pet rocks. We streaked and listened to Cheech and Chong. We are also the last generation that knows how things are supposed to work, we are the last generation to not be totally compartmentalized in our thinking.

I have tried to pass on knowledge and understanding to those who will replace me. They got what they got and will learn what they learn. I am not sure what I will do with the rest of my time. I am not sure how my peers will spend their time, we are in charge for a moment, will we make the proper choices? We shall see.

I Will Write Again

I will be posting again, just have a lot on my mind. There are times when I just don't like talking and this is one of them. For those who care, everything is fine. I think in our lives we turn into rest stops on occasion. If you drive long and hard, you need to pull over once in awhile, look at the road behind you and decide what you will do next.

You Get Nothing

I have nothing to say. I am sad and tired. I am exhausted by the week. It has been crushing and the funny thing is, I always get up. There is no other option. Peace.
