The Sun and it's Magnetic Shift

The sun is changing, it is flipping it's magnetic pole. It happens every 11 years. This time it is doing it in a new and unusual manner. The south and north poles are beginning the process at different rates and times. The scientists don't have any idea why or what it may mean. The scientists are not very smart.

The climate scientists had predicted that global warming was occurring because of man made carbon emissions. The problem was that all the planets in the solar system were getting hotter at the same time; but, the scientists knew that solar flares were increasing and would continue to, then they decreased and this had not been anticipated. Obviously they should have then suspected that the sun was acting differently than their models had predicted and they should have asked why.

They were so busy trying to justify global warming as being man made in order to get all of the lovely grant money that they forgot to do their real job and figure out what the sun was doing. Well, now we know, it is acting erratically in ways that we don't understand. Some scientists think that this abnormal magnetic pole shift might result in even larger solar flares and Coronal Mass Ejections. In other words it could result in an even worse effect on electronics than the flares that we thought were coming might have.

How many of you understand that this could be one of the biggest events in history and now consider how little attention this has received in the newspapers and on television? The media seems incapable of giving any true news analysis and even less inclined to make any effort at it. Lets look at this another way. What would have a bigger impact this year, a solar imbalanced magnetic pole shift or global warming? Well, even if you believe in global warming being man made, if a massive solar flare took out all of our electronics, that problem would be solved. No man made global warming if all the electronics in the world went down.

If you have that part down, lets try this. The cost of protecting the electronics from a probable solar flair event is less than reducing carbon emissions. Why is it then that we are doing nothing about protecting ourselves from a known historical event that appears likely to repeat itself? The type of flares would take out all the solar energy farms. Going all solar would mean going without any power. If we are going all electric, shouldn't we at least make them capable of withstanding such flares when we know that the sun goes through 11 transitions? Why is this not in the national debate, why isn't this reported on enough?

TPM Idea Lab - Scientists Stumped By Sun’s Asymmetrically Reversing Magnetic Field

I should make something clear. I am not alarmed by these things and they don't even bother me. The world will be around for awhile longer. A meteor could hit us any time and that has always been true. Solar flares could have decimated us or the sun cooled and the world could have ended. The thing I find the most interesting is how the media doesn't tell us about these things in a meaningful way. I write this blog because I want people to see what is meaningful and understand that you are being bombarded with the meaningless. Don't believe the story that anyone tells you no matter how comfortable you are with their answers, do your own research and require people to show their sources. After that find the people who disagree the most with your sources and determine if you find them credible.
