This article in the LA Times talks about the $8 billion upgrade that is being given to GPS. What is really interesting is that the article states that GPS worldwide relies on the satellites that America put up. Worldwide.

I never knew we were responsible for the worlds GPS. That makes absolutely no sense. Why would we allow private people to use our GPS military system and not charge them? I don't get it. Well, maybe I do. Heck we let the world use the military backbone that is the internet.
GPS allows our government to know where everything and everyone is. How nice. Does this really not bother anyone other than me? It doesn't concern enough people because they don't consider how things can be used against them. Many don't even care as long as they get their cookie.

Just for fun, history of an occultist
Just for fun I am going to show the path taken by one particular occultist. Aleister Crowley. Mr. Crowley was a very famous occultist. He was a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and later went on to head the Ordo Templi Orientis or OTO. Both of these orders are in some way associated with Masons and Rosicrucians.
Mr. Crowley referred to himself as 666 or The Beast. Now one of his friends and adherents was Jack Parsons. Mr. Parsons took over the leadership of the OTO and was the founder of the Jet Propulsion Lab, this is why the rockets had the names of greek gods. He would invoke the greek gods before each rocket was launched.
Now Mr. Parsons was good buddies with L. Ron Hubbard. Now Mr. Hubbard worked on occult rituals with Mr. Parsons, married Parsons wife and founded the Church of Scientology. All were believers in Sex Magick.
L. Ron Hubbard later married Mary Sue Whipp. Mary Sue Hubbard was found guilty of getting a Scientology member to join the IRS in order to steal documents to use against the IRS.
Do you find any of this odd? I do. They didn't teach us the real history of the space program. I remember the Mercury and Apollo flights, nobody mentioned that they were thus named because the head of JPL was a Satanist. I didn't hear that in school.
While reading about the history of Jack Parsons and Crowley is interesting, the bigger issue is how come people are so unaware of our history. If you begin to investigate Crowley you meet some really odd ducks. Mr. Crowley is prominently displayed on the Beatles Sgt Pepper's Album as one of their heroes. Jimmy Page of Led Zepplin owns Crowley's old house on Lock Ness.
On an aside. There was a man called John Dee, he was the spiritual advisor ot Queen Elizabeth I. Maybe we can discover something about the old queen from what he taught her. What advice he gave. To begin with, the Rosicrucians claimed Mr. Dee as a member. Hmmm, now that is odd. He is believed to be the father of Enochian Magic. It is a form of ritual magic used to command spirits. I guess we know what he taught the Queen of England. The same queen that was fundamental in creating The Church of England.
The point of all this is how little people know or recognize the extent of occultists in their everyday lives and in history. We read that Washington was a Mason; but, do we even begin to understand what that means? Especially at the time.

Mr. Angers may be best known for his film "Lucifer Rising". Mr. Anger was also friends with Alfred Kinsey. You may remember Mr. Kinsey, the Kinsey report on sex. If you read the link to Mr. Anger you saw a picture of Crowley on the wall behind Anger and Kinsey.
Look, Anger and Kinsey thought the world of Crowley. Crowley was a proponent of Sex Magick and Kinsey is known to have been a proponent of orgies involving his own wife and students. But, this is not about Kinsey, more interested in Mr. Anger for the moment.
Mr. Anger's film, Lucifer Rising, stars a man he found who he thought could become Satan (in the film). The man was Bobby Beausoleil. Beausoleil became famous as a member of the Manson family and is currently serving a life sentence for murder.
This is just funny. Recently I was in Vegas. We went to check out the new Aria casino, just to see it. My daughter noticed that on one of the walls was a outline drawing of a man with a goat and not in a nice way. Poor goat. Anyways, the same symbolism is present in the film Lucifer Rising. It appears to be a greek or Roman inspired drawing, same as we say at the casino. I am not sure what the meaning is.
YouTube has the film, it takes about 30 minutes to watch. I don't recommend it; but, I notify you of it. The film is basically the story of Isis and Osiris creating Lucifer who calls forth flying saucers. If you understand occultism, you will understand the imagery. Basically, Isis and Osiris, Osiris died and was cut up into pieces, Isis finds all but one piece, puts him together and builds him a phallus, has sex with it and births Horus.

You might notice that Mr. Anger refers to Sir Paul Getty as his benefactor, the person who paid him to make films. J. Paul Getty, the Getty museum. Yeah. Getty was the owner of Getty Oil. The Getty Museum has one of the largest collection of writings by the most famous Mason in the world, Manly P. Hall.
Kenneth Anger also wrote a book called "Hollywood Babylon". The book exposed what occurred in Hollywood during the silent years. He says he has written Hollywood Babylon III; but, that he hasn't published because it talks about Tom Cruise and the Church of Scientology and he is afraid of being sued.

I lived in LA during the Manson murders. I lived close to where he did. I found out about Bobby Beausoleil while reading about Manson. That is how I found out about Mr. Anger. I have also read that some suspect Bobby of being the Zodiac Killer, although personally I greatly doubt that.

The connection, the Zodiac Killers last confirmed kill was just outside of the Presidio where Zodiac hid while the cops drove by.
I don't suspect Col. Aquino of being the Zodiac Killer. I have no reason to. I have always suspected that Zodiac was a military person stationed at the Presidio and have wondered if he tried to join the Church of Satan. My thoughts on this matter are not substantially different than those of some police at the time. The police have long held the belief that Zodiac was in the Navy. As far as I know they never found any evidence to prove such a idea.
Well that is my babbling for the day. A history of some rather odd characters, some of whom are still around. Funny how they all managed to connect to one another. One last thing, don't tell me that occultism is only in California or DC, it is very prevalent in the midwest and south. They tend towards paganism and wicca, look it up and see where they are the most popular. Farmers you know have always tended that way.
