Google Goggles - Picture Recognition

I am going to provide a link to the Google website. They have developed an app that you can put on your phone. When you take a picture of something, the app will search the internet to find the building, cd, restaurant, artwork, whatever to find a match and information on the object.

If you follow the link, you will find a video for Google Goggles. I recommend that you watch the video.

I Love My Attorney

I go to court in March, it is to get my alimony reduced and it will be reduced. I contacted my attorney and asked her to represent me, she told me she already had it calendered. Pretty cool, huh? I love my attorney and my accountant. Simply the best. It is nice to have people you trust taking care of you.

Life has not been easy; but, I have the best in the world to help me through the rest of it. I have the best friends and assistants that one could hope for. Great people support me and I appreciate it.

Merry Christmas Dear Readers

Dearest Readers,

The Pimpernel wishes to thank all those who come and visit here. I hope the coming year is good for you all. The Pimpernel will spend much of Christmas alone; but, do not shed a tear. I had plenty of places to go. It is a choice.

It has been quite a year and next year is going to be even more interesting. As you go through the year, try and remember that everything is temporary. For me, this year has been a move in the right direction. I am settled in my new place; but, even prior to that I was already becoming accustomed to my new life and I like it, less pressure.

Lets have some Christmas cheer via Cheech and Chong. YouTube - Cheech & Chong - Santa Claus and his Old Lady.

A Passing

My ex-wife apparently had a dream. She had a dream about the mother of someone I grew up with. I knew her as a baby, her family and my family were very tight. Our fathers even went into business together. Her father played music at my wedding. She married someone famous and my wife got to meet her.

Anyways, one of my children told me that after dreaming about my friends mother, she searched on her and found out that my friend had died. I looked it up online and in fact it said that the young lady had died. It happened a little while ago and I had not heard about it.

I have been busy and time passes quickly. I had not checked up on her in a bit and was actually considering contacting her through their secretary. They invited me to one of his shows once and I attended. Afterwards we and the entourage went to dinner together. I only really wanted to talk to her and her mother. I don't claim to have gotten to know the husband, he was pleasant enough; but, not very engaging outside of his circle and I was good with that.

I remember this young lady as 6 years old, she was cute and fun. We had many good times together. I am very sorry for her family friends. This young lady was 6 years younger than me. I am glad that my ex-wife passed on this information to me, it is best to know.

Galazy S III - I saw one

After church today, one of the congregation stopped me to show me his new phone. He showed me how if it didn't recognize his face, you couldn't use it. He put it up next to my face and it didn't recognize me so I couldn't use the phone. I have been talking about this coming technology for some time and the member wanted me to see it in action. He basically said, "Hey, you said this was going to happen and it has".

We have news articles all over the internet discussing how passwords are no longer safe and technologies that allow us to use facial recognition to access our electronics, banking and the internet. That is the future, all transactions recorded and identified specifically to you.

Christmas Shopping and Sermons

I have to give a Christmas sermon. I don't like Christmas services, they are all the same. They don't even have a message or moral. Jesus was born, there were certain things that the Old Testament said that were fulfilled as proof that it was him. We do not know what month or day he was born because it is not stated in the bible. We know what day he died; but, not which day he was born.

Christmas trees, candy canes, giving presents, none of it has anything to do with Jesus. Don't get me wrong, I view Christmas as a nice holiday where you visit family and show your appreciation for them. It is a fun holiday for kids and a lovely tradition. I just don't see how it has anything to do with Christianity.

Every year my mother and I used to watch A Christmas Carol, my kids grew up on "A Christmas Story". Everybody grew up on "A Charlie Brown Christmas"; but, my favorite Christmas show was "Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol". It was originally intended as a Broadway play. I am going to include two links to songs from it.

"All Alone in the World" from Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol - Bob Cratchit Dinner and Song

The last real Christmas celebration was 3 years ago for me. There was a young boy living in my house and we did it for him. It was also the last time I saw one of my aunts, she passed away not long after. Last year I celebrated by visiting a graveside and leaving some flowers and candy canes. I will probably do that again this year.

Today one of my daughters and I went Christmas shopping. Okay, she was getting presents and I just paid for them. It sort of put me in the Christmas spirit, memories of Christmas past.

Judy Garland - Have yourself a Merry little Christmas

One of my biggest problems with Christmas is that it is one of two days a year when a bunch of hypocrites go to church. There are people who go to church for Christmas and Easter and not any other time during the year. They listen to some singing, hear about how Jesus was born and even get dressed up for the occasion. It is the excuse they use for calling themselves Christians when they don't live it during the year. They might even chip in to buy someone a dinner on skid row. Doesn't change a life like participating year round does.

You don't have to go to church to be a Christian. Being a Christian is about how you live your life. Going to church is done in order to learn about Christianity and to share fellowship with other believers. What is the point in going if you already know the story of Jesus' birth and have no intention of having fellowship with other believers. At that point it is just a holiday tradition. As a consequence, my Christmas sermon is not going to be about his birth. It won't have anything to do with the holiday we celebrate as Christmas. Maybe I will give another sermon on sex and read through the Song of Solomon.

Christmas is a find holiday, I just we could take Christ out of it and keep it what it is and was. A time of celebrating that a new year is coming. 2013 is coming dear readers and it is going to be a very interesting year. There is not much we can do about that; but, we can celebrate with our loved ones and enjoy each others company over a nice meal and create memories.

UPDATE

So I gave the Christmas sermon. Basically, I said many of the things I said above.

We Are Still Here and it is the 22nd

There is a town in Europe that they said was going to be the only safe place when the world ended, pushed it all over the news. Only one person showed up and over 200 reporters. Nobody really believed the world was going to end, that was all made up by the media. The question is why?

Now what did happen? Well, the stock market took a hit and the bond markets took a hit. Nothing catastrophic; but, substantial. There is no asteroid headed for earth that we are aware of, solar storms are still a possibility throughout 2013 according to Nasa, there is always the possibility of a major earthquake or volcano; but, what is very real is that our economy is really in danger, that one hasn't gone away.

There are very real dangers our there; but, the media chooses to spend more time ridiculing silly beliefs that nobody really believes rather than addressing the real underlying dangers that face our world. Starving children around the world were not worried about the world ending on December 21, 2012, they were worried about dying from starvation and yesterday tens of thousands did, others died from presentable diseases. For those people, it was the end of the world.

So today we will hear endlessly about how people who thought the world was going to end were just more nuts; but, nobody really thought it was going to end. What you are being taught is to only believe the "real" media.

The End of the World, Lets Party

Firstly a poem.

Fire and Ice by Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

While I personally believe the whole Mayan this is nonsense, I also don't know a single person who actually believes it. Still, the media talks endlessly about it. Why? Who is promoting it? Other than on television, nobody actually seems to believe the world is going to end tomorrow. There is no massive panic in the streets, my employees all plan on going to work tomorrow.

Now what could happen tomorrow that could be disturbing. Tomorrow is Triple Witching Hour, it is when you have to make your investment bets for the next quarter. The stock market crash occurred on a triple witching hour. So here is my end of the world story.

Friday, December 21st, 2012. During the last hour of trading on Wall Street the government finds no buyers for it's treasury bonds. This occurs as a result of former head of Italy, Berlusconi, having warned that Italy may leave the Euro (he just made that announcement for real). As a consequence, the European Union was unable to find buyers for it's bonds causing an immediate default on their debts. Fear that the would spread to the United States causes China, banks and hedge funds to call for their immediate payment; but, the United States is unable to make these payments because they were unable to sell their bonds. The result is a worldwide default on sovereign and Central Bank debts.

All stock market transactions are suspended and banks are to remain closed until a solution is found. As an alternative, banks limit the amount that can be withdrawn while the nations meet to find a solution.

The single largest holder of U.S. Bonds is the Federal Reserve bank. As a result of the U.S. default the Federal Reserve goes bankrupt. In order to avoid this the IMF Plan to hyperinflate all of the currencies at the same time is proposed. Meetings are held at the United Nations over the next few days to discuss the matter and come up with a new international fiscal policy.

The plan for international economic reform is agreed upon. As part of this plan, the world will no longer use the dollar as the reserve currency of the world and will instead set a single standard for currency valuation based on a countries Gross Domestic Product (yearly total worth).

By hyperinflating all of the currencies at the same time, all government and central bank debt is immediately wiped out. The world breathes a sigh of relief as international chaos is avoided and the economic system is rebooted based on system that is more global in nature.

I think that if anything happens tomorrow, my scenerio is much more likely than an asteroid, an awakening or any other end of the world scenario. The problem is, mine is based on real world possibilities and I had previously posted a link to the IMF plan that calls for exactly what I stated.

One of my favorite books was written by a man named Douglas Adams, it is called, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". It is a marvelously ludicrous novel. It has a space traveler who has a copy of the guide. The cover of the book is the most useful thing one needs to remember, it simply says, "Don't Panic". Fear is a tool that is used against fools.

The world will still be around tomorrow, though some of it will not see it. People die everyday and it is always the end of the world for someone. If the currencies all crash tomorrow, people will still survive and new systems will be put in place. I may not like all of the solutions; but, that will not prevent them from being put in place.

Here is what we do know, the current international economic system is failed. A change is coming and it is unavoidable. In fact, the average person's opinion will not have any impact on the final outcome and design of the new system.

UPDATE:

Dear readers, I might put my money on the 21st being the day. Apparently, the futures trading is taking a bath overnight. They are blaming it on Boehner's statement about the fiscal cliff. LOL. So lets see what we have, we have a very important person in Italy claiming Italy will default and Boehner saying that we will not solve our "fiscal cliff". Then we have the overnight traders dropping all bets on futures. Yep, today could be the day. What happens when the bonds are not refinanced and we cannot pay our national debts? Will my friends remember that I said this was coming and how it would happen and the consequences?

To the family of Pastor Daniels

I cannot tell you how deeply I have been moved by your prior comment to me. Pastor Daniels has been such an inspiration to me. Her life and knowing about it gave me the strength to go before empty churches or ones where one or two people showed up. I am by nature a very private person and try and respect the privacy of others. Our choices are only for God to judge and I believe the dear Pastor would agree with me on that.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family and friends. I pray that someday I can meet with you and you can know that I really care. I also pray that you enjoy the holidays as she as she would have wished you all could. A lovely soul that only wished well for others. I am sorry that I never met her, I am pretty sure she could have only given me good advice.

I believe that your dearly departed relative wants nothing more than for you to enjoy your lives as you enrich the lives of those around you. I also believe based on your words that you learned that from her, by her actions even more than her words. Tonight, I miss the love of my life, a woman so dear to me, a woman that died last year and I did not take the opportunity to touch again. We can regret missed opportunities or appreciate the opportunities that we did take. You spent time with Pastor Daniels and learned from her and loved her. Please celebrate those times, that is what I believe she would want. Do not let the tragedy overwhelm the real story, the story of who she was, celebrate the Pastor Daniels that you knew.

This post will be ignored by most of my readers and that is okay with me. I know it will not be ignored by the OSBI and I ask that they make sure you are aware of it. We do not know when Jesus was born and his death was what he focused on. It proved who and what he was. I believe in my heart that Pastor Daniels has proven herself. When I die again, lol, I wish to be met by my parents. I pray that they tell me that I became the man that they could admire. I wish to meet the love of my life and I pray that she tells me I became the man she I knew I would become (she was really smart and loving and understood me). I also want to meet Pastor Daniels and I want her to tell me, "Stop worrying, you squeaked by." I will ask her where my broom is so that I can sweep the streets in Heaven because Heaven is where she is and where she deserves to be. I just need a broom. LOL. Smile and enjoy your lives because that is what she wanted for everyone. Peace and God's love to all.

It was not the movie that caused Benghazi

Just a follow up. Fox News - Analysis of social media in Libya finds no reference to anti-Islam film on day of attack.

Benghazi and Baloney

A prior post.

General Petraeus and the Defense Intelligence Agency

It seems very convenient, as has been noted by others, that Hillary Clinton bumped her head and could not give testimony on Benghazi. In addition however, it appears a number of high ranking State Department officials have had to resign. Reuters - Yahoo News - U.S. State Dept officials resign under pressure over Benghazi killings. Now, one article pointed out how the State Department had been given conflicting reports on what caused the attacks. That is pure fiction. When they claimed that the attacks were caused by the YouTube video called the "Innocence of the Muslims" it was a lie. Nobody surveyed the attackers, it was just a lie.

Let us consider this. If the CIA had claimed it was because of the movie then the analysts would have been asked to resign and not people at the State Department for believing them. The lies originated in the State Department and the Intelligence Agencies responded in whatever way they did. We know the result, Patreaus = Gone. Clinton = Gone. Senior State Department Officials = Gone. I would say that is CIA 3, State Department = 0.

Now, here is the real question. What was really going on in Benghazi? Why were the Ambassador and 3 agents allowed to be killed? If the official story about the movie had been believed then what would have been the US response. I bet we would have left the country and the Muslim Brotherhood would have taken over. The Ambassador was a hero to the moderates and was to be part of a peaceful transition. Maybe a peaceful transition was not what was wanted.

School Security Round 2

I just read and watched this report from ABC News that was posted on Yahoo News. Pretty much what I said would be promoted. While everyone is arguing over gun control, the real agenda is being played out and it is total monitoring of people in schools. The school in the report even does criminal background checks on everyone entering the school.

Eventually you will not be allowed in the school classrooms to even see your kids or hear what they are being taught. Inside One School's Extraordinary Security Measures.

How Much Internet Freedom and Why the Government is Hypocritical

I have a question to ask my readers. If I use the internet to hack into government computers, it is a crime; but, at the same time the government claims that nothing on the internet is private and internet service providers and cell phone providers giving away anything they are asked for without a warrant. So, which is it, are there privacy rights on the internet or not?

At some point in time we need to make a societal decision and we cannot have it both ways and neither can the government or companies. If we believe in any degree of privacy then we need to establish a set of rules and they will need to be international in scope. Extremism results in bad decisions and at some point in time we must make the hard decisions. In my opinion, the rules should be universal.

More Internet News

Wired - The Internet of Everything: Let’s Get This Right. A simple article calling for everything to be accessible. It calls for the end of privacy and constant monitoring of all human endeavor while having computers explain it all to us. It calls for a justification for doing what we are told and giving up free will and self definition in exchange for "winning".

Wired - Why We Fight to Keep Registered Sex Offenders Online. Here is the simplest answer, we cannot prevent anyone from using the internet if they need to use it to pay their bills. The article does not mention that; but, it is the truth. If we cannot keep pedophiles off the internet then we must be able to identify them and restrict what they can do on it. That will be the argument. The first people required to have individual internet identification will be pedophiles and then criminals and eventually all of us.

Wired - Internet Safe From Globalized Censorship as UN Treaty Fails. The American representative said that restrictions to the internet must be determined by all people. Sounds pretty good; but, why should the international society be allowed to determine how I may use the internet in my country or in my house. There is no legitimacy to international governance. We as a world would need to agree on that first.

The Connecticut Shooting and How it Will Be Used

I believe most of my readers are probably aware of what happened in Connecticut today. A 20 year old man entered a elementary school and killed 20 kids and 6 adults. While many people are calling for more laws against guns, that is unlikely to happen in a significant manner. People will correctly point out that on this same day, 20 children were injured at a school in China by a man wielding a knife. You do not need a gun to kill people.

So, how will we protect schools and our children? Lets go back to an earlier post that I made. XBox with kinnect can now identify everyone in a room. As many of you may or may not know, many schools are now requiring students to have a Facebook account so that they can receive their homework assignments. I find it amusing that "Face"book has some of the best biometric facial recognition in the world and over 1 billion users. The schools will be equipped with facial scanners at the entrances and classrooms will be equipped with cameras that identify all the students, there will not be a requirement to have an RFID chip in your school ID, it simply is not necessary.

My heart and prayers go out to the families and friends of all those who have been impacted by these horrendous events in China and Connecticut. I cannot possibly understand what they must be going through and searching for a way to prevent this from ever happening again is natural. The purpose of this post is merely to outline what I believe will occur in response to what has already happened.

Spies, spies and the military.

I previously wrote about General Patreaus and the military's attempt to take over the CIA, didn't go to well for him did it? ROFL. I then provided my readers with an article about how the military wanted to create it's own CIA called the DIA. This article from Wired is all over that, they act as if this agency has been around for ever and is forward thinking. Wired - SpyPhone: Pentagon Spooks Want New Tools for Mobile ‘Exploitation’. Imagine having a military with information that the CIA and FBI did not have, that is dangerous.

Here is another article from Wired that complains that the FCC is being hindered from doing their job of giving us all WiFi because of the big bad cellphone service providers. Wired - It’s Time to Fix the Pitifully Slow, Expensive Internet Access in the U.S.. This is really just propaganda by them, I have previously written about how the FCC is attempting to take over local right of ways, this is just another piece of the same baloney. Wave bye bye to local rights.

Wired - Attorney General Secretly Granted Gov. Ability to Develop and Store Dossiers on Innocent Americans. The article mentions how the government will take information from all of it's databases to compile information on everyone in them. Hmmm, taxes, social security, travel, purchases, what information will they not have?

Lots of news stories with silliness

Sorry, still getting things straightened out in my life. Lots going on at work and lots going on in my life. Still, I want my readers to at least know somethings that are going on and for them to look a little deeper.

Los Angeles Times - Santa Cruz County beaches flooded with dead squid. So we have another mass die off of a single species of animals. At first it was claimed that the squid beached themselves, then it was claimed that they washed ashore dead. Does anyone actually investigate before writing their stories? Simple question, what could possibly kill them all at the same time, disease could not, they would each die on their own. Pollution and poison could not, it would kill other animals too. Now here is the best question, since 2010 we have seen a large number of mass die offs and each time we are told what "probably" killed them and none of the answers are ever validated. Nobody ever comes back after checking the animals and gives us the final determination or any proof. Why not?

I am not going to give a link to David Icke's website. I am not an Icke follower; but, he has provided a link to a video about the Royal family. It is from a Russian version of YouTube; but, it is in English and it has not been censored as it is being in England. It is about the death of Lady Diana and raises some interesting questions. Personally, I believe that we will see the Royal family taken out of power because you cannot have world government while you still have Kings. "How the royal family have got away with it so long - the blatant cover up of what happened to Princess Diana superbly exposed in this banned documentary, Unlawful Killing". The video has some places where it stops, just go to the time bar at the bottom of the video and click a couple of seconds beyond the skips and hit play at that point.

Yahoo News - NYC teachers’ fund pledges $1 billion to post-Sandy rebuilding. This article is fascinating, apparrently the NYC teachers pension is not in trouble so it is giving a billion dollars to help rebuild after Hurricane Sandy. What? When did the pension fund become a charitable society? This is a pattern, across the nation, governments are getting money from public pensions that are supposedly underfunded and a drain on the public. More fraud on the public pensions is all I see.

Yahoo News - Associated Press - Jackie Chan suggests Hong Kong curb protest rights. I used to like Jackie, now he makes me sick to my stomach because he is such a sell out. He has said that the Chinese need to be controlled and should not be allowed to protest. I bet he still has all his houses in Hong Kong. Get a little money, sell out the others.

Media Lies are Predictable

There used to be investigative reporters, what happened to them all? Reporters are just repeaters anymore. They don't have their own words they just tell you what someone else said. There is certainly no real analysis. I would like to use a couple of recent stories to demonstrate this fact.

Bloomberg - Fed Links Rates to Joblessness, Expands Bond Purchases. The Federal Reserve plans to continue buying bad mortgages and keeping interest rates low until unemployment drops below 6.5%. The lengthy (by today's standards) article basically just quotes different people and summarizes what they were told. It does end by pointing out that one of the members of the Federal Reserve doesn't see how buying the mortgages is helping the economy. Unfortunately, the reporter doesn't even bother getting an answer from Bernanke.

For the first time in history, interest rates are going to be artificially deflated until unemployment changes. Nobody seems to really ask why or how the two are related. Consider this, having the government hold bad mortgages does not cause one new house to be built, the amount of distressed and vacant housing is still too high. There is no need to build more houses in the United States. Lets look a little further. Is the Federal Reserve paying current market rate for these loans or a rate based on the original valuation. To buy it at the original valuation would be utter insanity as the mortgages are 40% under original valuation. I cannot believe the Federal Reserve would pay $1.00 for 60 cents. If they bought them at current value then the banks that sold them would have to show massive write downs; but, that is not happening. How come nobody is asking that question?

Now, lets go back a few posts to where the International Monetary Fund called for hyper-inflating all the currencies at once and then deflating them. If we hyper-inflate in unison and then pay off the debts instantaneously, it will be governments and central banks that will eliminate all their debt. You will not be able to pay off your debts as this occurs, it will be in milliseconds. What does the day after look like, well, the government and Federal Reserve will still own all the mortgages. They will have experienced debt forgiveness; but, you will still owe them. At that point they can easily reduce your mortgage by half and still make a profit. You will be happy too because you get to keep the house you could never afford.

Here is another article. Yahoo News - Reuters - U.S. should automatically register voters: Attorney General. You should be disturbed by the article. It says, "By coordinating existing databases, the government could register "every eligible voter in America" and ensure that registration did not lapse during a move, Holder said.". It also says that it would not require a national ID; but, it merely that is exactly what it does, it creates a format for identifying every eligible voter. To do that, the databases would have to give your age and nationality. Conservatives will love it because we will know that all voters are good Amaricans and liberals will love it because it ensures that all eligible can vote. Privacy advocates, well, they are nut jobs.

Different News Stories You Need to Know

Hello dear readers. It has been a rough five days; but, I am now back. I thought I might provide you with some news and analysis. Before I do, my thoughts go out to my friends in Oregon, it seems that some fool began shooting people at a mall up there.

First article. CBS - New York - Jersey City Unveils 3-Story High ‘Eye In The Sky’ Surveillance Tower To Fight Crime.

Caltech - News - A New Tool for Secret Agents—And the Rest of Us. Basically, they are saying that a small chip added to your cell phone would allow you to see through walls and inside of things just like with an x-ray except it would not use x-rays so no damage done, right? Now as an interesting side note, here is another article. Design News - Mystery Signals Show Up in Neurological Amplifiers. The article is a tough read unless you are an electrical scientist; but, let me give the gist of it.

There was this scientist working three stories underground using electrical amplifiers to read and effect the brainwaves of monkeys. Now that in and of itself is really creepy if you think about how it could be used. The scientist begins picking up a very special type of wave, the kind that could penetrate anything. You see, the laboratory was three feet underground and surrounded by things to prevent it from being seen. The electric guy discovers that the waves are coming from a nearby airport (what do you want to bet it was a military airport). He brings this to the attention of the airport and it immediately stops. Guess nobody was supposed to notice.

On another note, the Federal Reserve is going to buy even more bad debt in order to help the economy. It will now hold $4 trillion in assets although much of those assets are in bad mortgages. Makes perfects sense doesn't it. Bloomberg - Fed Seen Pumping Up Assets to $4 Trillion in New Buying.

Wired - Getting Your DNA Scanned Now Costs Less Than an iPhone 5. A company that is owned by Google has can now scan your DNA for only $99. What a perfect gift for Christmas, according to the article. Heck, if we can get everyone's DNA scanned wouldn't that be the perfect way to verify your identity? Now, why would you need to put a chip into people when a simple DNA and biometric scan will do?

Wired - Google Accidentally Transmits Self-Destruct Code to Army of Chrome Browsers. The program that apparently caused this was a program that works with the cloud called Sync. It allows a Google Chrome user to use any computer or phone and have it automatically configure itself to the users preferred settings. I think I wrote about that before. What is interesting about this article is that apparently Google has a kill switch on all of their products.

People retain very little information because they work basically the same. A person hears something, their first response is to wonder how it may or may not effect them directly. If it does not effect them, they accept whatever lame excuse was given and forget about it. If later the issue comes up again they will say that they had heard something about it and parrot back the excuse they heard and not look at the issue any further. At that point in time you can tell them how there is more at stake; but, they have already decided they are safe and will gleefully remain ignorant.

The Pimpernel is in a weird mood, too much has happened in the last few days and I am not sure what to think. Have a great week.

Partially Moved In and News

Thanks to a very dear friend and a young relative, I am partially moved into my new place. One small hiccup and I resolved that problem. I liked my old place; but, the new digs have many advantages, mainly, it is a little larger.

The Telegraph - Text messages direct to your contact lens. Sort of like Google glasses except nobody has to look at them except you.

CNNTech - Time - Why 'Six Strikes' could be a nightmare for anyone with shared Internet. Basically, Internet carriers are going to be responsible if you download illegal material. If you share an internet connection you will be held responsible so you better keep an eye on those who share a connection with you. You watch, this will be used so that people want to have their own individual ISP because Starbucks will not want to be held accountable for what you do.

Mail Online - Paedophiles who trade child porn will not be sent to prison: New sentencing laws suggest community punishments. It sort of speaks for itself, in England the penalty for child pornography will be community service. Funny, this is the same nation that intends to give classes on pornography to children in school.

Detroit News - NHTSA gets White House OK to mandate vehicle 'black boxes'. I had previously written about how this was coming; but, the article also says something very interesting. It turns out that most cars already have them, did they bother telling you that when you bought your car?

The Royals Baby

So Prince William and Kate Middleton are having a baby. Personally, I find the idea of having kings and queens to be ridiculous in the modern world. I don't really want to pay someone taxes so that they can look down on me, they can do that for free. Still, Prince William no more chose his parents than any of us do. They are newlyweds having a baby, I wish them nothing but well.

It must be hard to be royalty, it so stunts one's growth. It is nice to know how to fix a car, how to cook for oneself, how to sew (yes, the Pimpernel can actually sew clothes together, not well; but, enough to get the job done). It is nice to know that you can survive any circumstances, they don't get that privilege, they believe they must rely on commoners. That is a prison that I do not have to live in, I am good to go just about anywhere.

General Petraeus and the Defense Intelligence Agency

Now here is something amusing. The civilian CIA was placed under the control of an acting General, they were militarized for four months. The General is somehow convinced to quit. I wrote about this just a couple of posts back in great detail and questioned the official story. Now that the general is no longer in charge of the CIA, an new organization is to be created. The Defense Intelligence Agency, a military version of the CIA.

I had read about the DIA earlier today; but, I didn't put two and two together until I read another article about it tonight. I don't remember where I read the original article, it would have been a major new source so you can search it. I am including a link to an article from Russia Times just because it is the second one I read.

Double agents: Pentagon grows CIA twin out of own spy pool

Here is something interesting from the article, originally the CIA was against the creation of the DIA; but, now they support it because the operatives will report to the CIA station chiefs. What do you think the CIA really thought about being put under the control of an active General?

I have always had a great affinity for the intelligence although, the FBI has annoyed me on more than one occasion. I still respect them. Still my heart has always been with the CIA and their nerdy little analysts, sitting in little rooms, reading everything on their subject matter and then writing contingency plans. Solving puzzles that don't even exist yet.

The CIA is the worlds largest think tank is dedicated to protecting the United States by knowing what others are thinking. Very little gets past them and their games are exquisite often. When we think of spy agencies, we think of James Bond; but, that is one in a hundred. Don't worry about the man with the gun, worry about the man that sent him because he can always send more.

I like to think that there is nothing that I have written in any of my posts that were investigative in nature that some darn CIA analyst hadn't also figured out. A very long time ago; before I became the loving Pimpernel that you read, I was approached by someone who wanted to recruit me into one of the organizations. I had been told in advance what to look for and what to expect. Cryptic, no, the people read this and know me can ask me about it if they so choose, just not for the consumption by those who do not know who I am. I messed his game and he had to go away, my attempt at indicating no when I was still young and easily annoyed.

Whatever you think is going on in the world, so do the fools that think they run this place. The world is run by contingency planners, by intelligence operatives and not by the military and only by the politicians and wealthy when they play by the rules and there are rules. I come from a military family and there is quite a lot I admire about people who willingly put their lives at risk for others. They were not designed to decide when to act. Diplomacy, it is said, is war by other means. War means that you have already failed or that you simply don't care about others.

So, hopefully you find the irony in all of this. Originally an active General was put in charge of the civilian intelligence agency and now, the Military Intelligence will report to the CIA, to the civilians, just like the Constitution intended. A civilian, the President, control the military. I have very little respect for "Homeland Security", they are not very subtle, a grotesquely created animal with little sense.

Sometimes, not often, I regret that I had not followed a different path. I grew up too close to such things and decided to just be the loving Pimpernel that we all know. Yet, somewhere, in the back of my head, I think I would have been an okay analyst, sitting in some little room, reading all that there was about my subject matter. Perhaps it is the hermit in me. LOL.

Eye Control and Computers

I was busy changing accounts and getting ready to move so this will be short.

Yahoo News - The Sideshow - Eye-controlled functionality coming soon to smartphones and tablets

I recommend you watch the short video. The article says that the computer first calibrates itself with your eye movement. You see, everyone's eye movement is unique biometrically to them. I have written numerous times about how this is what is coming and this is just one more piece in the puzzle. It is not coming in ten years, it is coming over the next three to five.

I was over at the supermarket today and a very nice Englishman was in front of me. I knew the clerk and was just waiting, no hurry. The man was amusing and mentioned how all purchases would be electronic, plastic money. He said he was okay with that; but, that he would never let himself be chipped. I knew what he was talking about and mentioned that chips were unnecessary as in the future we would be biometrically identified to make any purchases.

It has been and remains my belief that the threat of placing RFID chips in everyone is nothing more than an intimidation factor to get people to accept unlimited biometric recognition for all purchases. I repeat my belief, it is that eventually everyone will have an individual IP address required to access the internet or other technological devices. That is an international biometric identification. I believe eventually the database will also have your unique dna sequence.

Moving Again

I may not have much to say for the next week. I am moving, I am only moving from one apartment to another in the same building; but, I still have a lot to do. I have to get curtains, turn on the utilities and move all my furniture. At least I don't have to rent a truck.

I think every place we live ends up with emotions attached to it. All the things that have transpired in our living spaces that create memories. My current apartment marked a milestone in my life. It was the first time in over 20 years that I did not live in a place that I owned for one. It was also a break from the past in other ways, it was a break from my married life. A place that is not associated with my ex-wife. A new place with new memories. A new beginning if you will.

Amazing Humans

It is 12:46 in the morning. I woke up and am sort of fuzzy in the head. I like that feeling, the feeling between sleep and awake. This has to be one of the most random blogs in the universe, sometimes I have some very important things to discuss and other times it is utter nonsense. Currently I am getting a lot of traffic over a two year old post regarding NASA. NASA said they were going to have an important announcement which turned out to be nothing, a few days ago they said the same thing and somehow I am drawing traffic to my old post regarding the "new" announcement. Heck, the old one turned out to be nothing.

This is the third iteration of this blog, I have posted somewhere around 3,000 different articles. I don't even remember them all. Only about 1,100 remain as I destroyed the first two versions of this blog. I lost control over the blog a long time ago, it is it's own creature, random thoughts from a random person. LOL. Along the course of this trip I have acquired readers, some who know me and others that came here for whatever reason. Hello Robbie.

My most read post was on Pastor Carol Daniels. I guess some people might assume that post was more than it was. I cannot make that claim, her death touched me and I wrote about it. I didn't know it would touch others. One person left a comment asking me if I was trying to make money or notoriety because of my posts about her, heck, I didn't think anyone other than my loyal readers would ever see it. We don't control who reads our blog, just as random as I am. Her family contacted me a couple of times and I have yet to come to grips with that. I wonder if they kept reading my stuff and think how disappointing it must be for them as I have no more insight into the case. I wish I did.

Now for some randomness and something to remind you why we all matter. You see, a young lady in Austin, Texas, proved how awesome we can be. She makes donuts; but, more importantly she cares about others and is as crafty as they come, a real problem solver. She loves a challenges and rises to them, she tests herself. I promise you will enjoy it.

Now, as I am dreamy, lets post some music. Have a great week.

YouTube - Dr. Hook - Sylvia's Mother. That song is actually from the first record album I ever bought. A song of sadness.

YouTube - Ringo Starr - Back Off Boogaloo. My favorite Beatle and the first 45 I bought was "It Don't Come Easy", his first hit after leaving the Beatles.

YouTube = ROCK AND ROLL HEAVEN RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS MIKE

YouTube - Curtis Mayfield - Diamond in the Back. The Pimpernel hated Disco; but, was into funk. In the 70s a friend of mine asked me if there was funk after death. LOL.

YouTube - Curtis Mayfield - Pusherman Too good to funk up.

I am going to link to a song that I hate. The Commodores had a lot of good tunes and this one I hate. I had to light a dance crew back in the 70s and this was the song they danced to. It is stuck in my head and I never liked it. YouTube - The Commodores-Brick House. It is the dumbest songs I have ever heard. And worst of all, Lionel Richie, someone who actually has talent, sang this. Let us wash the bad taste out of our mouths with something better by him.

YouTube - Commodores - Sail On. One of the best break-up songs ever. Very insightful. Let us not judge him by Brickhouse.

YuoTube - Hello by Lionel Richie

YouTube - The Hollies - The air that I breathe [1974] Original Version [HQ]

The most spiritual song I know is by the Hollies. YouTube - THE HOLLIES - He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother.

I want my Robbie to contact me and tell me she still likes my choice in music. I don't get enough feedback on this blog. It should be a two way conversation. Tell me I suck, tell me I was pithy. Whatever, more music as I am still sleepy.
