As any of you who know me in the real world know, the title of this blog sums it up for me, the truth is inside of you, not me, not anyone. You are unique and only you can experience God to your extent. I don't tell people the truth on this blog, I don't know it except partially for we are limited in nature, that is God's design not mine; but, he usually has good ideas.
I don't like absolutes in answers, it means we are unwilling to continue looking, to continue growing. My blog will continue to ask questions and continue to struggle with the answers because we should struggle and not be 100% convinced that we have the absolute truth, answers are hard to come by and we have to work out our choices to get to them.
I met some truly nice and loving people and got to exchange some conversations with them, I do not believe we are of a like mind and I do believe people should believe as they will. My blog summarizes some of what I believe, not false, the truth as I understand it and belief without understanding is give up our free will, my beliefs are arrived at by understanding, mine not someone else's.
I believe we arrive at understanding by a give and take, discussions. This blog is not a discussion, it is my thoughts as they develop. I have discussions in person and on the phone. I have many friends of all beliefs and we are told to have a reason for our faith, I do and when asked I say exactly what it is, I don't tend to pull punches on that. If we do hide from stating our beliefs then we hide our light and we are told to not do that.
By the way, I ordered dinner in, it was a new place and it was real mediocre for the price. My housemate asked me how I liked it and I told him I thought it was overpriced; but, I am still learning the area. I am just enjoying trying new stuff and new places, I like the surprises, I don't want all the answers, searching for them ourselves is the answer until we discover it for ourselves. My opinion and I am allowed one on my blog.
Pimpernel, for good or bad, is his own person and I hope you are your own person. It is good to be ourselves, the best we that we can be. One of my readers (a dear friend) and former co-worker told me that he could never be me (because of my years of experience and approach to problems), I told him that he shouldn't even try, he has skills and abilities that I do not and he should take what I taught him and push his abilities to their limit, not try and imitate me.
Are there people that I can learn from, yep, everyone; but, not by being trained. I believe teaching is the art of showing things, asking people what they believe and questioning their consistency. That is the Socratic method, to teach to think for oneself. It is a slow process and takes years; but, then the answers are your own even if we agree on most things.
Everyday I read the news looking for things to bring to your attention because I read enough that I read things most people never catch. We are too focused on the things that directly affect use. That is why we have blind spots. I may lose a reader who I really enjoyed knowing because of this post and that is okay, my words are my own and they will remain my own. I like meeting new people and exchanging ideas; but, I do say what I think and will continue to.
I promote people creating their own blogs or in this case meeting rooms, we should be allowed to share thoughts that are not universal, that is we should be allowed to exchange in private with like minded people and there are not a lot with a mind like mine (that was a joke). This blog started with a simple post and I will repeat some of the themes.
All we know is that we exist, that we are self aware. Not I think therefore I am, I experience therefore I am, that is the beginning of all, self awareness. In the bible it says in the begging was the word and his name is "I am". That is the beginning of all knowledge, knowing that you are. You are unique. This experience we live is either real, a representation or false. The difference between false and a representation is that a representation is merely a way of viewing the truth. As they say in quantum physics, a projection.
Some people are blind and some deaf, they still experience this universe; but, in their own way understanding their unique filters. I am autistic and understand through mine.
We can believe we are the only being in the universe having multiple experiences at the same time or we can be eternally evolving sentient beings. One grows and the other merely experiences. There is a movie, "50 first dates", I happen to like the film. In the film there is a young lady that starts each morning as if all the others over two years had never occurred, a type of amnesia by time. She is trapped in starting from the same place each day; but, in the end of the film we discover that a very small part remembers something, she remember love. That is the most important thing, to remember love.
Love is not something we feel, that is joy, love is something we live, something we do for others, it is service to others, that is the consequence of love. We do it because our hearts know it is the right thing. Love is also found in how we respect others to seek their own path and let them choose what they listen to. I believe in that and support that for others.

The Cloud is so Beautiful
In the computer world there is a lot of talk going on about "the cloud". So what is "the cloud"? People I ask say that it means your data and programs reside on the internet rather than on your computer, that allows for tablet computers. But,http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif the software actually exists somewhere, it resides on the internet. Do you remember me explaining that the "internet" is 13 US government owned computers as the backbone?
In other words, your information will be stored in a system that is controlled by the government. It will indeed, everything transmitted goes through those sixteen. Your computer will be nothing more than a fancy browser, that is it. You will love it because you wont have to upgrade your computer as often. Lots of money will be saved because you wont have to buy expensive hardware.
We are being sold on the cloud in business already. Here is a nice article.clouds in the air
Software update on my computer today and it is messing with how I use blogger. Anyways, when the change comes (and ever since Windows Vista, your computer is already virtualized), you won't even notice the difference, it will look the same on your little tablet. What it means is that you will not be able to compute except when connected to the web. If the net goes down you wont be a be able to use your computer for anything.
This cloud could bring some pretty big thunderstorms if it goes down. It will shut down businesses. It will shut down just about everything. Considering what happened in Japan, is this really a good idea? It is not if, it is when will the net go down, not even why.
Look, the Japanese have had tsunamis and earthquakes for a very long, yet, they built the power plant next to the sea. Well, shouldn't they have made it tsunami proof? Why didn't they? Because they needed to be next to water or it would cost a lot more to move it inward. An idea can sound find and be pulled off with cost saving methods and that is the choice people usually make. The reliance on the internet is the same thing.
