Calling For Faithless Electors Has Nothing to do With Russia

Fox - Podesta backs bid to overturn electoral vote.

Yahoo - The December 19 Electoral College Vote Must Be Postponed Until We Figure Out What's Going On With Russian Electoral Interference.

The Morning Call - Electoral College should support Kasich, not Trump.

YouTube - CNN - Ex-CIA operative calls for new election

Reuters - Exclusive: Top U.S. spy agency has not embraced CIA assessment on Russia hacking - sources. Wait the head of the organization that oversees all 17 intelligence agencies in the United States does not believe there is proof that Russia hacked anything.

There is currently a lot of talk about why electors to the electoral college should vote for someone other than Trump. The lie is that they are promoting is that Russia hacked Podesta's emails and gave them to WikiLeaks. I will prove this is a lie.

Firstly, here is the post I wrote in March before Trump had even become the Republican nominee.

TTIIY - Why Do We Pay For Non-Democratic and Non-Representative Primaries.  In it I linked to a post in the Washington Post.

Washington Post - The electoral college could still stop Trump, even if he wins the popular vote.  At the time I wrote that post, WikiLeaks had not released Podesta's emails and Russia wasn't discussed AT ALL.

TTIIY - Manipulating the Electoral College to Fix the Race.  I wrote this post back in August, prior to Trump winning and linked to three separate articles calling for the electoral college to refuse to vote for Trump if he won the election. None of those articles discussed Russia or WikiLeaks as being the reason for the electors to violate their constitutional duty. The linked articles are from the same newspapers that are now calling for faithless electors because of Russia, the only thing that has changed is their excuse.
