Please consider this as a possibility. Imagine an eternity of solitary confinement, imagine that to be hell. Sounds pretty gruesome. Imagine being alone forever. Imagine only having your own thoughts. Got it.
Okay, now we are going to play a game. How bad is this earth? Is it worse than hell? See, that may be the trick. The big bang. Anything is better than eternal solitary confinement. No matter how bad your life has been, has it been better than eternal solitary confinement, I bet it has. I never want to hear someone ask me why God does bad things to "good" people. Why don't we only have bad things happen to us? Science would be good with that.
