I Got Kicked Off a Website Again

I was a contributor to a website. I got kicked off because I caught them doing something naughty naughty. LOL. I was kicked off one before because I did something naughty, I was rude. This one kicked me off because I caught them doing something. My daddy was very smart and in law enforcement. He taught me something. He taught me about Modus operandi. He told me that people will keep doing what works until they get caught and that eventually, they all get caught. LOL.

Now let me explain how social websites work. Hmmmm. This could be fun. Social media websites are run by real people. It takes a lot of time and a lot of effort. Usually Moderators are not paid and they have to commit to monitoring for hours a day. They are dedicated and must be moderate in emotion or the site will fail. The moderators and owners know your IP address and have access to everything that you ever post including internal correspondences using their site. They have the ability to edit every post and every correspondence; but, do not do such things because then everyone would know as some of us also interact in the real world.

Lets talk about Tiger Woods for a second. You see, sometimes forget that I am an analyst and not just a blogger. Tiger Woods used to go to Las Vegas to have sex. He would have 20+ $2,000 a night hookers in his room and pick who he wanted for the night; but, they all had to be paid. This was done on casino owned properties. After doing this for years, one day, suddenly one of them gave him up to the newspapers. A week later another gave him up and then a week later a third. That is what led to his divorce and someone told his wife before it made the papers. Hmmmm.

Who gave up Tiger Woods and why did they do it? It cost a lot of money, he lost a couple hundred million in the divorce. The casino had to allow it to happen, why would they do that? Something with that whole story just never fit. Now back to the website that I just got kicked off of. I made a post, nothing spectacular and actually quite mundane. I got a response and then someone edited the response. No biggie; but, the person who edited the response was not shown as the same as the person who wrote the response. Okay, it could have been a moderator; but, it showed up as another casual user.

Lets go through the options and I do have my own blog and the person who through me off a social media site years ago was the owner and a friend, someone I truly love. I know how these sites work. My dear friend who tossed me off her site was redesigning it so that I could be allowed back on if I allowed my words to be edited and checked in advance. I am not very good with that; but, appreciate the effort she put in and her affection. The problem with that is that you accept being edited in advance of people hearing you say and I am not good with that.

Anyways, I caught this website doing something wrong and misleading and called them on it. I asked how such a thing could happen and they buried my question. They hid it from the others on the site. It was very respectful, I have had this blog for years and it is apparent how cautious I am not. I keep it kid friendly and pg13. I regulate what is posted here and so does every social media site. They want to hear what you have to say, so they edit after you have posted not prior. My blog edits prior and all media has that option on the web. I do hope my readers are understanding this.

Now one of the moderators of the site I have been kicked off of said that I had found a glitch in the system. How many things would allow one user to edit another users post? Lets think about this, the site automatically generated the name of the poster and the editor. On my site, I cannot edit your comments, I can delete, post or not post. That is how blogger words; but, when you own a site you can let anything happen that you want.

I have hundreds of comments on this blog. To post as one of them, you need to sign in or post as anonymous; but, the website merely records how you posted. If you wanted to edit someone else's post, you would have to log in as them and then it would be clear that you had logged in as them. You couldn't log in as me and have it show that you logged in as yourself. That just doesn't make any sense. You can do identity theft, you could log in on my blog using someone else's log in; but, you would show as them. You cannot log in and edit someone else's identity and show it as yours. I have never seen that in my life until this weekend on a major site that spends hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to keep their site up.

Got to go to bed kids, have a nice week.
