Not my fun day. In the news I recommend you read about how a company is asking to sell pills with microchips in them. The chips will send real time data about your health to your cell phone and it will send it to the company. No thanks.
In other news follow the attacks on the Federal Reserve now that people finally understand it is not part of the government. Also keep an eye on the G20 meeting in Korea, they are going to discuss the future of the Dollar as the world reserve currency. Be well. You have your assignments, we expect a full report in the morning.

Happy Sunday
Hope everyone is having a nice day. I am using today as a day of rest. Very soon I will be storing some of my stuff while I wait to leave my house for good. As I look towards disposing of my thing, too many to take, I don't look forward to going through all of the stuff. Many memories will be jarred.

Electronic Democracy
Go back and see that I have written about direct democracy and coalition governments. This article talks about "direct democracy" in Russia. In England people are talking about taking back their government; but, they have gone to proportional representation and will not be able to gain consensus. In the United States we have "kicked out the Democrats" who were making us socialist; but, we are looking at four years of gridlock and nothing will change.
In other government news, George W. Bush admits to ordering waterboarding. The ex-president admitted to ordering torture. Peoples response was to say it was a good thing. We have become like our enemies. Our ex president admitted to violating the constitution and international treaties.
Oh, lets not forget the people who lied about the presidents ordering waterboarding. Your government lied to you, the people you voted for lied to you. Is that okay? What about the military officers and the CIA who knew, is it okay that they lied to. Friends, that is conduct unbecoming and officer and a gentleman. That is a violation of the military code of justice. They can and should be court marshaled.
Now if you want to read something really crazy, here is an article about a legislator in Parliament who says that a secretive organization wants to give 5 billion pounds to help England out. It starts about 2/3rds of the page down. I read about it on a couple of news sources. I don't know what I think about it. It is Guy Fawkes day. Look it up. The Lord also admitted to having laundered billions for terrorists. It's a joke. It is just a very odd joke. It didn't make a headline on the London Times. I am assuming that each year on Guy Fawkes day someone in their Parliament makes an outrageous statement or something along those lines.
What about the volcano in Indonesia that they say could be the biggest explosion of a volcano in ten thousand years. That is not a good thing. When Krakatoa blew it sent a shockwave three times around the world. This would be louder. If it blows as they fear, kids that is a game changer. It will be colder on earth, fast. I don't even want to think about the tidal wave that it would send up. Katrina and the Haiti disasters will quickly be forgotten. This is a possible earth changing event. The national debt and your personal debt will matter little. Growing food will matter. People need to watch this one.
We had a spike in readership yesterday, 20 views in a day. Today someone read about Pastor Carol Daniels. The post on her is one of my most read. Comments are always welcome, even on old stuff. It is good to know that people are searching about her on the internet. The case needs to be solved.
I don't know how my readers feel about me leaving little parts of a story at the end of some of my posts. Just a literary thing I wanted to try.
I have something I want to say; but, I can't get it. A feeling. I feel like I should talk about tomorrow; but, I can't remember why. Oh well. It is November of 2010. Heck, I remember watching "2001 a Space Odyssey" in 1969 and thinking that I would never see the day. Now it is 2010 (the date of the sequel). I am living in my own science fiction. It was science fiction when I saw the movie.
The oldest person in the world died, I think she was 116. She was 20 when World War I was going on. She saw people use planes for the first time and then saw us land a man on the moon. She was living in science fiction land. How do you handle that, seeing those changes? How much science fiction could you handle seeing and living? Be well.

A little saddened
I had to finally face my finances. I collected a year of bills and started going through them in preparation for my foreclosure. The court, in it's infinite wisdom, left me with $300,000 in debt and my ex, about $2,000. A far cry from four years ago when I had no debt, over $100,000 in the bank and $250,000 in equity on my house.
I was going through my expenses trying to figure out how I will afford any apartment. Dear readers please understand I will do just fine, I know how to budget and require little, that is not the point or what is on my mind. I worked for 38 years, 23 for the same employer. I rose very high and make six figures; but, I only keep 2 of every 5 dollars I make.
Funny thing is, I can't say I care that much. On one level I see the unfairness, on another, I feel free. I worked my way up from $4 an hour to $70. Not bad. Now I have something to work towards again. I will complete my foreclosure, consolidate my debt, pay it down and move on. I waited three years to look at my financial future because there was no point while the divorce proceeded. I didn't know how much I would pay in attorney fees or alimony so I couldn't plan. Now I can and I am a decent planner.
For those who stood by me and watched me lose everything, thanks for being there. For those who took and did not stand by me, have a great life. There is nothing left to take and clearly many did not appreciate what they did take. They miss out on the joy of gratitude.
To those who know me best, of course I have a plan, always did, just had to wait until the dust settled to get busy. I awake from my dream and am ready to get busy. Only one delay and that will not last long, three months at most. With excess baggage removed from my life and I can be a very effective individual. I just need a target and I can see clearer what I want. Didn't know what I wanted for the past few years, I was too busy dealing with the mess.
If my salary is reduced any further there will be no point in my working as I will not be able to afford to get to work. Everybody will lose except me. That is the world we have created. The guilty are rewarded and the innocent punished for the crimes of others. Rewarding people for adultery or for bankrupting companies or for corruption in government is wrong; but, apparently it is lawful. What message does this send our children. Accepting these things as okay still sends the wrong message.
I need no pity and I need no money. I am quite satisfied with my days now. My days are filled with nice conversation, cooking and work. I laugh a lot now, I laugh daily and many people enjoy laughing with me. I have an inner peace that I have not known since I was single. I have my dog, he is laying at my feet and seems quite satisfied to do so.
We made a wrong turn when we stopped considering guilt and responsibility. We made a wrong turn when we began focusing on how much one acquires rather than what one contributes, we started sending the wrong message. It was unsustainable. Life is not about things or experiences, it is about how we impact one another.
On a side note. I had spent all day and night with my best friend enjoying Disneyland. The morning was coming and we sat on the curb, exhausted, waiting for the bus to come and get us. I looked up between two buses and saw. I hoped I was not noticed. After it passed I sort of limped. I reconciled myself to what my life was and where I now lived. Saddened, I wished her well in my mind.

New England
A couple of days after I arrived it snowed three feet in one day. It was one of the worst blizzards in their history. A great introduction to my new home. Stuck in a hotel, not knowing what was around or a person in the area. I was hating life.
For almost three months I had nothing but anguish. I finally had an address. I wrote a letter, it ended with; "It's okay if you don't write me back". No response was given.

A Small Request
Okay, this blog is read by about 20 people a day including foreign countries. I would deeply appreciate it if everyone who has read this blog posts one comment to this request. Be well.
Sick again
Yeah, barely made it through yesterday. Dinner was half a bowl of cream of chicken soup. Feeling better today, slept a ton. Today is election day, talk about being sick.
Jon Stewart and his stupid attempt to ridicule people who think this country is going socialist is a good example of the arrogance that surrounds us. I am not into tea parties. I don't care for the republican party or the democratic party. Both are lies.
Our government has changed and our opinion was not asked. The TARP bill was passed without our representatives even reading it. Same was true for the Patriot Act and the Stimulus Bill and the Healthcare bill. Mr. Stewart seems to think these things don't matter.
Our politicians are not doing their jobs. Then again, who is? Most people feel the world is too complicated for them to understand and they want things simplified. That is why Obama could run on the silly phrase, "Change". People side with images and gut reactions. This is a problem.
Mr. Stewart and his friend Mr. Colbert think we all need to take things less seriously. I disagree, we need to investigate and understand what is happening. The discussion regarding changes to the healthcare law was short and nothing was agreed upon; but, the law was passed anyways. It doesn't matter if you are for or against these bills, what matters is that we have an active national discussion.
If we wish to have a responsive government, we must insist upon knowing what is being voted on. We must be informed, we must investigate. The "tea party" movement was hijacked before it began. It was a way to let people vent.
I would like to remind people about the "town hall" meetings. They were a joke. The meetings were held with congressmen who did not want to attend. So why did they go, there is law requiring them to. Who made them go? How? Why were they called "town hall" meetings, who decided that?
We have become a socialist nation (good, bad or indifferent) in violation of the Constitution and without a true national debate. There was no Constitutional Conference. The Constitution was just ignored. For those who care, by the way, I am sucking down all the water I can. I will even try and eat something solid tonight.
We should be asking the question, why is the government system failing. We should be looking at the system and not just the lame personalities. We need to eliminate term limits, we need to vote for people who are neither cowards nor idiots.
Mr. Stewart said that these were not end times, just hard times. I disagree. At a minimum we have seen the end of being a Constitutional democracy. We are seeing the end of capitalism, we are seeing the end of privacy. We are seeing the end of home ownership, we are seeing the end of the middle class, these things apparently escaped Mr. Stewart's attention. His answer seems to not be so upset by it.
If every illegal alien left the country, it wouldn't effect the laws that have been put in place. You would not have more privacy or undo the healthcare bill. Our economy will not untangle from globalism, it's just not going to happen. Because we have been divided over our biases, we cannot come to agreement on what needs to be changed.
