What do you think of this link?

There is a new television show coming out called "Falling Skies" and I still don't watch television. I saw it advertised on the sides of buses and wondered what the plot was. Apparently, aliens attack the earth and humanity tries to keep alive. I don't care about the rest of the plot or the show.

I went to the website and was trying to find a commercial for it. Instead I found something a little creepy. One section of the site is a tab called "Last Defense", if you type in your address it will show you your home and neighborhood being destroyed. I am guessing that it is liked to google maps. Anyone knowing your address can now look at your house, your car, your front yard, your back yard.

The government has been able to do this for at least 40 years, I don't really mind that much. My ex, people I don't like, co-workers, people I never met should not have that sort of ability. I am going to leave a link, as I plan on ending the blog soon, I hope people find this site and follow the link. It is to an organization called "Electronic Privacy Information Center". It constantly talks about your PRIVACY and what technology is leading to.

Now, I am not sure that I trust these people. There are privacy issues that I do not believe should be negotiated for everyone by anyone. One of the current issues is Facebook's ability to use facial recognition software to find pictures of you on other sites. The "solution" will be to give you the choice to opt in or out of the program. I would charge people with treason for even attempting to use such software.
