Samsung Galaxy S III

I thought we might talk techie. Samsung is about to or has just released a new phone, the Galaxy S III. Now I am not suggesting anyone should buy one. Actually, what I want to do is talk a little bit about what the phone does, it can predict if you are going to call someone. The phone is loaded with biometric information, it even knows if you are you. There are two cameras in the phone, one that aims out and one that aims in.

Remember a little bit back when I wrote about the new google glasses. I had said that eventually they would be able to identify people out of your social network and others. Here is a quote from the article:

"And there’s more still: Facial recognition technology built into the S III identifies people in photos, and links to your friends’ pages on social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, making it easy to e-mail or text a photo to the identified people." I find that very creepy. Take a picture of someone and your phone will find their social media pages. This is a whole new world for stalkers.

In the very near future, if you take someone's picture with your phone, facial recognition software will identify them for you. But, wait, here is the fun part. The courts have determined that anything that travels over the internet or cell towers then it is not private. That means the government can use your pictures to spy on people without your knowledge. You are going to love it though because the first big news of catching a child molester or a terrorist or a kidnapped kid will make us all love the technology that monitors all of us 24/7.

Wired - Samsung Galaxy S III Tracks Your Eyes, Knows When You’re Ready to Call

Hey, if I take a picture of myself the phone will both identify me and my location over the internet. Gosh, if we required all phones to have facial recognition and verify the user then we could prohibit terrorizers from using phones or the internet. We could prevent child molesters from talking to minors. The ability to limit speech is unlimited. Not really, after catching the first few the rest will find a work around; but, we will continue to be monitored.

I tell you that these things are coming and then as they arrive I show you that they are here. As you understand where we are heading you will be able to see how these things fit together if you understand the end game. The end game is all electronic currencies which can only be accessed by you through verifying your biometrics. That is where this is going and when the world's currencies crash and we go to all electronic currencies remember that I told you this was planned. Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to determine why anyone would want to create such a system.

I like to listen to music while I write, so I pull up youtube. If I login to this blog, youtube automatically logs into my account without being asked to. So, youtube knows which music I listen to even if I did not personally login. It didn't always work that way. Here is a question, what is the purpose of Store Reward Cards, you know the little card you swipe at the supermarket that lowers your prices? The purpose is to track your food purchasing habits individually. You should check out the following link:

Vons Just for You

I have to say that I came across this because I happen to shop at Vons on a daily basis. This was a new promotion that they began running a few weeks back. The store has had people stopping everyone who came in to see if they wanted to get personalized coupons by signing up for this program. They even gave a free carton of eggs. I didn't sign up; but, I do have a Vons card that I use. The point is that they didn't go to all this trouble just to give me discounts. Imagine combining this technology with google glasses, you could walk in the store and know which items you buy are on sale and where in the store they are. We will all be shopping 24/7 in are google heaven.

Here is a question. In the google glasses commercial. There is the part where the guy walks in the store and he asks where certain types of books were and it mapped it out for him. How did the glasses know what store he was in and where in the store he was down to inches? Think about this, none of this would be possible if people had not bought camera phones, can you even get one that doesn't have a camera in it now?

Just some fun news for you all. Have a great weekend.
